Stopped in here for some lunch after I had been shopping in the jewelry theatre. It was convenient cause it was close, about a 4 min walk. Only thing is there is an intense amount of homeless in the area, just heads up. If you're from the area you're familiar with the conditions. The place it self was super clean, bathrooms were as well! They have a kiosk for self order. We tried their bacon cheese burger and it was delicious. We also tried their bacon cheese fries and these were great as well. Overall, I would only stop at this location if I was in the area.

Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Parking will be on the street with meters. Ideal stop for those who are already in downtown. They open early at 10 AM for people that are hustling and bustling in the city. I stopped in for a quick snack. I opted for fries and a freshly made ice cream, which was very satisfying. When I have more time, I generally eat the whole combo. The service is always amazing. About 20 tables inside. Thank you for servicing downtown LA. I appreciate you being here.

I came here mostly because in the Shake Shack app, they offered to give me a FREE hamburger if you spend at least $10. Since everything is pretty pricey already and one hamburger is almost $10, you should always be able to reach that spending limit no matter what you order. I'm surprised most people don't use the coupon codes offered in the app to get some free items. Please do yourself a favor and download it so you can get basically a free entre on top of what you would already order. I got a Shack burger, the free avocado bacon burger (using the promo code on the app at the time of this review), and cheese fries. The total for all three was ~$15 after taxes and promo code, which I think is a good deal. I came in just before 12 PM, so it was relatively empty. My order came in about 5 minutes. Staff were very friendly and professional. It wasn't hectic yet, so maybe that was why, but I am sure the staff were prepping for a busy lunch once it reached 12 PM. The bathrooms have lock codes on them and there is no outside sink just for hand washing. There is a filtered water system and dispense ketchup for public use. The place was clean and quiet before the 12 PM rush hour. Summary: - CLEANLINESS. The inside of the restaurant was clean. There weren't too many people when I came in, so it didn't look crowded or overwhelming. - COSTS. $ Affordable. ~$15 if you use promo codes on the Shake shack app. - CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff was quick, friendly, and professional. - FOOD QUALITY. Way better than McDonalds and other generic fast food chains. - FOOD QUANTITY. Decent portion size. Even better if you get another free hamburger. - WAIT TIME. Five minutes to order two hamburgers and fries. Fast.

I've never really been much of a Shake Shack fan, but when my wife and I were hungry and we were walking right by this location, I figured it was time to give it another shot. We came here around 5PM and the place was pretty busy, but the kitchen was working fast, and the staff up front was very friendly. What drew me in was the advertised Black Truffle Burger so I ordered that, a the sunset lemonade, and we split an order of the french fries. The Sunset Lemonade was a mixture of Strawberry, Lemon Juice, and Orange which tasted pretty solid, though nothing above average. The Black Truffle Burger was the first burger I've ever had from Shake Shack that really did it for me! The Gruyere cheese, crispy sweet onions, black truffle oil, and the potato bun that held it all together was absolutely delicious, while the standard crinkle cut french fries were top notch as well. Overall, Shake Shack finally won me over with this trip and I'll definitely be back in the future. This location is so convenient for me, that as long as they keep these special burgers from making some sporadic appearances, I'll be sure to come back in the future!

Another fine example of a Shake Shack. Though their food isn't my favorite and it's a little over-hyped, I have never walked out saying this meal is terrible. If anything, I just think their price point is $5-$8 too high for the quality of food. Indeed, no burger, fries, and drink combo should cost $22 before tip--even if it is a "specialty" burger or bbq fries, which was just fries dressed with bbq dry rub and a tub of nacho cheese. That was maybe a $15 meal at best, and even then I'd think the burger was on the scrawny side. If it wasn't for the fact it's nearby the Wiltern, where I was seeing a show, I'd have never come here. That's what I think of Shake Shack; okay in a pinch, but not in my top 20 fast food joints.

Cold and even colder fries and onion rings! Yuck!

My bad! Never -Never order fries or onion rings via delivery!!! I have never received a quality product! Arrived ice cold! = in the trash! Bacon Burgers? I'm sure good if hot & fresh, again arrived cold! Not on SS , it's about the delivery app! So $$$ for for not eaten!

Good burgers, surrounding area was OK to walk around. We ordered on the screen and the food came quickly to the table.

Coming in to a last minute job here in downtown this place was close by. This place had good food and great service. The place can use a retouch of decoration but it is fine and clean. I like that they have safety patrol in the building to keep it safe. The burger and fries were great.

    Nasty cheese sauce

Food was shit and basic. way too basic for it to be expensive, especially since they charge separately, burgers drinks and fries are sold separately. they need to lower to price instead of leeching on others to pay for their shitty supplies in food. P.S the cheese tastes like sour milk and it doesnt pull, living off of hopes and dreams.

Believe it or not, I ate fast food. And I wasn't forced to. And I ate it all. It's what I ate before attending a show across the street at The Wiltern. Walked in and ordered via an electronic device or kiosk station. It's where you also grab a number and then find a seat and your order is brought out to you. If you're with others, have them find seating while you place the order. I saw others standing and eating because there's not a lot of places to sit. I can't really comment on the service as I didn't have human interaction other than my order being brought to my table. Not that I needed it - just mentioning it in case you know me and you think I'm getting old and forgetting to mention service. As for the food - for me, high prices for small portion size. $20 for a burger, fries and a drink. See pics. I had hoped that because of the locations and Asians can handle heat - that my order would at least give me a tingle in that department. It didn't. The burger or the fries. Flavor was ok but I wanted to at least feel some semblance of heat - but there was none. I know I've been to a Shake Shack before. I recall feeling the same way back then as I do now. It's ok. But remember, I don't really eat fast food. So, go and enjoy if you do.

Being my first order, I decided to go with the double Cheeseburger, Strawberry Milkshake, and Tater Tots. I loved all of them! The Double Cheeseburger was prepared neatly and it tasted pretty good! I was pleasantly surprised. I am not vegan but I can vouch and say it did scratch the itch of my cravings for a burger which most likely would have been super thick and heavy. I can't say this is just like an actual real burger because it's not and definitely has a different flavor. But his is the best vegan burger place I've tried yet and I would order again! Their house sauce is similar to In-n-out. I appreciate they include pickles in the burger providing the crunch factor. The cheese on my burger was spectacular on the burger, super gooey and melt in your mouth-wow! The strawberry milkshake was super good! Creamy, thick, a lot of strawberry, and loved the whipped cream with the sprinkles! This actually tasted like a regular milkshake! I wouldn't have known this was vegan at all. Tator Tots were perfection. Crunchy and cooked well! Yum! Overall, I get the hype of Monty's especially for the vegans. Their overall menu is pretty well-rounded with unique choices which I respect instead of just copying the fast-food chains. I do have to say I think the price should be marked down a dollar or three to make this my go-to. If I'm in the mood/ in the area, I would definitely get my same order again and try the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich or the tenders!

It's pricy, but the food has been consistently delicious with each visit. I miss their onion aioli sauce! I remember it being really popular around the first time I tried Monty's. My go to order as of late is a burger with a single patty (double if I'm extra hungry), their tots w/honey mustard or the house sauce, and the Travis Oat Matcha Shake. By no means authentic matcha, but it's a super thick shake that compliments this franchise's flavor profile. Where I find myself awestruck is how tasty a plant-based burger could be. Just about as savory, but equally filling and satisfying! The staff in both the Culver and Echo Park locations are wonderful. In my experience, the employees are patient with new patrons and really great with asking follow up questions to get a feel of what you're looking to try. Interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a classic burger shop. Not too big, cozy, but with a pop of color on the walls with a good amount of artwork around. Next time I'm in the area having a bad day, I'll stop by for tots & a shake to brighten my mood.

One situation stood out--there was a customer trying to order in Spanish, and the cashier couldn't understand him. Meanwhile, other staff behind the counter were speaking Spanish to each other but didn't step in to help. Another customer who was waiting for their food ended up translating just so the order could go through. That shouldn't happen. When it was my turn, I tried to be patient. I downloaded the Tommy's app since there was a sign posted right at the register and asked if she needed my barcode--she seemed confused. I ordered a triple cheeseburger, and she repeated something completely different back to me. I had to slowly repeat myself several times and was still told to "wait" again.
