He then pulls and parks on the curve of the street blocking traffic so a neighbor rolls her window down asking me to have him move. When I asked him to please pull back and park where he isn't blocking traffic he yells at me "No thanks, you're F'ing rude!" I told him "Sir, first off you were late." To which he yelled back "3 minutes!!!!!" Not sure what was in his wheaties this morning but that was the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had with a company trying to earn my business. They then sent us a cease and desist letter after giving them a 1 star review. Apparently this is their thing whenever a customer is upset about being overcharged or there is any kind of damage or an unhappy customer- they send a cease and desist!!! WHO DOES THAT instead of talking with the customer and smoothing things over? This company is a JOKE! Don't hire them!!!

We had a multi-day, multi-phase move (over 7k sqr ft, Guesthouse, 3 car garage). They also packed our entire estate with care and professionalism. I think we had a least 6-8 men crew each time. Because of the multi-phase move, they had to be very organized and did an great job of that as well as communicating. They really can provide VIP service, (crated things that were expensive or delicate, etc). Some things went to storage (which they provide too!), some to the new home, and some things moved to one of our businesses. They executed everything with ease and made a typically REALLY stressful experience, easy and manageable. We are using them soon for a long-distance move, to relocate some items from storage to a summer home. Started out good. Was able to accommodate a one day change in date of services. It was a simple…read moremove and they couldn't get that right - simply offloading a 26' Uhaul truck into a ground floor AC unit. Easy. Provided a $200 deposit. But then it got bad. I confirmed via email and text the day before scheduled services. Was told the movers would arrive between 8a-9a on Saturday and would call me when they left the yard (in Tampa). 9:30a came and went - no calls. I called 4 times, texted twice, emailed. Nothing. As I searched for other movers the crew calls and says they're on their way to Seminole. They sent a two-man crew instead of a three man crew. The guys who showed up were very nice. Great representation of their company. However, I never received any communication from the company, nor any apologies (until after I posted this review). The crew told me that they had a scheduling issue and that they didn't have any crew available for me and they were supposed to be working at the warehouse today but got put on my job. It took 2.5 hours to unload the truck into the storage unit. I bought lunch for the two nice guys who showed up. I went to pay and was charged an additional $738. I asked the crew lead if I was only charged for two man crew because the original estimate was a three man crew and he said yes it's a two-man crew. After I paid I checked my original estimate and they charged me for a three man crew. I have emailed and texted the owner and I have received NO communication. I understand it's the weekend, but as a business owner, reputation is everything. He could've at least apologized via text, email, or phone call and he could've at least responded to my inquiries about being overcharged. At the end of the day I paid almost $1000 for a 2.5 hour moving job! After I posted this review I heard from them finally at 8:40p on a Saturday night. They refunded $175 for the 2man crew. Total move cost was $760 for 1 hr 38 min drive time, and a 2 hr 45 min move. Tipped $120 cash for the 2 man crew.

It is on 54, just east of Gunn Highway (just a few miles away from us). I am surprised that I am this excited about U-Haul, but many of my previous experiences have been average at best. But this one is Fantastic! It is new, has a ton of trucks and trailers, a complete moving supplies retail store, and storage. The GM Jean was offering to help, and the associates (Brenden) were amazing! Anyways, they are new, give them a chance if you need moving and storage services.

Long story short, we were unable to rent a small trailer at the Land O Lakes location because the…read moreconnection to the trailer lights was not working on our end and the person helping us was unable to diagnose the problem. Then we went to another U-Haul location where we ended up paying $125 for a cargo van with gas and mileage to pick up a couch 30 miles away. The trailer rental would have been $18 for the day. I researched U-Haul locations and chose this location because they install hitches. We had our hitch installed last August in Virginia and it was still under warranty. A really nice young man named Justin came out to help me. He tested the connection and confirmed it was dead. He asked me to pop the hood where he proceeded to show me where the fuse was (connected to the battery) and confirmed that the problem was a blown fuse. He took the fuse and checked the shop to see if he had a spare one. He didn't. He then told me that if I drove a couple of miles up the road to the AutoZone, I could purchase a new fuse there and if I came back, he would test it. When I returned to the U-Haul location, I got everything ready so I wouldn't take up too much of Justin's time. I inserted the new fuse and open the trunk to make the connection available. Justin came out and tested it. He confirmed it was working and showed me the tester so that I could understand what I should be looking for. I asked him how did he know the fuse was blown? He showed me the old fuse and a new fuse and I understood. If only someone at the other two locations could've checked the fuse for us, it would've saved us a chunk of money, time and effort. Justin was so kind and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about him. I really appreciated his time. Highly recommend this location.
