    Chicago Italian beef
    Rob D.

Service was awesome and the food was amazing. We had the Chicago Italian beef, troublemaker, scamp and the chef salad. All sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The troublemaker was insane with great flavors!!!! My Italian beef was so good w a perfect amount of spice. Can't wait to come back! Cheers

Food is good and made to order. No pretentious food intentions here. You hungry they got you. Decent collection of spirits. Meg our server was perfect. She's no amateur. Interior is industrial with motor memorabilia with a couple TV. Patio. It has a couple cool shops on the block. 4*'s because of parking. Other than that *****

First time here and we were not disappointed! Service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered Breakfast Tacos and Chilaquiles Verdes. Everything was delicious and was served pretty quick! We also ordered a Bloody Mary and an Orange Crate. Both were good too. We will be back next time in the area!

This is my favorite place to stop for brunch when back home visiting Seattle. I love their troublemaker sauce! Every time we go in the servers are extremely pleasant and offer friendly banter on football game day! They have a indoor seating area and also an outdoor seating area.

No frills bar with food. Good selection of beers and drinks are good. Dive-y joint with a little outdoor patio that is dog-friendly. They were a little understaffed when we were there but still super nice.

After a multi year absence, I met a friend here tonight for happy hour and - as far as the Georgetown dive bar scene goes - Smarty Pants didn't disappoint. It's still got that under-the-freeway vibe, strong drinks, a great taplist, and tasty eats. The service is more than friendly, and it's an excellent place to people watch as various local characters stroll the sidewalk outside. Overhead, 80s hair bands rock the speakers. Because, after all, you gotta fight for your right to parrrrrtayyyyy! Thanks, Smarty Pants, for still being you.

A great sandwich has great bread and Smarty Pants has great bread!! Look at all of the toppings that are included on the Taylor Street Italian! Bite after bite did not disappoint. The homemade potato salad is a must!! It has the right amount of flavor that it makes you want more! Service was quick and friendly! The patio outside extends the amount of people they can serve, as well as accommodate larger parties, if needed! Definitely recommend Smarty Pants!!

Came here over the weekend and was able to get seated right away. On the weekends, they serve brunch, but we opted for lunch when we were there. They have an extensive menu with salads, sandwiches, and other various food choices. I ordered the french dip and it was the best french dip sandwich I've ever had. The au jus was very flavorful and the bread had a good crunch to it. My husband ordered the Chicago Italian beef sandwich, which was also very good. I would highly recommend coming here and definitely plan to come back.

A motorcycle themed bar and sandwich shop near a record store and some other shops. I stopped late at night and had a beer and some eats. I ordered the tangerine turmeric beer which was light and crisp. For food, I settled on Ms Piggy, a French roll filled with pulled pork, slaw, cheese and bbq sauce. Maybe not the best to eat before bed but was quickly downed it was so good. My only complaint was that I ordered chili for the side and got the potato salad. It wasn't enough of an issue to mention and the potato salad was an option I considered. Service otherwise was quick.

We stopped in on a busy Friday night. We were able to get a table, but bar service was much faster to get our order in. Our food came up super fast! I had the French Dip, one of my favs. This one had good beef portions, not huge though as I've seen elsewhere. Salad was very fresh. Hubs had the Troublemaker sandwich. Fresh & tasty. Great spot to grab a bite!

The diner feels so cozy and homey - old photos of the owner and customers and magnets his guests left are a nice touch. Friendly and attentive service despite the busyness.

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!
