When I asked for a refund, Joshua, a young male employee, was rude and dismissive--he even referred to me as "girl," which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Stopped by Wildbird for lunch and had mixed feelings. The Pollo Tinga had good flavor but was way too spicy for me and ended up overpowering the dish. They have on menu as in pic guacamole 8 ounces with chips six dollars. I ordered the chips and salsa along with tacos and what's in the picture is a 4 ounce of guacamole I requested. They gave me another 4 ounce container cause that's what's on. The menu is 8 ounces for six dollars not 4 ounces for six dollars they told me they couldn't do that. They don't give refunds for me to call the manager tomorrow. I told him I am going out of town. I will not be here for a time being and the person in there the gentleman flagged me off with his little hand and told me just to leave. Call the manager tomorrow the terminate does not give refunds and they would not give me another 4 ounces of guac. I need to edit my review because I didn't realize this place serves only organic chicken! Because it's organic, the prices are a little higher, but fair for organic chicken. The ladies working there were so nice! My coworkers all said the food was good here so I got a quarter chicken plate with Mexican corn and guacamole and chips. Let me say, the sides were great! They gave me a huge helping of corn. Very generous amount of guacamole and it was really good! I like that the chips were seasoned as well, but there was a lingering taste that I didn't love. Unfortunately, the chicken didn't have much meat on it at especially the leg and thigh area. It looked like I got a lot of chicken, but there wasn't that much meat on the actual bone. I really had to work to get some meat scraps off of there. But now that I know it's organic chicken, that makes sense. The chicken we're accustomed to eating that isn't organically raised is full of growth hormones so that the chickens develop more meat on their bones. Now that I know this place is organic, it makes sense that the chicken didn't have as much meat. The chicken itself is seasoned very well! The salsas that I got were also amazing!! It comes with 2 entrees, 2 large sides, 2 small sides, and chips/guacamole. Everything came hot and fresh, and it was ready fairly quickly so service was cool. I chose the half chicken, chipotle chicken tinga over Spanish rice, Brussels sprouts, Mexican street corn, and charro beans. IT IS A LOT OF FOOD. I am not the biggest fan of the chicken tinga. It's too much sauce on it, and the flavor is not the best but a really nice portion. The half chicken was nicely seasoned, and the size of each piece was good. The sides were just not my type of flavor, I also didn't like the Spanish rice. It was a little gummy, and tasted heavy on the tomatoes. The guac and chips were good though. The wild sauce is pretty spicy was not expecting it to be that spicy I like it just a warning. I ordered it to go. The food overall was flavorful and I would go back.
