I rented a 10x10 heated unit only to find out I didn't need that much space...or so I thought. The managers transferred me to a smaller unit sight unseen by me and upon looking felt I needed the bigger unit so they ever so kindly transferred me back. When I went to move the few things out of the smaller unit back to the bigger one I saw all the empty space and on my own proceeded to move my belongings into the smaller unit. When I was done, I returned to the office to inform them I would be keeping the smaller unit and she smiled and transferred me back to the smaller unit. Additional Self Storage at 162nd Ave has been extremely helpful during our recent re-location of a family member. They not only provided prompt excellent service but great rates as well. In addition to helping with our storage needs they also provided much needed information regarding U-Haul trailers and hauling specs which we had difficulty obtaining from U-Haul's own website even going as far as physically demonstrating the equipment on site. Additional Self Storage located on 162nd has been/is a terrific place to do business with. The owner/managers are respectful, prompt, courteous and helpful in all regards! No one gets past those gates without being chased down immediately which makes us feel very secure in storing our belongs there. The grounds are immaculate with no signs of insects or rodents. Prices are the best in comparison to other storage facilities. The units we are renting are not heated, so we use the moisture absorbing buckets which keep the unit dry and mold free. read more

This is the second time when moving that I have used this particular Additional Self Storage location. They are so sweet and helpful. When you sign up they tell you all the rules regarding the ins and outs of the unit and gate usage (so don't be concerned about the other old gate comment), they make is simple. The units are clean and I have never had a problem with any rodent or critter EVER! The area is large enough to pack and unpack so it is easy bring in a truck.
