Searching online was overwhelming with too many options, so I decided to stop by SmartStop--and I'm so glad I did. That's where I met Sandy, who was exactly what I needed. The manager instead gaslighted me to pay for what he stated was one month free but it was a total of $62 due at the time for admin, keys and some other fee. He also misrepresented the month to month contract by "alleging" my electronic signature binds this contract continuously, that again was supposed to be for one (1) month. He and his manager, still are insisting I am bound to this contract which I am disputing. But, instead of getting the corrected quote because of their mistake, they are charging me more fees on top of the $101 amount totaling today $156. This location apparently singles out people to do this type of misrepresentation!

I love that this facility, on Providence, right next to Carrabba's in Brandon, had a 5x10 option. You can do the whole rental process online, choosing your own unit and electronically signing the forms. For $19.99, you can even buy the lock. It will be waiting in your unit for you. They'll text you a gate and/or elevator code. It's pretty painless. But somehow I messed up and rented an outside unit when I wanted an inside unit. Danya in the office took care of me lickety split. She made all the adjustments and got me into an inside unit right then and there and showed me the ropes of getting upstairs. She was sooo helpful and accomodating. I'm not sure how long I'll need storage, but I'm so glad I chose this clean and convenient location. I'm also impressed with security measures. I wish it were a bit cooler in the top floor but that's a small request. Thank you, Danya! You're a star!

I also had very big problem with NO ONE AVAILABLE ONSITE EVEN DURING PUBLISHED HOURS stating THE OFFICE WAS OPEN. My rent went from $108 per month to $180 per month in approximately a year. My niece had a much better experience at the 1007 E BRANDON location. They were very helpful and polite in that office.
