He was professional, respectful, patient, and very honest about what needed to be done. David gave me a very fair price and even went out of his way to provide a generous discount, which I truly appreciated. He never pressured me or tried to sell me anything unnecessary. The quality of his work was outstanding. He made sure every lock was installed correctly, tested everything carefully, and did not leave until I was completely satisfied. It is not easy to find someone who combines great workmanship with honesty and genuinely cares about the customer. David treated me with respect and made the entire experience easy and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy locksmith!

So glad I found Pasadena Lock Shop! I had reached out to Steve late last night when we realized our…read morefront door wouldn't lock. Immediately got scheduled first thing in the morning (no consultation fee!) and he was honest about the difference in pricing estimates if it wasn't a quick fix. Once he took a look at our door, Steve suggested taking the lock back to his workshop to see if they could fix it in house. He came back a couple hours later with his team member Allen and when they placed everything back in the door, the lock worked! They apparently had to rewire some springs and fix a couple broken things inside the lock. Grateful they were able to save us time and money so we didn't have to purchase new parts! Overall his pricing was reasonable and both were very friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend especially if you have an older lock!

What a disappointing experience at the once reliable Foothill Lock and Key! This was my third visit…read morefor the same issue. While waiting, I watched the counter employee speak to another customer in a condescending and sarcastic manner. I was shocked that guy would openly insult a customer in front of others. When it was my turn, another employee claimed not to remember assisting me previously (but recalled the car) and then denied offering me the same price for an OEM key that had been discussed during my first two visits. The other employee then jumped in and claimed that Ford OEM keys often "don't work" and have to be sent back, so best I go with the no-name generic key. I did not appreciate the conflicting stories, the lack of professionalism, or the shop's refusal to honor what I had been told during two prior visits. As a long-time customer, it's frustrating to see how far this business has fallen. Because I don't like being lied to, I will take my business elsewhere and, of course, cannot recommend this shop to anyone.
