Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I was craving for sandwiches and found this place with great reviews. I asked for the most popular menu and I picked Italian sub. Sandwich was pretty packed and made me full. I don't really like the bread though. It was a bit chwey. I usually eat French dip or the ones with sauces so this one is a bit dry for me but it has good value and fresh meat. I would repeat and try other sandwiches.

Pulled up to DTLA and had to grab myself a sandwich at this little spot. Got a Reuben sandwich, the pastrami was on a different level, real quality. The sandwich overall didn't need that sauerkraut in my opinion, it had a sweet taste that to me wasn't very necessary. I would be back though, you can taste the quality in the ingredients and the pastrami was some of the best I've had. Reuben sandwich: 8.1

I stopped by Mike's Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I'm glad I did! While the store itself isn't flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches. The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike's Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor. Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too. It's an d-school, simple deli that doesn't stand out cosmetically, but it's clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.

First time going to this location. Plenty of chips and drink options. Super quick and friendly service. A few tables to sit at, and outside patio. Same quality sandwich, one of the best in LA. The other location has onion rings and fries, not sure that this one does.

Was in Little Tokyo and craving an Italian sub, so I decided to stop by this deli that seems to be known for its sandwiches. It's a quaint little deli, with a couple of counter seats and some outdoor tables for eating. Bit of a mom and pop new york shop vibe, and the owners are very polite and friendly. I got the Italian submariner sandwich. Everything was pretty fresh and tasty, and there was plenty of mayo to keep the sandwich nice and moist. The bread was nice as well, soft with just a bit of a crust. Simple but executed well, with a price that won't break the bank.

This is a hole in the wall for one of the best sandwiches in DTLA. A classic spot. A huge menu. Nothing will disappoint! I recommend the club, it's simple but super fresh and delicious. Always my go to! Service is quick and easy too. My mouth is watering by just typing this review. Maybe I'll go tomorrow...

Great service, the place was a quiet when we came in. They had a great selection of sandwiches, drinks and chip options. There is some seating we opted to take it to go. The sandwiches were big and Absolutely Delicious! I would recommend mikes deli any time you're in LA its 5 minute drive the Broad.

The hot Wisconsin gentleman was fire! Chipotle mayo on it was amazing and spicy! I will get that again and again. The pastrami was really good as well. Fresh made sandwiches and from what I gathered they are always busy but the lady up front was quick and we got out sandwiches fairly quickly. I will go back when in DTLA.

I was in the area craving an Italian sandwich. This place was Great couldn't complain. The price of the sandwich was well worth it. They only have one size sandwich but it was perfect. The line was big but that's expected because I went during lunch hour. The wait didn't seem too long.

    Sooooo good!! Yummy

Unfortunately since I didn't see what the #19 looked like before I ordered; I believe it definitely jaded me. First off, the location is terrible. Look it's probably me, but it felt dangerous. I guess I am not used to places like that. Just everything made me feel uneasy while walking to Langer's. I read that the owner is talking to the mayor to address things.... In any case, I got in, got out and took my #19 to another location. I opened it up and it didn't look like any NYC pastrami sandwich I have ever seen. I guess this is the way it used to be before the NYC sandwiches started getting ridiculously huge? I took a bite and I did like the crusty rye bread. Unlike a lot of NYC places where the bread is just to hold the meat, this one was toasty and tasty. However when I ate this sandwich, the coleslaw and Russian dressing dominated the taste. Was it good? Yes. Was it the "one" sandwich to eat if you are in Los Angeles? I don't think so. I guess we are so jaded with huge pastrami or fancy new sandwiches that this just seems so underwhelming. Add to the hyperbole about it being THE ONE to get and it just falls flat in the comparison. It's a good sandwich and if I ate for the last 30 years, I'd probably feel the hype was justified.

I love pickles. I eat pickles twice a week all over the country. in fact all over the world I've had pickles. These were the worst I've ever had. Sandwich was massive, however, it was mostly lettuce. Didn't notice from the pictures that the sandwiches aren't very balanced between meats and veggies. It's my personal preference for some more balance or flavor in a sandwich, peppers/onions/seasonings. Honestly, Jersey Mike's seasons their veggies better. I will say the bread at this deli was a notch above Jersey Mike's which is definitely a plus as good bread can make or break a sandwich. Mozzarella sticks were great, although they were normal sticks nothing out of the ordinary but I've definitely had worse sticks (looking at you Prince St Pizza...) so I'd recommend them if fried cheese is your jam! Service counter young lady was nice, she was quick and helpful with her suggestions. Small store, kind of looks like a convenience store and then the deli counter is on the right of the entrance and cashier is in the back. Easy ordering process. Parking is in the back, limited spaces. No inside seating available from what I saw, just counter to order and that's it. Grab and go type of spot for sure. Place was OK - if I lived closer, I would think it's an ok spot to come more often but I would not go out of my way to come.
