Made offload (working alone) much more difficult than a level unit (like avail on other rows). Major hassle trying to brace dolley with lifting heavy stuff down to it. Then bending down to lift dolley over 2" high lip at entrance of unit. NOT DISCLOSED. 3. You could offer discounts on that row and plenty people will go for it. I would not as I'm working alone. 4. Their were avail units on level ground. Instead of renting them first then the units with a hill (and floodwater) the mgr told me the automated system picks the units to be rented. 5. After doing their survey they had mgr contact me and offer to ket me move. HOW DOES GOING THRU THE HASSLE OF OFFLOADING ON A HILL NOW INSTEAD OF WHEN I MOVE OUT HELP? INSTEAD I'D HAVE TO RENT A TRAILER, DO AN ADDITIONAL LOAD UP AND OFFLOAD. WHY NOT OFFER ME A FREE MONTH! TRUST ME I'D RATHER PAY AND HAVE BEEN PUT IN A LEVEL UNIT WITHOUT FLOOD WATER IN FRONT. 8. At least the managers are cool and helpful.

I recently had an unpleasant experience with the on-site property manager, Michael. He accused me…read moreof sleeping in my unit and informed me that my rental agreement would be terminated. Michael then called the authorities, claiming I was being disruptive. He placed a lock on my unit near the end of the month, which prevented me from accessing my belongings and caused me to be billed for the following month. When I attempted to resolve the issue, I was told the corporate manager would be the last person I could speak with, leaving me with no further way to escalate the matter. If you attempt to contact corporate or any other entity of public storages, you will be cycled into the normal phone assistance line. As a result of this situation, I have been informed that I am no longer allowed to rent from any Public Storage locations. Prior to this experience, I was a member at Public Storage for two years Also to mention when it rains heavily, the entire lot is flooded any remains flooded until it dries up which takes around 72 hours.

I called the office in distress. We FINALLY got our key out. Just as we left they called. The property manager was on vacation. But she was heading to help. We told her she could go home. We were very thankful for their help. I'll get back to them Monday. Need different lock. Lol !! Very thankful for their dedication to their customers satisfaction. You get what you pay for.

I set up to get a month free at the end of August 2025 I received email with storage unit number…read moreand no access code to get in this building. My 6 year old & I were a victim of a burglary. My friend had a storage in same place so we were able to rush to get our stuff out of apt as my daughter was traumatized from the burglary. Was able to put household items in storage. To not being able to get access. My phone was one of the items that was taken so we were recieving with getting help with rides to try to talk to an employee at others people's convenience or last minutes during business hours we went to the storage over 10 times to try to get access as I was not once able to get in building with an access code. And we moved to a shelter in coolidge over a hour drive from mesa. I finally got a phone october I was locked out of my emails until I got my number due to 2 step verification. I finally was able to call and ask why employees are never in office as I waited for over 3 hours multiple different days to try to speak with an employee. Then once I got a phone I called the number and a man name Gabe from the Tempe office said employees work virtual . I said yes it says on the door specific hours and 2 days out of the week are virtual. And told me basically only way to talk with someone in office is to call and schedule a day to come in. So the hours on the door are incorrect. And I explained I did not have a phone. That I still haven't been able to use my access code. That now i owe Sept October and now November and he's the manager and despite the situation he stated it doesn't matter if my code wasn't working and never worked and doesn't matter that the employees that are supposed to be working on site aren't in the front they are locking the front doors and put the clock when they will be back like they are on lunch but the time they put they will be back no one ever comes to the front. And if I want access I have to pay $300 per each month to get my stuff out. And that I wasn't able to speak with anyone higher then him to explain what happened. That they can clearly see in the system my access code was never used to get in and haven't been able to get in to recover myself belongings even 1 week after. And the employees get busy and other customers they have to assist if I want to talk with someone I need to setup a time to come in so someone will be available. I don't recommend this place at all. So much for caring about your customers

I haven't paid for mover in ages and found the search for quality movers overwhelming…read more Ages ago I used a large competitor that lied and stole my stuff, needless yo say I was less than enthusiastic about trusting another company. Regardless, I took to my local FB group and Pearson came highly recommended on multiple occasions. The two young men were beyond professional, courteous, aware, respectful, they communicated well and timely, I'd say that Pearson Movers customer service completely redeemed my faith in movers, but now I'm partial and bias to them. I can't say it's the cheapest company on the planet, but fair and transparent, so regardless of cost, it's worth every penny without hidden fees or tricks. I'd say I'm pretty satisfied and should I need to move anywhere again, will call Pearson again!!!

As a guy who just sold a business after 12 years, I'm not fond of giving negative reviews but I…read morewould be doing people a huge disservice if I didn't do all I could to make sure you do NOT use Pearson (aka Lucky Day) Moving and Storage. They had four movers come over (all nice enough people) but they broke several things, the most important being a Terra Cotta soldier I had purchased in Xi'an, China, made from the same clay as the world famous archeological find. They had wrapped it up, so I never saw the damage, but they assured me they would have it fixed and redeliver it to me. The person I've been dealing with, Brock, ultimately has chosen not to have it fixed and offered me $1000, which is 1/4th of what a replacement would cost, and the replacement probably would not come from the same clay. In the several months since the move, Brock's responses to my emails have been slower and slower to come to the point he no longer bothers to return my emails. I have asked him where the statue is now -- no response. I honestly don't know that it was actually damaged, perhaps they just stole it by telling me it was damaged hoping they could keep it for $1000. I'm not accusing them of that, but as I've been ghosted, the thought has crossed my mind. I have now had to retain a lawyer in hopes of getting my statue back, or getting a replacement. Other things were broken such as a handle to a new dresser drawer and a few small less significant things, but obviously the terra cotta soldier is my main concern. Breakage on a move is something that's going to happen. But when a company won't stand up to their mistakes and make things right, they're a company you want to steer clear of so you don't have the same experience. When it comes to moving, please do better research picking a company than I did.

Her positive attitude is contagious. She helped me with my storage needs. She was very thorough. She walked me through the property. The property is very nice. It looks brand new and extremely clean. It is centrally located, and unlike most climate controlled facilities. That one is actually cold inside. One of the things I noticed while touring the property was Renee knew all the renters that were on the property by name. I thought was wonderful. Throughout my three visits to the property to Renée was on site. One thing I will mention is being a store manager. I seen her personally with the cleaning cart and gloves on cleaning storage units cleaning as well as the facilities. As a manager myself, I thought her leading my example was amazing. She also checked on me to make sure I was doing OK because it was hot outside while unloading my U-Haul unit. She's very hands-on. She has a great personality. This store facilities is a very lucky to have her. I would highly recommend the facility based off of how clean it is, how well kept it, it's very centrally located in Phoenix. And of course, because of Renee.
