Due to the economy and real‑life situations outside our control, we've had no choice but to store two households' worth of belongings here for the past 2 1/2 years. During that time, our rate has gone up by $50-$80 every six months. Our bill is now $420 a month, which is simply not sustainable for any family trying to stay afloat. At this point, we're genuinely worried about losing everything we've stored because we can't keep up with these constant increases. I've tried to resolve this through every proper channel -- the facility, the district manager, and multiple escalations to corporate -- and corporate has not responded to a single call or email. My payment was due on the 18th, and I even went to the facility in person because I have an active escalation pending. Still no acknowledgment or consideration from corporate. I also filed a consumer complaint with the Washington State Attorney General and have not received any confirmation or response from Extra Space. This has been one of the most stressful and disappointing customer service experiences I've ever dealt with."**
