They are receiving 3-stars because while the facility is kept clean and the staff are friendly, they raise the rates every Jan with only 30-day notice. I'd been with them 5 months and they raised my rate. I just received my second rate increase notice in the 1.5yrs I've been using their services. I'm pretty sure they used the same notification letter both times. I am looking at other storage facilities. At a time where everything is increasing in cost, this annual increase shows the value isn't in keeping customers.

The unit they had assigned me had a walk-in, Not a drive in door, ergo there was no way I could get my trailer in the unit. Called them, explained they misunderstood what I needed, the unit would not work for me, they said my $91 would be returned in 7-10 business days. It is now January, I've been dealing with 3 different people, the first of whom I've spoken with 3 or 4 times, trying to get my money back, each time I'm told "We're sending a request for a return of your money, we'll call you back within an hour..." and then of course that doesn't happen. Today, a new person answered, and He want's to argue with me! I ask for the owner to speak with, "I'll send a request... yada yada yada". Nope, I'd like their number please. "We don't have a number for the owner." ?! How do you "contact" them then?! Sounds like all they have in the office is an email address (hard to tell, this person is not a native English speaker), in any case, I'm still getting a run around to get my original money back two months after they were unable to accommodate me and my trailer. I don't know who these other people have spoken to ("Mike"?), but My experience with these people has not been as fruitful or pleasant. Something is not right with this place, the other reviews were written in 2023, so maybe this place has sold to a new owner? Anyway, I would stay clear of this place, they're not honest, their customer service sucks hardcore.

Monday 7/22 I signed a contract with Battle Ground Mini Storage for unit number 404. Tuesday 7/23…read morearound 7pm I went to my storage unit, and found that there was a lock placed on the door, preventing me from accessing the unit. The office was closed. I called and left a voicemail. Wednesday, my plan was to ride my motorcycle to the storage unit, store my motorcycle in my storage and pickup the 20ft uhaul truck I reserved for an 8am pickup. I had already supplied my registration insurance for my motorcycle. Because a lock was placed on my unit preventing me access, I was not able to store my motorcycle, and forced to catch an Uber to pick up the uhaul. When I arrived to pickup the uhual the morning of 7/24 at 8am, after paying for the uhual and completing majority of the self check-in process, I found there was not a combination lock on the back of the truck. I looked all around the truck and inside the truck. I called uhual customer service, who attempted to reach the site manager. The site manager did not answer. I was then transferred to the schedule department. From there I was rerouted to Orchards location. Due to Battle Ground Mini storage not upholding their end of the rental agreement, I then had to take another Uber to the Orchard location. I arrived home at 9:30am versus my planed time of 8:30am. I hired movers through uhual to start at 9am. So I lost 30 minutes of moving time, as they were sitting waiting for me. I called the Battle Ground mini storage location and spoke to Emma. Emma advised a lock was placed on my storage unit by mistake from there their security team. She also advised she didn't know why the combination lock was not placed on the truck, and that my reservation was in the system for self check-in. As of today Emma is ignoring me. I have emailed Battle Ground Storage Unit on 08/13 and 08/19, and I have not received any response. This is the total cost I ensured due to Battle Ground Mini storage placing a lock on my storage unit causing me not to have access to my unit and for their staff not setting the combination lock on the truck: 1st Uber trip-$21.44 2nd Uber trip-$34.68 Movers: $47.50 Total $103.62 I would like to be reimbursed for $103.62. In addition, I canceled the storage right away, due to having to get a unit elsewhere and I was told I would receive a refund, for $44.84 for the unit, and I have not.

I'm telling you that this public storage is so far one of the best I've been to. My stuff is much more secure I can just tell by the layout compared to the other couple storage places. Plus it was getting late about 7:00 I think and I needed to get my stuff put in my storage unit and so I was able to go online and literally get my unit fast signed a couple documents online and boom I was able to go straight to my unit I had a map so it was easy to find. Unloaded everything and was out in time for closing. The day after I got a voicemail from a woman just confirming that everything went smoothly and if there's any problems then to come in or call her back but I haven't found any as of now so a few days later I got a call from a gentleman who I actually spoke to he also just wanted to make sure everything was okay and if there's anything that I needed and I think that they are doing very good job very through we're checking up on the customers that are doing online check-ins which is important and I have not seen or smelt anything like are described in other reviews maybe they got the wrong location because this location is very nice thank you guys for all your help and making this process easy.
