It's opened 24/7, that's one of the bonuses of this place and it's located close to some bars and other late night ventures in Los Angeles. We were heading back from the Grayson and wanted a quick bite to eat. Ordered from the app for drive thru pick up. Not sure if it was on the worker's side or the food ordering speaker was messed up, the menu did look like an Eldritch horror, but we had to repeat our order code several times. We were told to go to the next window. We get to the next window and it's a window to the actual restaurant and not part of the kitchen. I have never seen this at a McDonald's before. Usually the first window is to pay or to get your receipt, second window is to get your order, and if it's super busy there's a small pull up area where they may walk out your food. But no, second window was just a window to the restaurant. We pulled up too far and instead of letting us just walk back and pick up the food, or just bring the food to us in the parking spot, I guess this is for safety of the workers since it was really late at night and there's transients around, but we had to just weirdly reverse and bring our car back into the drive thru line, much to the ire of the other customers. Not a great experience. Lady working there was also tapping her fingers and obviously very impatient. If you were a bit more clear with your instructions it wouldn't have led to this. If i could give this mcdonald's zero stars i would. Came here after a long flight, and it took over an hour just to get our food. Got our order wrong twice, we asked for sauce maybe 4 or 5 times and they still did not give it us. On top of that, the workers are not very helpful or apologetic about the 1 hour it took to get a HAPPY MEAL. I ordered through the McDonald's App and found it's faster than drive thru! They had it made correctly and all I had to do was to walk in, as they called my name. Something to watch out for however is the entrance to the inside must pass through the drive-thru line, with handrails preventing you to go any other way. There is a lot of parking for a store of this size and even has a single parking space for those that don't want door dings. Inside the store, there is not much dining room, so plan to take-out or eat fast, as it loads up pretty quickly. read more

Gave us the wrong drink and when I called the location for a refund or some type of reinbursement they hung up the phone on me as I was asking the question. Then got referred to another lady who could not speak english. Horrible customer service, no one could actually understand me, this is unbelievable as a huge chain. They could give me 4 butters, no straws, no muffin for my deluxe breakfast, messed up my drinks, and then also hung up on me. I stopped in to use the restroom. I picked up an apple lattice pie for Hubby and a strawberry and cream cheese pie for myself. Added a large sweet tea. Good sweet tea is just hard to come by these days. This location is clean and they were working hard to take care of the customers. The lobby wasn't that big. The music playing was inviting. This McDonald's was the worst thing I've ever been to. I'd never recommend coming here when going to the drive-through there was no one responding back for about 10 minutes. I drove to the second window, where he finally acknowledged me. No one should wait over 20 minutes for an order that was places ahead of time. I needed to work on my laptop for a few hours while in DTLA, but all the coffee shops nearby didn't have easy parking. I came to McDonald's that is always guaranteed to have free wifi. While I was here, I saw them clean the tables and chairs multiple times. The space was always sanitized and my food was quick. I got the McRib ($4.99) before it ran out. To be honest, I don't get the hype for the McRib, but McDonald's is consistent. Since I used the app, I also got free fries, which I can't complain about. This location also has a security who was good about kicking someone out who was being suspicious. read more

My apologies to everyone behind us in the drive through line. I don't think any of us will ever forget this drive through experience. This happened a bit ago, and have been meaning to post this for a while now. A large group of us out went to Two Bit Circus and then a bar. Four of us were starving, and being late night McDonald's was our best option. There of course was a long line of cars. I was driving, my boyfriend in the passenger seat and three friends in the back. We knew what we wanted, should have been a super simple transaction...but this is what will forever live in infamy: Pull up to the Drive Through menu speaker box: McDonald's lady: "Can I take your order?" Me: "Yes, we'd like Two Big Mac meals with a Diet Coke, One Quarter Pounder with just fries, One 20 piece chicken nuggets meal a Diet Coke." Lady: "Ok, you have Two McCrispy chicken sandwiches, Quarter Pounder meal with a Diet Coke and a McDouble meal with a coke." Me: "No that's not right." "Two Big Mac meals with a Diet Coke, One Quarter Pounder with just fries, One 20 piece chicken nuggets meal a Diet Coke." Me: "Thank you" Everyone in the car including me: Crying laughing. Me: Thinking is must be where someone comes out saying we're being pranked. I'm literally looking around for cameras. Manager comes to the window: "What do you want to order?" Me: A little disappointed it's not Jimmy Kimmel, and also a bit shocked this is real. Repeats order. Manager: "So you want the Chicken nuggets deal?" Me: "If that fits our order and is cheaper sure." My Mistake. Manager: "So you have Two Big Mac meals one with a Diet Coke one with a Coke, an order of fries, Two 20 piece chicken nuggets meal a Diet Coke." Me: Crying laughing at this point.
