It is on 54, just east of Gunn Highway (just a few miles away from us). I am surprised that I am this excited about U-Haul, but many of my previous experiences have been average at best. But this one is Fantastic! It is new, has a ton of trucks and trailers, a complete moving supplies retail store, and storage. The GM Jean was offering to help, and the associates (Brenden) were amazing! Anyways, they are new, give them a chance if you need moving and storage services.

Then we went to another U-Haul location where we ended up paying $125 for a cargo van with gas and mileage to pick up a couch 30 miles away. The trailer rental would have been $18 for the day. I researched U-Haul locations and chose this location because they install hitches. We had our hitch installed last August in Virginia and it was still under warranty. A really nice young man named Justin came out to help me. He tested the connection and confirmed it was dead. He asked me to pop the hood where he proceeded to show me where the fuse was (connected to the battery) and confirmed that the problem was a blown fuse. He took the fuse and checked the shop to see if he had a spare one. He didn't. He then told me that if I drove a couple of miles up the road to the AutoZone, I could purchase a new fuse there and if I came back, he would test it. When I returned to the U-Haul location, I got everything ready so I wouldn't take up too much of Justin's time. I inserted the new fuse and open the trunk to make the connection available. Justin came out and tested it. He confirmed it was working and showed me the tester so that I could understand what I should be looking for. I asked him how did he know the fuse was blown? He showed me the old fuse and a new fuse and I understood. If only someone at the other two locations could've checked the fuse for us, it would've saved us a chunk of money, time and effort. Justin was so kind and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about him. I really appreciated his time. Highly recommend this location.

I rented a U-Haul truck to move to Temple Terrace about a week ago. The rude lady at the counter…read morecalled me the next morning after I'd dropped the truck off to say that I damaged the truck on the back end and I hit a yellow pole that they matched the paint up with. I said something like what are you talking about? She replied with her manager has it on video and they already let the truck go out earlier that morning and promptly hung up. I was dumbfounded because I didn't even put the truck in reverse. I pulled into their property, wheee my Uber driver, Brittany, was already there waiting on me, dropped the key through the slot and got in Brittany's car and was driven home. After complaining to U-Haul Corporate, they said they would follow up but I haven't heard from them. I still haven't seen the non-existent video. And to top it all off, I had purchased their $28 Safe Move damage waiver. So even if I had done any damage, I would have been covered. And I am not the type of person to lie about my mistakes. I will happily own them. But I do not appreciate someone falsely accusing me of something I didn't do. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Terrible people. Not sure if one of their employees damaged the truck and is trying to hide it under my contract since I had the damage waiver or what. All I know is I didn't damage the vehicle, I still have not seen the video nor been contacted by the manager/operator, Bill, nor heard anything from U-Haul. Please choose another company to help you if you have moving or storage needs. These people are clearly not on the up and up. You've been warned.

Even though I already have a unit with this facility, Houston still treated me like a new customer. He walked me through the entire process and gave me information about my contract I wasn't told before. He is extremely helpful and helped me find a unit close to my first one and walked me through a the maze of units to show me a better route to get to both. Houston made my day and restored my faith in customer service.
