I usually come to this McDonald's since it's close to my work. Food is on par with other McDonald. Service is also about the same. Inside of the restaurant could be hit and miss. I see some people dosing off inside sometime. Personally I would not dine in here.

I stopped in to use the restroom. I picked up an apple lattice pie for Hubby and a strawberry and cream cheese pie for myself. Added a large sweet tea. Good sweet tea is just hard to come by these days. This location is clean and they were working hard to take care of the customers. The lobby wasn't that big. The music playing was inviting. Kiosk's located right near the register so the crew can provide help if needed. Confidently located near downtown Los Angeles.

They charge for bags if you order to go.

Never in my lifetime would I see the day that McNOBAG McDonald's would be charging to put your food in a to go bag. What balls this place has. And the App does not notify that you need to pay for that bag. Never again.!!!!! BRING OUR OWN BAG!

Worst drive true experience waited to move from their speaker to 13 min and just to start the regular line with 5 just 5 cars 5 cars in front of me,,I'm still here 2 feet's away from starting point

Security guard blocking the entrance to go I. When it's 5:50 PM when it clearly states they closed the dining room area at 6:00 pm
    Silvia R.

This is based only on the fact that the rude security guard was blocking the entrance to the McDonald's at 5:50 pm when it clearly states that the dining room area closes at 6:00 pm. First off why have service hours if you aren't going to honor them. Secondly, the security guard doesn't have to be rude or condescending when talking to customers.

Being my first order, I decided to go with the double Cheeseburger, Strawberry Milkshake, and Tater Tots. I loved all of them! The Double Cheeseburger was prepared neatly and it tasted pretty good! I was pleasantly surprised. I am not vegan but I can vouch and say it did scratch the itch of my cravings for a burger which most likely would have been super thick and heavy. I can't say this is just like an actual real burger because it's not and definitely has a different flavor. But his is the best vegan burger place I've tried yet and I would order again! Their house sauce is similar to In-n-out. I appreciate they include pickles in the burger providing the crunch factor. The cheese on my burger was spectacular on the burger, super gooey and melt in your mouth-wow! The strawberry milkshake was super good! Creamy, thick, a lot of strawberry, and loved the whipped cream with the sprinkles! This actually tasted like a regular milkshake! I wouldn't have known this was vegan at all. Tator Tots were perfection. Crunchy and cooked well! Yum! Overall, I get the hype of Monty's especially for the vegans. Their overall menu is pretty well-rounded with unique choices which I respect instead of just copying the fast-food chains. I do have to say I think the price should be marked down a dollar or three to make this my go-to. If I'm in the mood/ in the area, I would definitely get my same order again and try the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich or the tenders!

It's pricy, but the food has been consistently delicious with each visit. I miss their onion aioli sauce! I remember it being really popular around the first time I tried Monty's. My go to order as of late is a burger with a single patty (double if I'm extra hungry), their tots w/honey mustard or the house sauce, and the Travis Oat Matcha Shake. By no means authentic matcha, but it's a super thick shake that compliments this franchise's flavor profile. Where I find myself awestruck is how tasty a plant-based burger could be. Just about as savory, but equally filling and satisfying! The staff in both the Culver and Echo Park locations are wonderful. In my experience, the employees are patient with new patrons and really great with asking follow up questions to get a feel of what you're looking to try. Interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a classic burger shop. Not too big, cozy, but with a pop of color on the walls with a good amount of artwork around. Next time I'm in the area having a bad day, I'll stop by for tots & a shake to brighten my mood.

There's usually a line, but it's only ever long on game days and special sales events. The food is quite good, and there's plenty of shelf-like tables around the primary parking lot to make grabbing a space not too difficult on a "regular" night. The only real issue is that it's gotten quite expensive (like pretty much all fast food joints since 2020. Orders were getting mixed up, people had to repeat themselves multiple times, and she kept telling customers to "wait" before even letting them speak. One situation stood out--there was a customer trying to order in Spanish, and the cashier couldn't understand him. Meanwhile, other staff behind the counter were speaking Spanish to each other but didn't step in to help. Another customer who was waiting for their food ended up translating just so the order could go through. That shouldn't happen. When it was my turn, I tried to be patient. I downloaded the Tommy's app since there was a sign posted right at the register and asked if she needed my barcode--she seemed confused. I ordered a triple cheeseburger, and she repeated something completely different back to me. I had to slowly repeat myself several times and was still told to "wait" again. Maybe she was new or overwhelmed, but with that many staff behind the counter, someone should have stepped in to help. The lack of coordination made the whole experience frustrating. Food is what you expect, but the service alone made this a bad experience.

The difference between the two locations was night and day. Even though it was Mother's Day and busy everywhere, Boyle Heights was organized, fast, friendly, and fully stocked. There was plenty of parking, the line moved quickly, and the employees were courteous and professional from the moment we arrived. Most importantly! THEY HAD EVERYTHING. Fresh biscuits? Yes. Fully stocked menu? Yes. Good customer service? Absolutely. The biscuits were fresh, hot, buttery, and delicious, exactly how I remembered Pioneer Chicken growing up in Los Angeles. We honestly ate them on the drive home because they were THAT good. You could immediately feel the better energy and management at this location. People were constantly coming in and out, yet the staff still handled things efficiently and professionally. As someone born and raised in LA, Pioneer Chicken is nostalgic for me, and this Boyle Heights location felt much closer to the Pioneer I remember. I will definitely return to this location again. Thank you to the Boyle Heights staff for saving Mother's Day dinner. The burgers here are always so fresh, hot, and satisfying. One thing people should know is that there are off-menu customizations, and that is the best way to order if you already know what you like. I never do the regular double because it is just not enough for me. I usually order two 3x3 burgers. One I get with no onion, and the second I do even simpler with no onion, no lettuce, and no tomato, so it is basically just the bun, cheese, and three patties. I always ask for extra spread too because that is a must. Usually I get two spreads per burger and one extra for the fries, so my full meal comes with five spreads and I use every single one. What also makes this location stand out is how well they handle the crowds. It is always busy, but they have so many employees working that the line keeps moving fast and the whole place stays organized. Even when it looks packed, service is efficient and seating usually works out fine if you just pay attention and grab a table as people leave. For such a high-volume location, they do a really good job keeping things moving. Love In-N-Out, always will, and this Hollywood location is the one I keep coming back to. Easy 5 stars.

If you love fried chicken, you cannot go wrong eating here. The service i have mixed opinions. Most all of the employees are friendly. Maybe too friendly. Part of the reason for their long line would be the talkative cashiers. There is a way to chat up the customer while still keeping things moving along, but I've not seen it once while there; the chicken is that good that I put up with my least favorite thing at a restaurant--unnecessary conversation that adds to the wait time. The ambiance is also not my favorite. It's too loud in there. The music could be a touch lower--I'm there to eat, not be at the club--and the top notch cooks in the back yell a lot. I will say that the yelling appears to keep them upbeat, positive, and motivated; I see the value in it, yet it's the reason I get delicious chicken to go. They have a clean bathroom, a parking lot in back, and some of the best chicken in the Greater Los Angeles area. My mouth waters when I even begin to think about going there. Also, I believe the times to avoid the long waits would be weekdays until about 3 PM ish.
