We were drawn in by the owner, who was extremely kind and down to earth - and had *serious* passion - for his menu, which he devised himself! Very tasty PIGEON wings! After seeing that this place was rated best chicken wings 2026, and since I moved here from Atlanta, I had to try. My order showed up unsealed, so the wings were cold. I know this wasn't the courier's fault because the two ends that weren't sealed shut had never even been bent to shut from the start. The wings did have great flavor, but I couldn't believe this place had the nerve to charge $16 for 6 of the tiniest wings I have ever seen. They have a fried chicken waffle sandwich here and the classic spicy chicken sandwiches and double fried french fries with seasoning on top. They also have great tasting sauces - its in the right side of the TASTE food hall at the bottom of the Fig at 7th mall. They do offer parking validation for 30 minutes They also have fruit flavor teas such as peach lemonade tea. I would definitely recommend the tenders and the sweet garlic dipping sauces. Ordered it a couple times for people at work and finally hopped on down to try it myself as it's only a few blocks from our office. I wish this was a stand alone instead of the food court setting, but that's where it is, so it's where we have to go. They definitely do a unique chicken & waffle offering as a sandwich, using the waffle and it's pretty tasty and filing. The wings are decent sized and tasty, but due to the food court overhead, you're looking at $2 per wing (still avg price nowadays though). He is Korean, I believe, and he explained that his original location was in Atlanta - what a perfect combination! Korean fried chicken x southern fried chicken. I've been super excited about trying Ranch and Maple since I first saw the "coming soon" sign on one of my weekly trips to the local Target. It was (I think) a Sunday night a few weeks back when my wife and I wandered into the food hall to split up and get some dinner. Now, I was kind of expecting the flavour I choose to mean the chicken bites were going to be saucy, but NOPE, they were just chicken chunks and a small side of sauce to dip it in, which was a huge letdown. This meal also came with a lemonade and a side of fries, both which were perfectly fine and were solid fast food things. The chicken itself, yeah, pretty boring honestly. It tasted like every single other chicken place that's popped up over the last few years and it was just plain mediocre. Overall, Ranch and Maple was okay, but nothing more. Ryan (the owner and super friendly!) told me the recipe comes from his family in Atlanta, Georgia, and you can tell it's something special. The chicken is thigh meat, so it's super juicy and flavorful -- not dry at all. Every bite had a really nice burst of flavor, and honestly it's one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. Also their wings and waffle was delicious! Waffle sandwich was bit big for my mouth so had to take bite sizes but def packed with big flavors! Pretty decent chicken sandwich that is cheaper than anywhere you can find one. The portion is not gigantic but does the job for only $12/13.oo. Owner / cashier is very polite and helped me with my first time order. I did regret taking it back to my office which is 15 minutes away because when it gets cold it's just not quite the same thing. I suggest you eat it on the spot. But it has all the elements of a good chicken sandwich nicely fried and nice toppings and brioche bun which is my favorite.
