Deeeeeelish. First, thanks to Groupon for connecting me with an amazing place to find Hibachi food. This was a real treat for my wife and I, and we will be planning to return next time we make the trek down from the valley. The food quality, flavor, and portions are excellent. 10/10. We had the hibachi rice with the steak and shrimp (my steak was rare temperature), and it was seriously good. The steak was like butter in my mouth. Paired with a great yum yum sauce and a spicy teriyaki, there was a lot to love. The rice was perfectly cooked and had that great hibachi flavor. Since we were using a groupon, we met a very helpful worker from the restaurant at the front to figure out what to order. She was very helpful and steered us right. We will be back for more deliciousness soon. Still dreaming about the steak. One note to anybody who comes in person, like I did: this place is inside a ghost kitchen/virtual food hall. You might have to look for it up and down the street a bit. The signage is a little tough to find if you're driving by, but once you park it's not tough. Took advantage of the BOGO wings special (buy 10, get 10 free) and it's honestly one of the best deals around. I come here often and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The wings are always crispy, well-seasoned, and sauced perfectly -- never soggy. The OMG flavor (pictured) is solid and has a great kick, but my absolute favorite is actually the OG. It's simple, flavorful, and hits every time. Between the quality and the BOGO deal, it's hard to beat. Definitely a go-to spot when I'm craving wings. read more

The service and food presentation and portion size were great; however my fried rice was salty.

Unfortunately, this was a really frustrating experience. I ordered a side of shrimp tempura and veggie fried rice, and both were so overly salty that they were honestly inedible. I was starving and genuinely tried to eat it, but couldn't finish the meal. I even called the restaurant to speak to a manager and see if they could help with a return or store credit, and they were not helpful at all. I crave fried rice probably twice a week, and last night was no different. Except, I wanted hibachi since I haven't found my goto Chinese place! I was going to go to another place, but I decided to put "hibachi" in google maps. It led me to CaliBachi, and I am glad it did!! It's relatively new, but a heavy hitter! It's located on a delivery park type of street, with other food spots that only offer pickup/delivery. I didn't realize that, so be aware of that as you can only order Togo or delivery. Also, parking is scarce. I walked up not knowing the process, but one of the owners was coming out with an order. She was so kind, took my order at the door, and texted me when it was ready! It took typical but maybe less time than usual for hibachi, food came out hot and fresh! I ordered the spicy garlic noodles and the shrimp/chicken plate; plus a brownie. The spicy garlic noodles are okay, but I can't say the taste is my favorite. Which is disappointing because they have the noodle type I like for lo mein, I can never find in LA. Anyway, the plate is plentiful 100%, and well seasoned. Shrimp could've had less of a seafood/fishy taste, but the chicken was good. I would prefer more broccoli to the other veggies. I plan to go back, it's close by so it's my new hibachi spot!! read more

This place never fails me!! Their chicken & steak rice bowls are perfect for sharing (large size). The garlic butter is a MUST to complement the steak & chicken. I personally ask for the steak to be cooked "rare" because in reality they cook it medium well when I ask for it that way. No hate tho, I understand the cooks are doing their thang. I've always ordered delivery and usually the food arrives in a little coco delivery machine (to Koreatown). It arrives hot and packed with care. 10/10 recommend this spot! read more

Walked in to place an order instead of ordering online. The blonde girl that took my order was incredibly nice! Food came out relatively quick, portion was HUGE, and it tasted pretty damn good too. I ordered the Trio with steak, chicken, and shrimp, upgraded my white rice to half fried rice, half noodles and got garlic butter and yum yum sauce. It was delicious, and there was so much protein and veggies on top I couldn't see the rice and noodles until after the first few bites. Great spot! read more

The portions were decent, but could've used additional side of steak, will not be enough to share (somebody's gonna be mad). Food was fresh, hot and all of it tasted great. Visiting LA from NorCal, decided to try this spot based on photos. Similar to Benihana but to go style, and it definitely did not dissapoint. Portions were very generous, and taste was on point.
