GREAT SOURDOUGH JACKS! I was literally starving when I happened upon this Jack in the Box. I ordered a couple of sourdough jacks, a hashbrown patty, and a drink. I'll always appreciate Jack for having late night breakfast! Everything tasted extra yummy. The dining area was closed so I had to opt for the drive-thru. Overall, the service was solid and the order was provided quickly. I'd recommend taking a friend at night as the surrounding area is a little shady. However, once in the property I felt safe! read more

I always order from this jack , I always have missing items and never complain , and always go back , but tonight it was a Horrible experience customer service was really bad , I was in the drive through and was ordering and the employee taking my order was being really rude , I was ordering and she kept saying they didn't have anything of what I was ordering , then she said hurry up and order , but what would I order if she was saying they didn't have anything I wanted to order , which was 3 jumbo jacks combo & 3 orders of jalapeño poppers I ended up getting 1 munchies meal only since I was already all stress out , I get home to this ..... like are you serious I work in a restaurant and let me tell you I don't treat customers this way. Someone forgot to place my sandwich in my bag when I got home I noticed. I called the number on the receipt and spoke to Jessica. She apologized for the mistake and asked me to come back and they'll make a fresh one for me. I came around and I asked to get my sandwich upgraded and they did just that. I was hungry and a little upset but now I'm happy and full. Be kind. Thank you Jack in the Box crew for a wonderful experience. Food was okay but kind of messy. Just thrown together. The cook forgot to make a portion of our order which delayed our meal by about 20 minutes while everyone else picked up their food. The front end girl was nice and apologetic but it wasn't here fault. The ambiance, well the doors were locked and the guests had to keep opening the doors for other guests. And the front end girl kept buzzing others into the bathrooms. I guess this is all expected given the location. Parking was readily accessible, and the lobby was clean. Okay , so I don't know what changes they made or maybe the service has been better this time . as in consistent in the DT although sometimes it could take a little bit longer but it's understandable because of the volume they have on the weekends. The service great ( the night crew ) very friendly as in ! By far the most inconsistent Jack in Box. Every time I order from this place they always get my order wrong. Plus they have the most slow drive through services ever. Every time I ask for a receipt they always tell me it's not working. The only reason I got to this spot cuz it's the only one that's close to my house. Zero stars, it takes them 10 minutes to acknowledge you, there was a couple in front of me senior Asians and who knows how long they were there standing but no one came or even acknowledge them so they ended up leaving, it was my turn to order but like I said it took them 10 minutes to come take my order, I am on a 30 minute break so by the time I got my food I only had 5 minutes left for my break to be over. The young lady taking the drive-thru orders took like 4 before someone came to take mine. I've worked in the restaurant industry for many yrs so I'm going to give you advice, always greet you customers with a smile and not a face that looks like you don't want to be there. This is the worst drive thru service ever. We came to get some food after the dodger game and couldn't hear anyone on the drive through speaker so kept saying "Hello". Then a worker literally started talking shit to me. I tried to explain I didn't hear anyone but saw there was a line so I was just checking if they were closed. I tried ordering a FanFav Box as listed in their drive thru and they acknowledged me at the speaker. Once I got to the window, my other order and some pancakes was in my bag. No box, just pancakes and the things I ordered along with it. They were rushing me in a barely filled drive thru lane and couldn't hear me when I was like 4 feet away from their face. I used the kiosk to order for the first time and I think it's a good idea. If you use ATMs and pump your own gas, you can order your own burger the way you want it. The payoff is skipping the line to order at the counter. You get your order faster and it is accurate as long as you pushed the right buttons. read more

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.

My favorite is the orange/peach colored sauce that has a good spicy kick to it. It always hit the spot and it burns sooo good (if you enjoy spicy food and flavor). The horchata is delicious too. Very good pricing ($2.5 per taco and $3 for a medium sized horchata). Bring cash. They also accept zelle or card (for an additional fee). I keep coming back here so of course I would definitely recommend!

I've never found a mexican spot that does this, not to mention the food is so fresh and so delicious. I call it a baby burrito but what you'll want to order is the 1/2 pound Mar y Tierra burrito, lol. I'm not sure if they do 1/2 pound with all burritos but I will ask & update this review next time I go back which will be very soon as it's my new go-to Mexican spot in West LA. I also got the shrimp taco which was spectacular. The guy at the front is super kind, and the ambiance is calm. The salsa that comes with your food is incredible and I can taste the freshness. On my can't-miss list!

Everything came out to about $26 which is super reasonable! Service on a later end of the night was great! Super friendly and quick service. No indoor dining was available since they were closing in 15 mins. Food was ready in less than 10 mins. Salsa is free which both were delicious and had great flavor. Overall the food was delicious! It hit the spot. Filled with meat and the tortillas were a hit on their own. I would definitely go back again and try the other items that they had to offer.

It's a cool casual vibe here. Seating inside as well as the patio. They have tasty looking horchata and other agua frescas. Colorful walls. They bring your food out to you by calling your name. The tacos were loaded with a pretty decent amount of meat and toppings. But sadly we were far from impressed by the flavor. The asada was okay and better than the tripa, but it paled in comparison to our go-to taco trucks in the area which only costs $1. And the tripa was strange to eat in taco form. The tripa is crunchy small pieces so it just feels odd to eat in a taco. Maybe if it was just served as an appetizer to eat by itself, but even then, it kinda just feels like you're eating pellets. Don't see the hype unfortunately.
