Juicy, flavorful and paired with a fluffy bun. While it does take some time for the food to be prepared, all the food comes out fresh and hot so it's well worth the wait! There's outdoor seating available so can't really say too much about interior design since I didn't go inside anywhere. Overall, just come here for burgers that 1. Won't make your wallet cry and 2. Stopped by in the evening with a group and ordered a double boss burger. The employee was attentive and let us know a triple patty is pretty hefty. Seating on the benches outside is pleasant, they were clean and had umbrellas. Boss burger (5/5): I was hungry and this burger was amazing. The blue cheese was really balanced and added a wonderful flavor to the burger. A double was perfect for me. The onion marmalade was also a good pairing- well balanced and not sharp or acrid. Sooo good and a little saucy. Pineapple Margarita slushy (5/5): My friends tried this and we all agreed it was good, just know it's on the strong side. Great icy consistency too. Don't chug it onion rings were decent as well. Overall the burgers really smack, the price is nice, and service is streamlined with decent outdoor sidewalk seating. Is Glory Burger a hole in the wall? Quite literally, kinda. Did everyone say it's good? Yes definitely, and I would frequent again. Somewhere in DTLA where you can get good, fast, and reasonably priced food? GLORY BURGER! My wife has been telling me about this place for a few weeks so we finally walked over and I don't at all regret giving this place a shot. Glory Burger isn't a restaurant, it's a window with some tables and that's pretty cool to me. The menu here isn't huge, but like, it's burger spot so it doesn't even need to be. I ordered the backyard burger which comes with candied bacon, smoked gouda cheese, onion rings, and some BBQ sauce as well as splitting sides of french fries and onion rings (different than the ones on the burger). The food didn't take too long to come out and it was all fresh and hot when it was served. The onion rings were simple shoestring fries, the onion rings were the beer battered variety which I like, and the backyard burger was pretty dang tasty if you ask me. The real highlight of this review here is the pricing. The burger was like $5.80 and each of the sides were only $3.95 and that's pretty good these days, even cheaper then a fast food meal. Overall, Glory Burger better be here to stay! The food was great, the staff was good, and it's nice to just order from a window and sit outside sometimes. I came here for the first time around 9:30pm on 8/13. My review was based on the customer service provided, by the lady working register window around this time I provided. She was extremely rude, not helpful at all when asked about menu items, or margarita flavors. My friends have some food allergies, so I was just asking 2 questions to make sure my friends wouldn't die???? IM SORRY. When asked abut the margarita flavors, she rolled her eyes at me & pointed to the margarita machines behind her that displayed the names. Again, my first time here, I didnt know what to look out for otherwise I wouldn't have asked abut the flavors, rather than look. Our order for 3 burgers & 3 fries took about 20 minutes, there was nobody in front of us waiting on an order so we would've been called up first. However, we sat there waiting for some type of signal our order was ready, but we noticed 3 people that ordered after us, all got their NAMES called. She didnt ask for our names, but we were sat at the pink tables in front of the call window so she could've shouted, looked our way, or something but she chose not to. I came up to the window, she just hands all 3 bags to me, before id even got a word out. Which means she saw us sitting there waiting, chose not to notify us, & waited for us to come to her. I hate to be the one that goes"oh, I'm also in the service industry and would never treat a customer this way" but that's really the reality of it. I would never treat my customers this way being that I am in fact in the service industry I always provide as much information about our menu, even if the menu is right in front of them and they wanna ask me a bunch of questions regarding the menu I will happily answer it for them. First time at Glory Burger. It's just a windows with 3 picnic benches and 1 cafe table. The ambiance is DTLA streets. I ordered a double Cheese Burger no onion, my friend got a Backyard Burger and my other friend got a double Glory Burger. Between the 3 of us we got regular fries and Sweet potato fries. The burgers were all good. I would recommend making it a double since the bun is a bit bigger than the burger. The bun is really good! Between the fries and Sweet potato fries I would go Sweet Potato next time. The regular fries are thin fries with seasoned salt and although not bad, a bit salty. We had a bit of a incident. There was a burger mix up with one of my friends' food and some other customer. She ordered before me and 5 other people but everyone else got their food before her. They eventually called her name and handed her a bag of food, but when she took a bite of her burger it wasn' what she ordered. She was disappointed because she waited so long and her food was given to someone else, but she went up to the counter and let them know and they made her another one. It definitely wasn't the best burger. It was very dry. The grilled onions were lightly grilled and still had a slight raw taste to it. Ordered a cheeseburger and it was really hard to find the cheese. Not sure if it was just a 1/2 slice or a sauce, but there was not really a cheese flavor. This IS a hole in the wall ordering location. There are 3 picnic tables with umbrellas outside on the sidewalk that you can sit and enjoy your food. Service was fine, not real issues. I ordered Glory Burger on Grubhub for lunch because I've driven past their location so many times and have been told it was really good. I ordered the Backyard Burger and a side of fries. When it showed up, the packing was kinda meh; everything was just smashed into the white Glory Burger bag, so it didn't look super appetizing right out of the gate. The burger itself was solid and had great flavor. The brioche bun was complimented this burger so well; soft, a little sweet, and held together perfectly. I had ordered a double, so the patties were somewhere between juicy and dry, so right in that "eh, but still tasty" zone. Flavor was solid, just nothing wildly different from other bbq burgers I've had. Almost to the point that I really couldn't tell the difference. The fries were your classic shoestring style with some seasoning. Totally fine, nothing that's gonna change your life, but they worked well with the burger. Size-wise, the burger is a little small, but for the price, it's a fair deal and still filling. I'd come back (or order again) just to try some of the other burgers on the menu. Ordering via Yelp/GrubHub the Backyard Burger is $7.50 and sweet potato fries are $6.85 !!!! That's $5.00 more. Yelp/GrubHub just "stole" your soda money, or your second fries, or the server's tip money. Is it the best burger you ever ate? Of course not! It's a $5 burger (or $8 if you ignored me and still ordered through Yelp/GrubHub). But it IS a pretty damn good burger, and it certainly satisfied me. The sweet potato fries were also very good. Not super crispy (which is how I prefer them, but I overlooked the option to request them extra crispy), but they were NOT soggy, and only lightly seasoned, so they were still great. I ate over half the bag on my walk back to the office, so no, that is not "all the fries" you get. I did get just two ketchup packets (as others have noted) but I didn't even need them. The fries tasted great without ketchup. (I actually checked "No utensils or condiments" but they put them in anyway.) Again, not haute cuisine, but for $10 you cannot go wrong. Fresh, hot food, served with pride for a more than fair price. My meal more than survived my commute and was still very warm despite a couple stops. The onion rings were battered thick, and packed in plentiful, top tier imo. I opted for the single cheeseburger and was very happy with the burger overall: nice bun to filling ratio, lovely burger sauce, smokey carmelized onions, melty cheese, crunchy pickles, perfection. Avoid this place at all costs. I wish I had taken the earlier reviews seriously - because they were right. I made the mistake of ignoring them, and I paid the price. Literally. When people say they were overcharged or lied to by this place, believe them. This is one of the most blatant scams I've experienced in LA. The only other place where I've been scammed like this before was some dumpy Mexican restaurant near USC when I was in grad school. A few weeks ago, I came here with a group of 5 friends. We'd all been curious for a while and finally decided to give it a shot one Thursday evening. The vibe seemed chill at first. We ordered food and drinks at the window and waited at patiently for our food. Five minutes passed. Then ten. Then fifteen. When I asked (politely) what was up, one the person at the window got weirdly hostile and accused me of "kissing my friends' white asses" - their words, not mine. (for context, I'm Mexican) Totally uncalled for. We were stunned, but decided to wait it out since we'd already paid. While waiting, the staff openly mocked us - loud enough for us to hear, even through the window. Not even subtle. Just juvenile and mean-spirited. Finally, after about 30 minutes - with literally no other customers waiting - we got our food and drinks. I paid the tab for the group. The bill came out to around $105, and I left $130 to cover everything, with tip. Next week, I check my credit card statement and see a charge for $310. No explanation, no justification - just fraud. I called the bar and spoke to a manager (a woman named Stephanie, I believe). She seemed confused and passed me off to her "boss" Anat, who never once returned my calls despite leaving multiple voicemails. In the end, I had to go through my credit card company and file a dispute. Two weeks later, the charge was reversed - because, surprise, the business couldn't provide a signed receipt or authorization. This place is sketchy. Rude staff. Mediocre burgers and margaritas. Fraudulent billing. And they play games when you try to get your money back. Stay away. Not worth the risk. An absolute nightmare! read more

Delicious and budget-friendly food near the theaters. I was surprised that 2 burgers, fries, and a soda was only $20, especially downtown. The food came out quickly and was tasty. Since it wasn't that crowded we were able to eat at one of the few picnic tables. Note that it is just a window, so there is no inside or restroom.
