We found this place while we were driving by and decided to give it a shot. The chicken bowl that we ordered was extremely fresh and the chicken was very tender and delicious. Make sure to ask for the dipping sauces as they have a few variations that definitely take the bowl to the next level. I would definitely recommend this place. It's a great place to stop by for lunch and they also have a milk, tea and Boba spot in the same location. I've been here twice already, and the staff has always been super helpful and super generous.

This time, I tried the Spicy Chicken Bowl. I've ordered from here multiple times in the past. But those orders have always been the chicken wings, which are great. The chicken in the bowl was juicy, flavorful, and the spice level was just perfect. Had a nice burn, but not a lingering burn. Rice was great, held everything together nicely. You would think rice would be easy, but too many places mess it up. But, now onto the bad parts. The pickles didn't really mesh well with the rest of the dish for me. They felt out of place with this order. The coleslaw was warm (as it always seems to be here), which kind of throws off the flavor for me since I like my coleslaw cold. The pasta noodles were just okay. Nothing wrong with them, but nothing particularly special either. But even with those setbacks, for the price $13.75 for the bowl, you get plenty of pretty good food. I still recommend this place.

Food was great, super crunchy chicken wings and the service was super fast. Place was small but great vibes for a quick bite.

I ordered many different kinds of food, and the chicken was great, and the spicy pork and pasta were so delicious. Make sure to try it in downtown

Am here this time to rate their matcha which they added to the menu. The strawberry matcha sells out quickly it seems but its really good. The brown sugar boba is great too! The service was quick and friendly.

SO GOOD. Fast service, friendly staff, tasty food. The homemade potato chips are really good. Recommend to try it if you're in the area!

Overall: 3.3/5 (Postmates delivery) We ordered on Postmates and the food came in about 35 minutes. Everything was packaged nicely in its own box. Unfortunately after our meal, we felt unsatisfied. Sadly, the food looks better than it tasted. Better Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($11.75): The chicken in this sandwich was the best of the three. The fried chicken piece was big, had a good amount of meat, and was crispy. The flavor could have been better and wasn't consistent. It's not your typical gochujang flavor too and has more of the chili powder taste. 24 Oz Boneless Fried Chicken Cup - Sweet & Soy ($13.50): The sweet & soy tasted weird; I didn't like it. The boneless fried chicken were very small in dimensions and barely had any meat on them - kinda like popcorn chicken. Not worth it & wouldn't get again. 1/2 Pound Soy Garlic Wings ($8.95): This has the best flavor of the three. It came with 2 wings and 2 drumsticks which were pretty small. Half the potato chip fries were undercooked. The onion rings weren't bad. The shoestring fries were soggy and not crispy at all. Creamy Kimchi Fries ($5): These were thicker fries than the ones provided with the chicken sandwich and wings. These fries were also soggy and not crispy but tasted a little better. The creamy kimchi on top is really good though. I do wish they gave more of the kimchi.

Chicken Spicy Fired Fried Rice Bowl (garlic sauce not in picture)

Walked more than a mile to try it out. Not bad and not spicy (I don't usually eat spicy spicy food). Fried rice had chicken/other meat too so it's not only the lonely chicken on top. Garlic "buttery" sauce initially was great then kinda became saucy for me. The pasta salad was good too but too much saucy for me (not a fan of too much sauce / and mayonnaise like taste). Definitely worth the walk. Iced tea without boba should be cheaper (not a fan of boba).

It's expensive ($34.99) for the Premium Angus beef, but the flavor is just so worth it. Service is fast and efficient. On our latest visit we took the Metro, exited at Wilshire/Normandie Station, and walked 8 minutes over. The restaurant seems to have updated their décor to a more modern and new look since my last visit. Also they have introduced a lot of new menu items, so it felt like an appropriate time to update my review and renew my support for the business. On prior visits I have tried both the Clam Kalguksu ($22.99) and the Chicken Kalguksu ($22.99). Both are delicious depending on what protein you are craving. The broth is incredible soothing and great for a cold day or just anytime you need comfort food. The noodles are chewy and pillowy soft, it just melts in your mouth. When we arrived on our latest visit it was as busy and popular as I remembered. We were lucky that they were able to seat us right away. This latest visit my boyfriend and I tried new items from their menu. My boyfriend had the Tokmanuguk ($20.99) which has rice cakes, dumplings, beef, egg, and carrot in their anchovy broth. I had the Chicken Jook ($23.99) which is the Korean version of a chicken porridge that comes with half a small chicken, green onions, garlic, toasted sesame seeds, squash, onions and topped off with a smidge of sesame oil. Our meals came with a little palette cleansing introduction of barley rice. Just a few bites, but it sets up your tastebuds for the meal. They also had some side dishes for the table. The food took a while to come out, but understandable for how busy they are. This food is made with love and your patience will be rewarded. When it came, it was SO DELICIOUS! I tried a bit of my boyfriend's food and it was so comforting. Perfect for those who like the chewiness of the Korean rice cakes or dumplings. I just love my chicken porridge a little more cause I'm obsessed with porridge whenever I can get it. I love how much vegetables Koreans are able to hide in their porridge while making the veggies so tiny, you won't even notice it. So healthy, delicious, and soothing. It was like a hug for my soul. Also, the portion was huge and both my boyfriend and I had a portion togo that was the size of another meal. You can't go wrong with their food here. I definitely want to make an effort to come back more often. Until next time!

Me and friend started with drinks at the bar - I got the hwachae milk punch, a pretty pink sip! My friend got the espresso martini, their take made with cold brew soju, Korean coffee mix, and makgeolli. Both were fun, well-balanced ways to kick off the night. Their honey butter chips were pretty delectable - fresh-cut potato, fried until crunchy and airy, then drizzled with a honey butter glaze that channels those nostalgic honey butter chip snacks. The sauce was good but can definitely be a sweetness overload, so if you don't have a sweet tooth, I would avoid ordering. Got the pine nut cold noodles, which was refreshing on a summer day - white noodles in a chilled soy milk broth with pine nut. The pine flavor was pretty subtle, so if you're into that, definitely get this, but for me it was just okay. The pork jowl was delicious though - comes with chili crisp and garlic rice, and we ended up taking some home because we couldn't finish it all! Service was great - we sat at the bar and got to watch the bartender work and chat. Parking can be hit or miss; you can either park in the several garage structures around ktown or the small paid lot in the Danbi plaza, but we came on a Thursday night and it was still pretty busy. Overall, a 9/10 meal with good vibes, cute drinks, and delicious food. Already dreaming about trying the galbi next time I'm here!

We all were questioning what the point of a reservation was if the table wasn't ready when we got there. By the time we were seated it was 10 minutes to last call for the kitchen and cocktail bar, so that was disappointing. Better coordination is needed. Although I understand they were busy, I was not happy. Food came out all at once instead of as listed in the set course on the menu which was super overwhelming. The staff was nice enough to throw in complimentary extras (house made chicken nuggets) due to running out of corn cheese rolls (we had a party of 8, and they had 7 rolls) so very nice of the establishment; and subbed the dessert due to running out of what was listed on the Dine LA menu. I was looking forward to the parfait but that's ok. Drinks were a bit light but still enjoyable. Vibes wise, the place was nicely decorated, we all loved the movie clips on the wall, very intimate vibes. Would I come again? Questionable for the experience I had, maybe another time for second chances

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.

Even when we ordered the food, the server said "that's it?" as if she was offended that we didn't order more food (lower sales?) I'm not sure if we misunderstood her attitude but that's kind of how it felt like. The quality and size went down and it was just... not good. This used to be my #1 spot for cold noodles but our other fav place was closed today so we decided to come here. As you can see, the size of the cold noodles became smaller. Everything was packed in this small bowl which made it harder to eat. I think they changed the noodles they use because it wasn't doing anything texture wise. It used to be chewy and had a good buckwheat flavor. The broth tasted.. like water with a splash of bone broth. The quality of galbi was also a disappointing as I feel like it's became less and the meat was burnt with more fat/chewy bits. The leek pancake was ok but again, comparing it to my picture from January, it was bigger in size and more dough-y. Service was decent previously but it felt a bit cold today. Again, super bummed because we still love this place but I probably won't be ordering their combo again. You can see in my pictures how often we used to order the cold noodles from here and you can compare the quality.
