Good flavor, great portion size. Like the atmosphere. Service was nice they're really friendly. Steak was juicy and full of flavor and the house made biscuits were delicious! Will definitely be coming back!! Only think is I couldn't find drinks on the menu

Ran into this place...looked inside and said...why not. It's a small food spot with a descent amount of seating inside. I ordered a Pancake Combo. Pancakes were kinda dry....bacon was good....one of sausage links weren't cooked all the way. I will say the cook seemed to be talking a lot on the phone and it's not a good look when my food comes out bad. I'll try out this place again and give it another chance in the future.

A friend and I were attending an event close by and wanted to grab a bite to eat. We saw the Alpine and decided we'd give it a try. We walked in and the hostess/server said she had a booth in the bar. Super quiet up front, but the bar was popping in the back. Our beers came quickly and soon placed our order. My friend loved her cheeseburger and raved about it later as well. My fish and chips were good, and a nice sized serving. Our server was helpful and had great timing when checking back with us, with a smile and good personality! The only odd thing was a children's birthday party in the very back and had some very young children lurking next to our table for a bit. We agreed we'd both come back again!

Maybe this is the old Noble Barton space??? I had bookmarked this spot to try the next time I trekked to White Center. We walked in to the smallish dining area and grabbed an open booth since there wasn't any sort of sign or host stand. After awhile I asked my friend if maybe we entered the wrong door since no one had acknowledged our presence at all. As I went to scope out the rest of the place, a server brought over a couple of menus. I was either going to blurt out French Dip but then saw the cheesesteak. Score for the kitchen that keeps the onions separate from the green peppers! Second plus that they had Coke products. Good sandwich and a tiny bit drippy - batter-type fries piping hot. Nice space with a good size bar, skee ball in the back, outdoor area and Big Mario's through another opening. Restrooms seem to be a free for all and I'm not sure how I feel about that. The pla We lucked out and found a parking space across the street.

Best French Dip and their Pot Roast is to die for. The Alpine is always our go to place in White Center. You can also play Ski Ball here.

Great food, good selection, friendly staff, cool place. Highly recommend. I got the Rueben with house salad and a Hefeweizen. Better than most places.

Fried Chicken Dinner w/ extra gravy $16.99

I've only had the Fried Chicken Dinner at Alpine and that was enough to earn five stars. It's a crispy fry with the perfect amount of batter. It's well seasoned, not spicy, but one of the better fried chickens in the Seattle area. The mashed potatoes are from real potatoes, so that's a nice touch and the veggies seem to be fresh. You also can't beat the value of $16.99 given prices for Seattle. There's a front diner, bar half way through and a lounge in the back with some skeeball.

We hosted a birthday party in the game room and had a great experience. From my first call to inquire about a group reservation through the event, everyone was so friendly and a pleasure to work with. Thanks to Dray for setting us up, and Colby who handled our group that night was awesome! Food and drink was perfect - wide variety of food options for everyone (especially the GF folks that don't do pizza). THANK YOU for a super fun time!

Basic eggs, hash browns and "toast".

I wanted this to be a better review. Ordering basic over easy eggs, hash browns, and toast ($12) should be a slam dunk at a diner. Sorry to say though the hashbrowns were super cold (maybe they are pre-cooked), the dry unbuttered bread (toast?) was utter sadness. On a positive note, the decor was really cute. The drip coffee was standard for a diner ($4).

Food is good. Service is not. Don't expect to be greeted, acknowledged, or served with any interest. They don't care.

The food was just not good. The hash browns had a nasty aftertaste. The prices are competitive. I would not order from this place again.

My go to bar. Always have a good time here. Drinks are a fuzz on the high side (price wise), but I guess everywhere is expensive.

There was not too many people and we got served right away by the bartender. They have some cool unique cocktails. I got the first one, which is a custom gin cocktail for about $15. I usually cringe at cocktails over $12 but this really was worth the $15 price tag. It was so balanced and nicely flavored and had a good strength. The place has bar seating and booth seating, and televisions all over showing football, wrestling, and more. They have a mini wrestling ring at the front, which is fun. I bet this place is so fun when they have special events. In the back they also have pinball, of course! And board games. The wall is covered in art and wrestling memorabilia which adds to the ambiance. We sat at the bar for a bit and the other guests were nice too - chatted with us, chatted with the bartenders. I think some people are regulars, which is cool. I really liked this lowkey unique bar and wouldn't mind making a trip out here again soon.

I was seated quickly and got a great table overlooking the kitchen. I enjoyed watching that action and felt like I was part of a cooking show =) I ordered a dirty martini which was made perfectly and the blue cheese olives were divine. For food we did their family feast which consisted of: Tomo Caesar- we really enjoyed it, not overly drenched, lots of favlor and crunch Albacore Tataki - nearly melts in your mouth, fresh and the ponzu was so good Dan Dan Beets - I'm not a huge beet fan but it was good and the citrus added really makes the dish Cacio e Pepe Rice Cakes - literally one of the best things I've ever had, amazing, warm, gooey, flavorful and comforting...a 10 for me Dry-Aged Steam Burgers - a mini bite of heaven, people who don't appreciate these are not real burger eaters...they are absolutely delicious, soft and cheesey... I could've ate 6 of these alone Klingemann Farms Pork Chop - grilled perfectly, and the sauce that is laid over it is like drink in a cup delicious, I wish I had white rice to soak it up because we did not want to waste it Cara cara orange + coconut pandan Kakigori - shaved ice dessert, very refreshing and light even though it's like a foot high when it comes out, we devoured it All that came as part of the feast but we also added the Dungeness Crab Rice - this was like a wet risotto and it was incredible, the flavor is packed, the brown butter dashi is like liquid gold and the only thing to make it better would be to triple the size because you don't want to stop eating it!!! The restaurant itself is pretty small but that sort of makes it even better, everyone is socializing and enjoying the food, the staff is great and attentive but not overbearing and the chefs are doing beautiful work. I look forward to coming back and trying the items we didn't get to try this round. 10/10 recommend!!

The standout dish was the Dungeness crab rice, which was easily the best bite of the meal. It was rich and well balanced, and the one dish I would strongly recommend ordering. Most of the other dishes were underwhelming. The cacio e pepe rice cakes in particular sounded promising but didn't deliver much flavor and ended up being disappointing. It's also quite far to get to, and given the overall experience, it's hard to say the trip was worth it beyond the crab rice. Overall: worth trying the crab rice, but the rest of the menu didn't stand out.

Knowing how viral spots can get, we arrived early at 4:50 since they were listed to open at 5. By 5:30, no one had shown up. We checked their Instagram and found comments from other people who had the same experience from other days: showing up at opening time only to find the doors still closed. The owner had replied to one of those comments saying, "Life does unfortunately get in the way of being able to open right at 5 pm..." So apparently this happens somewhat regularly. Right as we were about to give up, someone finally pulled up and unlocked the place. We rolled down our window and he told us we needed to park somewhere else. That's fine. We waited a few minutes to let him get settled before walking in. There was no "thanks for waiting" or any acknowledgment at all. When we asked if they were serving food, he told us the sandwich guy "should be here around 6:30 or so," and suggested we grab a burger next door if we were really hungry. Honestly, that was such a letdown. We'd waited all day to eat, driven 50 minutes from Tacoma in the pouring rain, and were so eager to try their food, not the burger spot next door. We debated leaving but decided to make the best of it. We grabbed burgers next door, came back, and ordered cocktails. The drinks were fine, and the space itself is genuinely awesome, great vibe, super fun décor, and a lot of character. I mean they even play scary movies on a projector. Like, it's awesome. But the experience left us feeling more like an inconvenience than valued customers. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the lack of communication and hospitality overshadowed everything else.
