I had 30 minutes between flights to grab a quick bite. When I came down the escalator in terminal B and saw several fast food places, Smash Burger jumped out at me. I went and found my gate then came back and ordered a classic smash. The line was short and the cashier was very efficient. They were super busy but my burger was ready in about five minutes. I was surprised at how good it was, probably one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Airport food isn't cheap, but this burger was definitely worth it. There is common seating for all of the food spots on this corner and I had no trouble finding a spot.

While on a layover at the airport. I saw someone near me eating a burger from Smash Burger and it looked so delicious I had to get one for myself. I must say the staff was very friendly and place looked clean and inviting. I ordered the Bacon Smash Burger and Smash Fries. The burger was cooked nicely and had a nice beefy flavor, but a little too salty for me and way too much mayonnaise on the sandwich. The bun and all the topping tasted fresh and good. The fries seasoned nicely and were crisp and hot. My only complaint with them is that they were all very short like the bottom of a batch of cut fries none being more than 2 inches in length.

I had a layover in DFW (TX) on my way to SFO (CA) I hadn't eaten anything except some plane cookies. So I was hungry. I saw a lot of people here and their food look good. So I ordered a Double bacon stack smash, smash tots and a large drink. $24.29. Not a bad price for an airport meal. The ladies at the register were friendly. I may have waited 4mins. I walked a couple feet to my gate to sit down to eat. The bag was really greasy. But that is kinda expected with this type of meal. The first bite was delicious. The rest was really salty. The tots were a little salty too. Overall I was satisfied and stuffed. My only issue was the saltiness. I would definitely try a different menu item at smash burger again.

We made a short stop at Denver International Airport during our trip to California. Before boarding the flight for California, we were looking to have a quick bite. We saw smash burger near our gate and decided to get in line for Smash Burger. Once we got our chance, we decided to order Classic Bean Sandwich and Tots. We had to wait 10-15 minutes before getting our order. We really enjoyed the Classic Bean Sandwich and tots. The black bean patty in the sandwich was particularly tasty and made for a great pre-flight meal. Highly recommended.

Really surprisingly good for being in an airport! The service was great. The girl with the red and black hair helped us and immediately greeted us with a really kind and warm smile. She had such a nice vibe and was super helpful. I really appreciated that she went to the kitchen after placing our order to make sure they got the "lettuce wrap no bun" notes. Also, I noticed that despite this place being very busy - they seem to be very organized, adequately staffed and well-run. The person packing the bags and calling out the names of orders seemed very well organized. We got 2 grilled chicken sandwiches. One with lettuce instead of a bun. And one turkey burger with lettuce instead of a bun. The grilled chicken sandwiches were surprisingly very good. The chicken was perfectly cooked, really juicy. Not dry at all and nicely seasoned. Vegetables were fresh. I actually really enjoyed it. The turkey burger was ground turkey and def kinda dry. I wouldn't get that one again. Great business, chicken sandwich was delicious. I'm sure their burgers are probably good. Would recommend.

12/11/22 I had a connecting business flight and haven't had dinner and settled on Smash Burger thinking it'll be quick and allow me to at before hopping on the flight. I was Semi hangry when I landed. I always feel bad eating on a plane when flying solo as I don't to now who's sitting next to me and thinking whether they are hangry if I'm chowing down. Bwahahahaha. I wanted to order chicken tenders but they didn't have any available so I settled on a crispy chicken sandwich with a side order of smash tots and a lemonade. Meal was under $20 and I had the option of adding a tip which I did as the young woman helping me was fairly nice and felt bad I wasn't able to get what I wanted originally. My order came out in less than 10 minutes. Didn't realize my order name was Lina but whateves. Sat down and noticed almost immediately have drenched the smashed tots (rosemary/olive oil seasoned tater tots) was in oil. I had to triple down on the napkins and let it sit for a minute. Once I took a bite, it was a bite of seasoned oil. The chicken sandwich was a pretty descent size and was loaded with hunky slice red onions. I had to take half out. Fresh but over powering to a degree. Wish I had more time for something else but it was what I had time for this time. Lemonade was aight - tasted as expected. They did tell me free refills so just bring it back if I'm still around which I appreciated but was unable to take advantage of. Skip the tots if you ask me.

READ THIS REVIEW........ Go! Very Good! - I'm a huge foodie and love quality burgers, but they are very hard to find. I like a bit of char but not over cooked and dry (must be a high heat to accomplish this). Of course, the meat must be high quality. Was I ever surprised! Meat was hot and perfectly cooked. Toppings are fresh. I loved seeing the patties extend outside the bun - all around!! Now I've read a bunch of reviews of other locations and their issues. Not here! The location at DFW terminal B by gate 12 was really good. Can't wait for another layover. I had double meat, double cheddar, bacon, and lettuce. Hadn't really eaten the burgers were just calling my name. $16.50 for a single and large fries so not too expensive for an airport meal. The burger was great! Super delicious well encapsulated in a fluffy bun. Everything tasted fresh and it did not take long to prepare. It was definitely bustling and busy with people. Everyone seemed in a rush but they were quick and was glad I had plenty of time to enjoy my meal. The fries were nice and crispy tho slightly on the salty side. Solid burger with great taste!

Bean burger, it won't fool you, it tastes like beans... but it was still good!

I love SMASH BURGER, and am so sad that so many of them have closed down in our area. So... when I saw this one in the airport I jumped at the opportunity. The line was probably 20+ people for the hour and a half we were in the terminal. Crazy busy. Staff was nice, which was amazing because they were so busy. Tried the bean burger thinking that if I put enough fixings on, that it would taste just the same as a regular burger... unfortunately this was not the case. The bean burger tasted like a patty of just what it is - beans. But their beef burgers have always been on the top of my list.

Fresh toppings. Good overall burger. Good number of tables to sit at. Busy location. Nice staff.

This place is located near gate B12 and has a walk up counter. The menu is simple there are choices other than burgers. Seems like everything is a la carte which is fine. The burger was out pretty quickly and hot. I had the truffle mushroom burger and it was delicious. The price isn't too bad considering you're in an airport. I'd recommend this place if you're in the B terminal.

I really enjoyed my burger and fries at Smash Burger! This was my first time trying this restaurant and I didn't expect the fries to be so good. Several places to sit within the Dallas Airport and the service is really fast. I maybe waited 10 minutes or less for my food so that wasn't bad for how busy they were. And the burger was good to me. I like that it was different from any burger I've tasted and the bun is SO good..

This unassuming restaurant tucked in a corner of nondescript row of stores has stood the test of time. My first review of the place was in 2013. Here it is 13 years later then it is still going strong. I went for lunch with the family on a snow day. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. No numbers, they just remember who you are. I always get combo number 1 and add sweet potato fries. The prices are great and not much more than McDonalds but the difference in value is significant. The burgers are not thick but this time I noticed the double burger (#2) is just a couple of bucks more than the the single patty in #1. Note to self for next time. Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

The neighborhood may continue to change around it, but Chip's remains the same. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Chip's has an old school, nostalgic feel. The restaurant has an iconic sloping roof with a yellow outdoor exterior and a big green sign with its logo. Inside, there are plenty of booths, a bar, and even outdoor seating. Chip's has grown and expanded over the years but to me that adds to the nostalgic charm. 1 Star. Service - Chip's may have invented counter service. Upon entering, you look at the menu posted on the wall and place your order. You'll get a number (or they'll ask for your name), and you grab a table, and when your food is ready it comes out. Fast, efficient, and the staff was super friendly. 1 Star. Food - Chip's is known for its poppy seed hamburger buns. While it's pretty and tasty, the most important part, the patty, is pretty average. Honestly, there are many other great burger joints in Dallas. On the other hand, the fried onion strings are a must order for your side. While I wasn't a fan of the burger, the fried onion strings saved my meal. The Oreo and Fresh Banana shakes were also a nice cold, creamy, sweet ending to my meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I hope Chip's never changes. The restaurant has an iconic look, it's part of Dallas history, and the staff is great. 1 Star.

We ordered the fried mushrooms to start, and they were so hot that one of us severely burned her lower gums on them. Seriously! A prescription from the dentist was sought; mea culpa but damn. Once they were less volcanic, they were good. We split a burger with fried onions, and it was dry. The meat was overbooked, the bun was over toasted, and the whole thing needed plenty of beer to go down smoothly. The fries are fine, and we did appreciate that they had some steamed broccoli on the menu. Our daughter was happy with her kids cheeseburger meal, and she did like the chocolate-caramel malt shake she scored at the end. A main reason that we're landing on three stars is the ice cream situation. One of us ordered a soft serve vanilla, and nobody told her that the machine was down, so what she got instead was a cup of half melted Blue Bell soup...are you kidding! Thanks for the prompt refund, but letting your customer know what the situation is in advance goes a long way. So, we tried it. Add a notch to the Dallas belt. We wish them well, but we won't be returning. There are better burgers in DFW.
