It was great! Super hidden gem! The chicken was crispy and tasty. Very clean restaurant and amazing staff.

I was craving fried chicken in LA and stumbled across the yelp page. The pictures drew me in because the chicken look so crispy and exactly what I wanted. Bonus that the fries looked bomb too. We ordered the chicken and waffles combo with the crinkle cut fries, the elote Cheeto fries, and the 6 piece honey garlic soy wings with thick cut fries. Everything was really good. I enjoyed dining in their casual set up and I liked the fact that we found parking in their lot I also like how they have a variety of other menu items, such as hot dogs and chicken sandwiches. And their food is halal which is super cool

OK I came here after a rave bc this is one of the only spots open late. Its like a very small shop where (i recommend) you just pick it up and eat in your car or sumn. AND WHEN I SAYY THIS HIT THE SPOT!!! IT HIT THE SPOT!!! This tastes like everythign you imagine and more :OOOO. I cant tell if it was bc I was drunk out of my mind but this shit tasted sooo good. FOOD: Price: Fairly inexpensive ~$ Corny Dog - $8.99 (100/5) Holy shmoley this dawg is so good. If you like elote, IMAGE THAT SHI ON A DAWG. oh my god this is the typa food that makes you 100% nonverbal. I almost creid bc of how hungry I was. The pure excitement when I bit into that dawg is real. Meaty Dog - $9.99 (10/5) Holy cow this dog is insane. If you want some meat in your mouth this is the way to go. Everything in this dawg compliments each other sooo welll. Holy pastrami Mac & Cheese Fries - $11.99 (5/5) What the hellllll this was soo good. I LOVEEEE MAC n CHEESE and THIS WITH FRIES?????? And they also had chicken bits in there MUAH PERFECTION. Im def comin back here

First try and totally love it!! Really good halal fried chicken wings and fries. Peaceful environment and a good spot for halal wings.

The service was great! I ordered Mac& Cheese fries. It was okay. Would have liked for the cheese to have more flavor. Got about 5 pieces of chicken which felt more crisp than chicken. The plate is a good size! If I could do a do over as a first, I would have ordered a sandwich they looked tastier. Went around 10pm there was space to eat.

If you want THE BEST chicken sandwich with 5 different levels of heat available come here, this is seriously the best, juiciest chicken you'll find anywhere around here, it is also halal and made fresh to order, definitely recommend getting the chicken with the hot honey heat level it is the perfect combo of heat and sweet

Bruh... if you're craving something greasy, fire, and 100% halal at 2am -- Dogs Chicks is literally the spot. Hehe took my friends here since we were all in the area and it was great! Must-try items: The fries go crazy!!! And there's so much it's loaded. The regular fries hit, but the pastrami fries and bacon fries?? Unreal. Smoky, salty, cheesy, perfect after-hours comfort. The fried shrimp lowkey stole the show. Crispy outside, juicy inside -- they season it WELL, not bland like other spots. Meaty Dog - stacked, loaded, and filling. You actually taste the beef. Fired Up Dog - spicy but not disrespectful. Just enough kick to wake you up. Combo #3 - honestly gives you everything in one go. Good value and super filling. Everything is halal, cooked fresh, open late, and they do not skimp on portions. I swear their fries are practically a meal on their own. Final verdict: 10/10 when you're starving past midnight and you want something greasy, halal, and actually good. Fries = elite. Dogs = stacked. Shrimp = underrated.

Deon B.

Came to this location after my evening basketball game. Got the Combo 2. The food was actually really good! Everything was fresh, crispy, and juicy. PSA: DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE SPICE LEVEL! I got the mild and it's a little spicier than the usual mild you'd find at a franchised hot chicken food spot.

Combo 2. 2 Chicken tender/waffle fries
Yoshiki Y.

The food was astonishing. A huge refresher in taste compared to all these new chicken places. Best chicken I've ever had. The service was very welcoming and sweet.

Bacon Bacon & Pastrami Fries

The fries were loaded! The bacon and pastrami fries come with chicken, which is really crunchy and not too heavy. The sauce is fire and the fries are crunchy. Good eats, decent price.

This time, I went with the Anwar Style Chicken Shawarma to try something new. The portion size alone is impressive. The container is packed and feels substantial the moment you pick it up. The base is a bed of fries, and these are not just filler. They are thick, well seasoned, and sturdy enough to handle all the toppings without turning into a soggy mess. On top of the fries is a generous amount of chicken. The chicken tastes freshly cooked, with that warm, savory flavor you expect from good shawarma, never dry and never overly salty. There are pita chips mixed in, which add a great crunch and texture against the fries and chicken. Multiple sauces are drizzled throughout the dish. I chose a side of their spicy sauce. The creamy white sauce balances things out, while the orange sauce brings a mild heat and a little extra depth. None of the sauces overpower the dish, they work together to coat everything evenly and keep every bite flavorful. Diced tomatoes and corn adds a touch of sweetness that surprisingly works really well here. A sprinkle of herbs throughout helps brighten everything up and keeps the dish from feeling too heavy, even though it is definitely filling. This is comfort food done right. It is messy in the best way, packed with flavor, at least to me it was. If you are looking for something hearty, satisfying, and consistently well made, I will always recommend Anwar's Kitchen. Service was great. The bartender and server were both super knowledgeable and helped guide us through everything, which made a big difference with a menu like this. The ambience is beautiful. Big bar in the back, great lighting, a mix of natural and more moody tones that make it feel elevated but still comfortable. For mains, the pot pies are a must. We tried the biryani and the butter chicken versions, completely different but both worth it. Portions are huge, you will have leftovers. The quesadilla with fajita peppers and tandoori chicken was such a cool fusion idea and worked really well. The boneless truffle chicken had this creamy, almost alfredo style sauce with Indian spices that made it super unique. Ended with the saffron noodle pistachio ice cream dessert and that was unlike anything I've had before. Definitely something you try at least once. I chose naan. It was really good but it was a little too spicy for me. The cashier told me they could add yogurt the next time around. However, what really stood out is how the fish was cooked. I feel in American restaurants, fish is just cooked in a way that makes it just taste ok. Even my 17-year-old, who usually only prefers homemade Indian food loved it. Here's what we ordered and my thoughts: Papri chaat - The papris was out of this world, with the perfect crunch and a rich, buttery flavor. The chutneys, potatoes, and chickpeas complemented it beautifully. The only small downside was that there could've been a little less yogurt. The sweetness level of the yogurt was just right, but it slightly overpowered the dish. Maybe a thicker drizzle of yogurt would balance it even better. Tandoori wings - Yum, yum, yum! They were perfectly seasoned, spiced and not dry at all. A couple of pieces were slightly overdone, but we didn't have time to think about it because they were so enjoyable overall. Everyone at the table loved them. And a special mention for the cilantro whipped cream, oh my what an unexpected concept! The flavor was a solid 10/10. The texture took a moment to get used to, but once I did, I couldn't stop eating it. Onion bhajjis - We ended up ordering these twice, which says it all! My son couldn't stop eating them. He's never even had pakoras before so these were an absolute hit!!! Chicken tikka masala - The best I've had in a long time. great balance of tangy and spicy flavors without being creamy. Generous portions of chicken and it was tender. I could've happily kept dipping my naan in the sauce all night long. Naan were alright! Slightly flat and overdone, but great with the sauce. Chai - we loved it so much we ended up having 3 cups each! Perfectly spiced and just the right amount of sweetness. Poutine - A bit underwhelming overall, but the masala potatoes were delicious. Honestly, I might have enjoyed it more without the gravy and chicken. Seekh kebabs - kebabs were tasty, but the sauce didn't quite work for me, it was salty, thick and didn't complement the already rich kebabs. I would've preferred them with sweet and green chutneys and maybe a pinch of chaat masala on top. Parle-G & malai kulfi - More than a perfect ending to a big meal.
