Gino was kind of lackluster and was rushing us and saying that he didn't have anymore chicken, cuz it was close to closing time. The restaurant was dirty and had little paper and other things in the floor throughout. I asked for a Mango Pie, but didn't get one, and we got no utensils , so we practically had to eat with our hands, as there was none where we were. We actually had to improvise. Updating my review. Came here on New Year's Day, and had the six piece combo, with the two sides. Amazing! Super delicious. Everything was great. Unfortunately the spicy option ran out at 4 PM? Which I thought was unfortunate. There's plenty of time before you guys close, I don't understand why we couldn't make more? When I ask for hot sauce because there was no spicy option, the staff gave me three hot sauce. Three. What am I supposed to do with three? Even if you gave me six, that's not even enough. I also noticed that a lot of people that are picking up orders are very annoyed because they're not hearing their name. If you have six to go orders, and there's a room full of people waiting, for it to go orders, you should start calling out the names again. Specially, if you're not doing anything. Been wanting to try Jollibees for a minute. I have to say the experience was subpar. First off, no where to park mainly because it's in DTLA. The restaurant was dirty and the cashier acted like he was ready to go. We arrived 10 minutes prior to closing, so I will give him that. We wanted to order the 2 piece chicken, but the cashier said they ran out, but then he said it will Take 9 minutes. He was very confusing and slightly impatient. Our order was as missing some of the food items .i.e biscuit, mango pie, and there were no utensils or napkins. Would give it a 1, but the chicken saved it. Crispy and flavorful. The spaghetti had a smoky flavor. I actually prefer this chicken over Popeyes. I hope this was just an isolated experience in terms of the cleanliness. read more

I placed a mobile order at Jollibee Los Angeles (7th) at 12:04pm, with a promised pickup time of 12:19pm. I waited until 12:40pm only to be told they were just starting my order, despite the app showing it was already completed. That's a pretty big disconnect. I asked for a refund, and Penny said it would take 5-6 business days, which I'll be watching closely. To top it off, the main reason I came was for the Katseye meal, and it wasn't available. Super disappointing. Left hungry and now scrambling to find another meal. Not the experience I expected, hope they tighten up their order system and communication. Stopped in for a second lunch on a Saturday before a hockey game at Crypto.com arena in downtown LA. I just wanted to try their chickenjoy combo dine-in, to see how good is remains, even in a tourist area. This location is on the same block as the large connecting Metro subway station at 7th. It has two floors of dining, with a ADA compliant Handicap specific elevator. We found plenty of seating upstairs. I waited in a inconsistently defined line (the one cashier yelled out 'who's next', assuming that the customers could work it out amongst themselves on who is next), placed my order (2 pc + 1 side chickenjoy combo $12.99) and then waited a few moments to have my number called out. It was supposed to come with a drink, which I forgot to get. In terms of the food, the chicken continues to be great: two large pieces consisting of drumstick and thigh. The coating is crunchy and hot (both in temperature and spiciness)...with the drumstick catching an extra dash of spiciness. The mashed potato with gravy was very good, made from lumpy red potatoes (still saw bits of skin). The included biscuit was fluffy and filling, great with the honey packets given. And the chicken always comes with a small serving of brown gravy, which I love to dip my chicken into. The chicken isn't cheap, though assuming there are specials that I wasn't aware of). I couldn't get myself to order the 'perfect pair' which has jolly spaghetti (sauce made from banana ketchup which my wife doesn't like)....maybe next time I eat with a Filipino who loves it, I can grab a sample...there must be something to that taste combination. read more

Stop by for lunch and it was delicious service was fast which I was so happy for because I only had a 30 minute break. I was in and out in 20 min's. I was a little upset at myself for not ordering the mashed potatoes but the fries did not disappoint. This location has in upstairs, I didn't make it because I had a boot on my foot. Anyway, the guy at the register was super courteous, took our order, literally 30 seconds later our food was ready!!! WHAT!! The fastest Jollibee I been to! Usually the ones locally in San Diego I have to wait at least 20 minutes each time. We ordered our usual 6 piece bucket, mash potatoes and saw their menu has Mac n cheese! We were excited! We go on our merry way back to the hotel. Get back into our room, start unpacking and surprise. The disappointment was real and very sad. The Mac and cheese had very dried up cheese. Like hard almost. The mash potatoes had a very small little scoop in the cup that didn't even fill it half way. I don't know how this was supposed to be enough for even 2 people. The chicken was the usual good taste but the skin was kind of falling off the chicken. We ate all our food nonetheless and obvs there was no left overs. I don't know if this is usual for this particular store because it was our first time being at this one, I'm just used to the Jollibees in San Diego that no matter which location you go to the food is always on point. When I asked where I could park, staff said "I don't know, just go wherever you want," which is extremely irresponsible in a downtown area. After waiting and returning, we were told again the order wasn't ready. While we were waiting, another customer came in later and was served first. Our order was only started after we confronted staff again, which shows it had not been prepared at all despite being marked complete. When I pointed out that orders should not be marked ready unless they actually are, staff argued instead of taking responsibility. Very unprofessional, dismissive, and unfair service.
