    * The Double Smash burger was great - the buns were incredibly soft, the cheese was gooey, and the beef had a nice smashed crust with crispy edges * The fries were nicely seasoned and crunchy and the SM sauce that came with it was delicious blend of sweet and tangy * Overall, a delicious spot in downtown L.A. that has friendly service and is reasonably priced for its location

flop this was $15...it's not worth that much imo like it's not bad but it's very underwhelming it's like a school lunch that id eat if it was free but wouldn't go out of my way to pay for

We've been starving for some new food options in our neck of DTLA, particularly this little strip mall where restaurants don't seem to last terribly long over the past couple years, but my boss passed by today and said that they were open so he came over, and unfortunately, he's vegetarian so they don't have any options for him, but for me, their menu is limited, but their prices are very fair for smash burgers let alone Smashburger's in DTLA. Smashed and charred edges to perfection, with good taste. Simple, but tasty! The fries are shoestring, but also cooked perfectly crispy and topped with a little spice and a little drizzle. The Egg Roll Burger... it is in fact an Egg Roll w the Smashburger ingredients inside. Tasty and I'd get it again for a change-up, but the better value (and flavor) is in their burgers. Super nice crew, not much ambience inside and they're still having some opening day glitches, but I do foresee us in my office frequenting this location

A Double Smash Burger, good lacing and tasty!!!

On a whim and to have a snack before going out to dinner later, my girlfriend and I decided to walk next-door to a newly opened restaurant on the ground floor of the building we are staying in... This would be "Smash Masters," a spartan and clean restaurant that really only has one or two things on the menu: smash burgers and something they have created eponymously called an eggroll smash burger. No chicken. No pork. Just beef smash burgers... And let me tell you, they are excellent burgers, what with the patties being extremely thin and smashed so as to get that lacing we all love protruding out of the soft potato bun. They come w pickles, cheese, onions and sauce. Perfect. Something we were not expecting to crow about are their french fries which are as good as any I've ever had at a smash burger joint. Thin, crispy shoe string fries nicely and not overly seasoned w some kind of Lawry's Seasoning Salt that just makes them sing. The smash sauce here is good, nothing remarkable, and maybe a tad looser than I'd like, but damn serviceable too. These are smash burgers of the highest order! Get here.

    This sauce is so good!

You better bring it if you name yourself Smash Masters. This new Smash Burger spot in DTLA does just that. Straigh . Delicious burgers at a great price and excellent friendly and welcoming service. Come support these guys, we really need more options like this. Get the Double Smash meal at only $15 and you will be amazed at the quality and taste for a very reasonable price. You will walk out full and completely satisfied.

This appears to be a brand spanking new place. It bright and clean. It was quite empty. I ordered a #1 with bacon plus fries and a drink. The attendant was quite friendly. He made sure I was good that my fries coming with smash sauce. My food was quickly made. It was modestly sized burger, in retrospect I should of ordered a double. I would encourage them to offer a triple, though it appears you can a la carte add a patty to a double. The patty is plenty smashed with a lot of mallard goodness. Great flavors from the burger and fries. This place is off to a good start, its tough out here. I hope they eventually add onion rings and more.

With only 3-5 options this burger spot is great for its customer service and food. I got the combo #2. The fries were good. Well seasoned. The added sauce gave my taste buds a kick. The burger was juicy. I got my food to go but there are tables to sit down at.

I couldn't even wait to get a photo before eating half the burger. Amazing food, great staff, and fast service. Definitely will be back here. 10/10 recommend

The place is very clean and nice!

All dishes are carefully crafted with its colorful details, and its simple but bold flavors prepared for you through an open kitchen. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Parking: street parking can be rough to find during peak dinner time on weekends but not bad early…read moreevening on weekdays Reservations: Limited availability on Resy makes it seem harder to get though we were able to make one. Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

The attention to detail was insane even from the floral elevator that takes you up to the silver etched with Dior. The ambiance was gorgeous and the service was impeccable. But the food itself was excellent the mushroom consommé was a masterpiece both aesthetically and gastronomically. I also had the abalone which was cooked perfectly so that it wasn't rubbery. It was way out of my comfort zone but delicious. I almost forgot they set the tone with the amuse buche which was like a floral pickle chip? I don't know how to describe it other than it was BEAUTIFUL and tasted like a dill chip. The whole experience was fascinating and a great place to people watch. Can't wait to go again. Swung by w a Rez, and was seated right away. Wasnt super hungry so decided to do a couple things. They have an option that is almost like a shared dish omakase with the the table, but was told its a large amount of food, so we'll all just have to come back for that. This trip we ordered a la cart, so lets get to it: Hummus: They sometimes have a special where you can add a little lamb roast to the hummus, so we opted for that, and I've gotta say this is probably one of the most flavorful hummuses ive had. It went super well with the hot and fresh pitas that came along with it. Roasted Eggplant: This was super good. If you're a fan of eggplant it'll take you for an adventure of flavors with the mint and sauce it comes paired with. Houllumi: If you told me baked cheese was a vibe then this would be it. Super nutty flavor baked in with the cheese and honey. Pair this up with the pita, and you got a delicious sweet and nutty flavor bomb. Kebab: Ended up choosing the chicken and lamb kebabs to try, and they had a really nice smokey right off the fire flavor while being super tender and juicy still. Cooked just right, and if you pair it with their harissa or zhoug it takes it to a whole nother level. Definitely a spot that I'd come back to check out, and do the big feast with some friends, so hopefully trying more things will lead to some best dish discoveries. Overall really good meal, and the vibes here are immaculate. Check this place out.
