If you like smash burgers, this is a convenient and great option. My order was placed fast and the food was ready in a short time. There's plenty of parking in the parking structure, and it's a close walking distance. The location is clean and the customer service was good. read more

If you're hungry and waiting to attend a game or concert at CRYTO , this is a quick bite instead of waiting for a table elsewhere. It's a simple menu, they have beef, chicken or vegetarian option with option of seasoned fries. I asked cashier for turkey option but it wasn't available so I want with classic smash burger combo. It was satisfying, nothing extra about it with good portion. It was kind of busy but still got my burger in 10 minutes and able to find table inside the restaurant . read more

I went here for a quick Burger fix and fries. Unfortunately we went here on the 4th quarter of the Home team game night. We didn't park for fear of $30-40 ticket prices and also getting stuck in grid lock. I went ahead and hopped out and went in for a quick take out of Fries and 2x Smash Burgers. It was nice walking around the Crypto arena outside with the Statues of Legendary Ball players. Can't say the same for the average burger. It was just alright but a little plain for my taste. The Ambiance of LA Live was amazing but I probably would skip out on SB for next time cravings. read more

We used to be frequent patrons of the Culver City Smashburger, with our favorite burger being the truffle mushroom. We moved away from the area and today's trip was our first day back to a Smashburger location in almost a decade. Boy, the menu is really limited here! I ordered for takeout and only the classic smash with and without bacon was available. The burger itself was fine, and the patty was still juicy. But there was nothing special in terms of the sauce or toppings. The rosemary fries were subpar compared to before, with essentially no rosemary seasoning. I am hoping the poor experience was solely because of location & maybe they just ran out of ingredients for the night. I am browsing the Smashburger website, and it looks like they still sell the truffle mushroom burger. And there is actually a location near me! Let's see if attempt #2 lives up to my positive memories of Smashburger from before. read more

Console allowed us to order things that weren't available, and after we were charged the staff were very unhelpful.

I attended the Kings/Rangers game recently and ate here beforehand. It was better than I expected and they dealt with long lines really well. I go to a dozen or so Kings games a year and usually go to Tom's next door if we are eating/drinking in LA Live. Tom's had a private event the night of the Ranger's game, so Smashburger it was. I had the bacon burger with Smash fries. It was good before the game and they serve beer. The line went quick and I would go back again. read more

No restroom off the bat wasn't a good look but the environment was decent I guess, being close to the Lakers arena. $25 for a burger and some tater tots is crazy but the burger was edible at least. We found a long strand of black hair in our burger which nasty asf but we're big boys so we love the extra protein. 1/5, entire staff hides in the back, nobody at the counter. read more

Order using a kiosk at the front. Fairly quick and easy to get through. You take a number and grab a seat and they bring your food out. Service was pretty quick. My dad enjoyed his classic smash burger... I just snacked on some smash fries that come with Rosemary sprinkled on and they were really tasty. They have a patio that lines LA live, perfect for people watching. Definitely a good spot to drop in for a quick bite before a game or a show. read more

30 mins for the regular combo is ridiculous!! This location didn't seem to know what there doing. The kitchen and manager just bumping tickets to look like they keeping up with orders. All the workers just was ignoring people with online order and prioritizing walk in/ kiosk orders. read more

[ Food ] I ordered a regular smashburger with cheese and it was good. [ Service ] The lady that took my order was really nice, it was raining that day and she asked if I was dining in or out, I looked around the full house and I said out, but then she reassured me that I can eat it indoors once I find an open spot. [ Parking ] I was in the area for the Peacock Theater so parking was $$$ at a nearby private lot. read more

Quick and easy meal that hits the spot especially for those heading to the peacock for a concert after--although it is pricier than expected for a fast food joint. Smashburger is a chain. This one is our favorite. Located at LA Live in Downtown LA it is filled with excitement and fun. Now, it is always crowded but the line moves fast and you will be fine. You order your food at the counter and eat there or on their patio. You can also get take away or delivery. We love to eat there before a show at Crypto Arena (their food is awful by the way) which is right down the street and part of LA Live. The prices are fair and they have a good selection. Parking is in a public lot for a fee, there is really no way to avoid that. The service is super friendly and they are pretty quick. They are especially patient considering I have never seen it without a line out the door. The place is very cute with nice seating inside and out. It is kept very clean. The selection is nice. We love all their burgers and they also have great fries. We often get one of their salads and they are always fresh and crisp. I love that they have milk and their hand made milk shacks are super. They have chicken burgers that may grandson loves. I like their crispy Brussel sprouts. Their sweet potato waffle fries are good are very good, but who am I kidding, they are not healthy, just get what you love and for me that is their French fries and tater tots. All of their food is good and you will be happy. Have a great time at LA Live and Smashburger. read more

Food was decent but overpriced. The tots were scrumptious. The margarita I ordered was weak. Puzzled by the fact that they have red onions as a $2 premium item. Onions should be a basic included item on most burgers. read more

One of my favorite places at LA live consistent and legitimately delicious after trying every single place at LA Live. This is the one place I go to for Burgers. They also have beer on tap and prices are reasonable for LA Live, which can be expensive. They have really good milkshakes also and the chicken sandwiches yummy. I had already swore off this place. But I was desperate for food. Next time, I'd rather gnaw my tongue off. You will pay like over $30 for a burger. If you are looking for an option without bread, you better order a double. And even that won't be enough. The cheese seemed to be cheap fake cheese. They have gotten rid of all of their options. No more mushroom burger, just some very limited, and quite standard options. The burger was very salty - that's their version of "taste". DO NOT come here. Literally, any other place would be just slightly better. read more

Does anybody work here? You'd be forgiven if you thought the answer was "no". I stepped in, saw dozens of people who had already paid standing around waiting for food, no one in the kitchen, no one running out orders, and a decently long line of people waiting to order, too with no one to help them... Every customer in there seemed really angry, and there wasn't an employee in sight. In downtown LA. In the middle of the day. I couldn't tell you about the food, because I never got that far... But then again, neither did any of the other customers. This place needs to staff up! Save yourself the wait and go somewhere else. read more

Waiting to watch tubby Doncic at Crypto, so I came here because Fixins was too crowded. Line was packed here as well, but it was going pretty fast. After all, this is a fast food spot. The menu is pretty basic. Just smash burgers with different toppings and a chicken sandwich. They have fries, of course, and tater tots, too. Got the classic combo that comes with a fountain drink and a side of fries or tater tots. Chose the latter, which you really can't screw up. Unfortunately, the fountain machine was out of ice and the soda I got was flat and warm. Everyone was asking staff to get some ice in there, but nobody ever remedied the issue. Just a waste of a drink. As for the burger itself, super low to mid. Just nothing special at all. Patty was just unremarkable in every way. Wasn't even smashed or crisped that well. Bun was just your ordinary bun. Anyway, would definitely not come back as there are so many other food options out here at LA Live. Also, no restroom! read more

Wherever there is garlic I will roam. Lately I have been enjoying these garlic fries and with parmesean way to much. However for right now I will just indulge. After an event we headed over to Smash burger. We have been hearing a few things about it that we just decided to put an end to wondering to knowing and tasting. Let me say I'm not a fan of tater tots, well now they added garlic changed my whole outlook. Burgers were flavorful. Parking well whenever in DTLA you are aware of the challenges ,yet there is paid parking it has always worked out for me. read more

Smashburger - Burgers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

First off, it's annoying that when you go to a Lakers game, your options are Yard House, Smashburger, Lazy Dog Cafe, and some "fancy" sushi place. It's downtown L.A. and this is the best they can do? Obviously I blame much of this on Karen Bass and her dirty predecessor, Eric Garcetti. Shame on these filthy democrats--no offense, obviously. I digress. My Smashburger was okay. It was obviously smashed and falling out of the bun. Seating was limited, but we found a tiny table with stools, which offered zero lumbar support after a 2-hour drive to Crypto.com arena. The soda fountain was limited. Diet Mountain Dew would be a nice addition. Altho this is out of Smashburger's control, why aren't there some food trucks outside next to the LA LIVE area? There are some truly elite foot trucks in L.A. and we could be eating delicious burritos and tacos whilst glazing upon the majestic statues of Kobe, may he rest in peace, Shaq, Magic, and even Pat Riley. read more

Highly unorganized. We watched 3 people who ordered after us get their food before us. And we only ordered a side of fries!! We ordered at 7:32pm. It's 7:48pm and we still haven't received our order of fries! So much for trying to get a quick bite before a concert. read more

Food: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 8/10 We were in the area enjoying a Sparks game and stopped by Smashburger for a bite before the game. It was a Tuesday evening, around 6:30 pm, so we didn't have to wait in a long line to order. So, the food is good. Given it's location, it's pricey for a burger but it's good. We ordered a double-double smashburger, a grilled chicken, and a cheese burger. We also ordered regular fries, sweet potato fries, and tater tots, which were a winner! They're seasoned with rosemary and something else. Given how empty it was, the staff was very helpful (and patient while we ordered) and our food was out within 15 minutes. I'm not sure why the menu is only posted on the wall- it would be helpful for accessibility reasons, I'd they could have menus at each of the POSs. It gets overwhelming to be looking up and trying to figure out what to order. Overall, it's a great place to grab a bite before going to the Crypto or LA Live for an event. read more

What a sneaky way to save money on food and drink before attending anything at Crypto.com arena! Was in LA Live a little early for an event and Jocelyn really hooked it up and made me feel like a regular! She made sure I knew about the $4 "add a beer" option to my burger order. On an event night, everyone's in jerseys and the vibe is buzzing ready to get you going for the game or concert you'll be seeing shortly! Definitely stopping by again - thanks Jocelyn! read more

For whatever reason, most of the food spots within easy walking distance of the convention center were closed this Tuesday. Smash burger, however, was open. This combo (drink not pictured) was $18 plus tax. It was "ok", but not memorable in any way. Price was probably more than it should be because of location. In n out is way better at half the price. read more

Horrible customer service, obnoxious server who can't answer properly what options you need. Don't waste your time here.

We love the taste, and environment. Talk about being original. This place is a must if you are in downtown Burbank

Hate to do it, but management needs to do something We came just after lunch at 1:30, a call group came by and the staff was overwhelmed. Thing is, it wasn't the staff's fault. There were only two people. So it took 30 minutes to get to order. If they had for employees, it would have been half the time. Additionally, the fountain drinks needed to be refreshed. The Cokes were watered down, and the root beer was flat. Again, with more employees, this surely we would have been taken care of. The two staff clearly were doing their best, not bring lazy. It was just to much for them. read more

Never has a smashburger, but I had to try. The price is a little steep since I am from the Midwest, and burgers are under $10. Here they are $17.99, so that's a little steep, but oh well, let's try it. It's a burger, and although seasoned well, it's not anything I would go out of my way to find. Literally, it's a burger and nothing spectacular. Is that bad to see since so many love their smashburger? Well, I can't conform. It's not all that. Service was pretty good as they greeted me right away, and we're kind, so I am happy about that. Although their soda fountain didn't have the correct colas. Sprite was empty, and once you pushed the ice, you better be prepared as it flys off the machine! The whole spot for ambiance was good, not the biggest restaurant, but it did accommodate a few. Personally, I wouldn't try again, but it's not a bad burger, just too expensive. read more

I'll do this in order of what Yelp asks. 1) I only ordered tater tots and they were good, not great. Not as crispy as they should have been. My friend had a mushroom burger and she described it the same, good but not great. What bothered me a ton was that, as written by another reviewer, was that their menu boards weren't working. Which is why I only ordered the tots. My friend heard someone in front of us order the mushroom burger and that's why she ordered it. 2) The young man that brought our food to our table was working his butt off and did it with a smile! 3) I'm not sure what to say about "ambiance". It wasn't very busy but it felt chaotic. read more

I came here before going to see a concert at the novo. There was no wait which was nice and plenty of seating. I got the cheeseburger and fries and they were very tasty. The fries were hot and the burger had great flavor. The service was fast but I was sad there was no ice in the soda machine. I did however enjoy that they had Coke Zero. The food is expensive for what it is but that makes sense because of the location. If I came back for an event and needed a quick bite I would definitely come back. read more

The only reason why it gets one star is because of the food. Service was not great due to the cashier (Joselin). They were rude, and very short when we had questions. At one point my friend asked a question and they put their hands up as if they were saying "look at the menu." I understand that a rush of people has just come in after the Lenny Pearce show, but as part of customer service (and I have worked food service) they should have been more professional.
