Wow. We were here for seven days, and we wish we found out about this place sooner. We came here on the seventh day and it was absolutely phenomenal. They have a live Dj, a guy who does tastings, a huge TV, a stunning view of the city, unbelievable drinks, and food, and an amazing staff, and Photo Booth. You literally could not ask for a better place. Not to mention a vibrant vibe of seating. And a nice bar seating arrangement. Overall, this place was top-notch. 10 times better than perch, the Restaurant and I really hope that this becomes popular over the years it opened around a year ago. Devon, the hospitality Director was absolutely amazing and we were so happy to have her as our waitress. We hope to do some events with our company here soon as it truly blew our expectations!!

This spot might be a little hard to find but there's a sign outside that kinda helps to locate it and Tik Tok videos as well but this a nice spot with good vibes. I had a Mezcal drink that was alight and the Lamb Sausage pizza that was way better than I thought it was going to be

I came here two times in two weeks and had the best time both times. I came with my girls after brunch for a little drink. The spot was empty, but we were greeted by staff and instructed to seat where we wanted to. The view is lovely on a sunny day. We all ordered dirty martinis, and they were by far the best in the city. Vladimir, the bartender makes one of the best if not the best martini I have ever had. My friends and I were super impressed. We'll definitely come back here for the drinks. We also came back a few weeks after for a party. And had an amazing time and the martinis were still hitting. The cocktail program overall is amazing. Shout out to all the bartenders they are super nice and friendly.

Love the music and the vibe here. It's never overly crowded, but it's also never so slow that it feels boring--there's always a good energy. That said, I feel like if they added one or two waiters, the bar would probably make a lot more money. I noticed several people trying to order drinks through the busser, and once they realized it was bar-ordering only, they didn't bother going up to get another round. The drinks are really good overall. The first time I went, though, they were extremely sweet and not strong at all--we didn't even finish them and ended up leaving. The second time was much better, but I ordered wine, so that may have made the difference. The bartender wasn't very friendly, but it was busy, so that could have been why. On a positive note, the security staff was really cool. Overall, it's a fun spot with great music and atmosphere--I'd go back for the vibe.

A beautiful rooftop bar with an intimate feel, perfect for a date or a night out with friends. Service was warm and welcoming and they have some interesting cocktails. Bonus points for the $8 photo booth. There is metered street parking, but the nearest lot charges $12 if you'd rather not deal with finding parking.

Beautiful views and awesome fun. Definitely needs some more vodka choices. I love that it is a hidden spot. The flower power sign makes it fun to find. Security is always nice and we feel safe. Parking is scarce. You park in the lot where the address tells you to go. Then look straight ahead for the building in the alley with the flower power lit up on the window. You show your ID, go up the elevator and arrive to the floor. Everyone we meet here are always so friendly. We always have a good time here. Not sure why it only says one check in. Sometimes Yelp doesn't pick up my CHECK INs. There was no wait time however the place is packed. We came here the first week it opened and again last week. Ambiance: this trendy rooftop bar is located in a hidden building in a narrow alley, once you walk through the parking lot, you'll see a security guy checking IDs, then that's the entrance of the elevator to the 8th floor, cool vibes with very loud music, overpacked and people bump into you easily, quite a few smokers around, and by California law they weren't supposed to smoke in the public rooftop bar, and there's no sign for designated smoking area and no staff to stop them Service: slow and disorganized, you'll need to place your order at arch shape bar table, and there's no clear lines, and bartenders would just pick up people randomly with no orders Drink: simple menu items with few specialties Persephone - *** Flor de Caña 4 yr rum, pomegranate, grapefruit, lime, egg white, lemon twist, very sweet drink Spicy Yuzu Mezcal - ** mezcal, yuzu, jalapeno, chamomile, activated charcoal, tajin rim, overly salty taste Price: overpriced for the drink quality, honestly not worth $25+ per drink, including tax and tip, although it's unfortunately the downtown price. Overall, I don't think it's worth it here, there are a lot other rooftop bars with way much better night views and drinks at similar or cheaper price point in downtown

What I'm awesome experience we actually met a guy who works there and told us about that establishment. The customer service the ambience and the drinks were amazing. I will give this location a 10 out of 10. If you're in the LA downtown area definitely give them a visit.

Came here for a friends birthday and was pleasantly surprised. The lot directly in front of it entrance is pretty much the best spot to park. You enter from the ground level in the alleyway. The guard was very friendly and personable and that always sets the tone for the bar! Upon reaching the top floor, the elevator doors open directly into the bar. Apparently you can bring your dog until about 6pm, but I didn't bring her that day knowing I will be out for longer. All of their drinks are unique and delicious. Unfortunately the mango sticky rice milk punch was already sold out, because it is so popular. The carrot margarita tasted like actual carrot in the best possble way. I was also able to try some of their food which was actually good! I don't usually eat food at bars because that usually isn't what they are about but their margherita pizza actually hit. Hopefully I can make it back when it is less hot because I was dying in that sun.

This Rooftop Bar is a hidden gem in DTLA! The entrance is lowkey and feels like a speakeasy, but once you're up there, the rooftop is gorgeous. We had the Herb Caesar Salad, House Marinated Olives, Charcuterie Board, Margherita Pizza, and Broccoli & Ricotta Pizza. All amazing, especially the handmade pizzas! Drinks were just as good. We had: Florentini, Spicy Yuzu Mezcal (spicy but so worth it), Melon Raspberry, and Carrot Margarita. Perfect spot for sunset vibes and dancing later at night. Can't wait to go back! Wow!!! This venue is incredible with picturesque DTLA views. I came here for a CoreLab event and honestly the space took my breath away. Upon entering, you're greeted with a charming emerald green and gold bar and spacious balcony. The comfy seats and amount of room to move around really elevated the event. But to get here, it's somewhat hidden through the back street behind Broadway. There's two parking lots that are closest: the small one on Spring Street at the venue's elevator entrance or the large underground valet parking on Broadway and 6th Street. I went with the underground valet because it was the first that I found, charging $5 per 10 minutes and a max of $17 per day. The Spring Street one was $12 max and is the only entryway to access the small alleyway before heading to the elevator. I liked how they had a security guard by the alleyway to help direct folks up to the eighth floor. The building itself is pretty clean and once you're up on the rooftop, the views of the Jewelry District are incredible. As for the cocktail menu, they have a fun variety to choose from.

Cute ambiance definitely a vibe pay 30$ to park in a janky parking lot was crazy!!! But at least you get in for free. Came on a Friday we had a waitress but she disappeared. Which is fine it did get busy... drinks were pretty pricy but to be expected when you're in LA. DJs were playing good music and overall was a cool experience and vibe.

Parking - not ideal in downtown though several paid lots/meters are nearby Reservation: not needed Vibe: alley entrance behind a parking lot but once on rooftop, beautiful night views and elegant decor with nice plants, flowers, and lighting Service: was provided menus promptly at the bar and drinks had quick turnaround, didn't need to spend forever to wave down a bartender Drinks: mango sticky rice punch had such good mango flavor that didn't taste of alcohol though it was definitely there; spicy yuzu mezcal well balanced; florentini with mint, lime, and cucumber was strong with sharp herbal and refreshing notes; prickly pear margarita on the sweet side

I arrived knowing the difference between a glass and a bottle, but left with a newfound appreciation for the nuances of rum, the craftsmanship behind a smooth whiskey, and the unexpected complexities hidden within a well-made vodka. We ended up sitting next to a guy who regularly drives up from Palos Verdes. I guess the place gets pretty busy, but it was ideal on a Sunday night. Happening but not crowded, with just enough space at the bar for us to grab two seats together. The bartender was great, super helpful and welcoming. He also made excellent drinks. Thunderbolt is one of those bars with an encyclopedic illustrated book for a menu. Not a long menu, just a detailed one, with a lot of information available about each drink. We got a Liquid Picnic and a Barcelonnette--just one round to close out the weekend. Both were delicious. The Liquid Picnic was a smooth, savory gin martini made with London dry gin, tomato, citron, vermouth, rosemary, and black pepper. I learned from the book that it used clarified tomato water. (There was also further reading about the clarification process.) The Barcelonnette was a mezcal sour with Suze, passionfruit, and lime, the foam made without egg white through some geeky mixologist process. Thunderbolt is not our neighborhood bar, but we plan to go back when we can to check out the rest of the menu. It's a wonderful place, well worth a jaunt on the freeway.

The drinks can definitely get a little pricy but they are definitely worth it. I think I had 3 cocktails and 2 shots but everything was delicious as well as strong. Its a beautiful interior with an upstairs that I didn't get to check out but overall a very classy, old fashioned place. I would definitely come back here just for the drinks.

FOMA is a highly regarded, experimental cocktail establishment that has earned a reputation for blending science & creativity to craft innovative drinks that challenge the senses. Prepare to be in awe when you enter The Wolves. The elegant décor did not disappoint and the stained glass ceiling is amazing. The private event featured FOMA's top mixologist working alongside some of The Wolve's mixologists. I tried one of FOMA's signature libations - Isla Bonita (Milagro Reposado, Vanilla, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Lemon, & Milk). In addition to one of The Wolves specialty cocktails - Jamaiquita (Milagro Blanco, Hibiscus, Pineapple, Cinnamon, Basil, & soda). Both drinks were expertly crafted, perfectly balanced, and a delight on the palate. Since it was a party there was live entertainment and delicious food from the kitchen that was served buffet style in the charming loft area. I'm glad I finally got to check this place out and am looking forward to coming back. *Metered street parking or nearby lots.
