Super old school locksmith that has been in business for 80+ years. The current owner has been working there for nearly 40 years. They knew a lot about a 40+ year old lock that had broken in a rental condo, and were able to call around to source a refurbished one since the lock was out of production. read more

This is a hidden gem of a shop that is located on Foothill Blvd. in Pasadena. The service was friendly, good, and speedy.

Service was simple to schedule. Service is above and beyond. Very thorough and honest. Price is reasonable.

Dan from Antrims came out and removed all our locks so we could have them polished. He is very knowledgeable , as is Carla in the office. What a team! Our locks came off, were polished and are back on in short order. Instead of new doors, we now have polished Hardware. They didn't try to up-sell us on anything and even complimented what we had. So wonderful. We've counted on Antrims For so many years. This year, though, was quite special. Thanks, Antrims team. read more

First, thank you Carla and Dan for a job well done. I contracted with Antrims to install dead bolts on 2 doors and repair front door lock, which was a mess.. Dan arrived at the scheduled time, was professional, friendly and, above all, very knowledgeable and an expert in his trade. Price was reasonable and Dan cleaned the work areas upon completion. I am very satisfied with the work and will use them again when needed. read more

Consulted Antrim's for the purchase of a lock to use on a Storage unit since I didn't want to use the cheap locks the storage facility sells. Carla offered to loan me several of their locks to see which ones would work best for the shackle hole diameter of the storage units hasp. Very friendly and knowledgeable team working here. They gave me reliable advice in deciding which brand and type of lock to purchase, answered all of my questions about locks. Was also impressed that they knew who the "Lock Picking Lawyer" is on YouTube, who I use to research lock and security decisions. I ultimately purchased an Abus Disc Lock from Antrims. Would easily recommend them for lock rekeying, house or office lock replacement, repairs or other locksmith needs. Competitively priced, large selection of every kind of lock for different needs, small business, able to see the locks and ask questions about the differences of the locks without having to search the Internet for days. Able to purchase the lock the same day without messing with Amazon or waiting days or weeks for it to be delivered. The only place I could find in the area that carry's Abus and higher quality locks. read more

We weren't sure if our front door lock needed repair or replacement. The Antrims tech came on time, determined that repair was the best option, and did the repair quickly and effectively. Both he and the office person were courteous and helpful. Definitely recommend this business. read more

I've been here about 5 times and the service is always professional and awesome. Quality products at a fair price.

I stopped in at Antrim's to get a couple keys copied since I'm trying not to spend money at Home Depot. It was way better than a big box store experience! There are tons of options for key designs and the staff are so kind and knowledgeable. The price is not high, most keys cost $5 but there are some fancier design options that cost up to $8. I picked one of the cute ones because I like a little bit of whimsy but it's totally up to personal preference. I did not feel like I was being upsold. I will definitely return next time I need any lock or key supplies! read more

I just had my second visit from Antrims; the first one was in 2023. I came back because I knew I could trust them to do good work and charge a fair price. And indeed, Ryan F arrived promptly today, was both knowledgeable and courteous, and did excellent, efficient work. There are so many private contractors and companies these days who take advantage, misrepresent, or even outright scam. To find a company that is honest to the core, just trying to provide the community good service, is deeply comforting. read more

I tasked Carla with a rare double dead bolt for a very thick gate with very short latch. The lock was from the 60s that broke and was retrofitted. This lock no longer existed. Carla and her team managed to sourced a rare Schlage double dead bolt and her locksmith came out and installed it with a lot of retrofitting the lengths of the lock and bolts to make it work. Highly recommend. read more

I'm pretty sure the people of Antrim's could pick a lock. Or crack a safe! I walk into this place and they know what I need before I ask. Experienced. Smart. Easy going. Great with customers. I asked if they had a battery for my car fob (the electronic key). The man behind the counter asked a few questions about my car and in a few minutes he said he had the part to fix it. I asked can you put in the battery because I don't know how. "Yes," he said. Literally a few minutes later a woman motioned to me and said here, All done? I asked. Yes, she said. That was it. My worries about locking my car or gosh -- starting it -- evaporated. She even confirmed by telling me "I tested it and it read weak." She clearly knew her stuff. The guy told another customer he needed to bring in the lock to be sure he had the right key. Reasonable price, too. Honest professionals. A small business find. read more

Old school fabulous! These people were brilliant! Great prices too. I brought 5 Baldwin cylinders to be keyed a like and they got it done within Th e hour. They also talked me thru how to disassemble a mortise cylinder so I could bring it in. The just don't make businesses like this anymore... read more

I recently had a problem with one of my door locks and they suggested that I try a home remedy before they scheduled someone to check it out. The home repair worked and it saved me a lot of money. I used Antrims to key my entire house 10 years ago, they did a great job back then so I'm glad that I went back. These days it's hard to find a vendor that isn't trying to make an easy buck. I really appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. I am defintely a lifetime customer. Thanks so much! read more

I've gone here a few times in the past to get my keys duplicated with no issues and at a great price. But recently they have gone above and beyond and have a customer for life in me. I recently acquired an old arcade cabinet for my office and I needed to change the locks on it, as I only had one key for the current lock and it used dimple keys which are pricey to replace. I did not know the diameter of the barrel of the lock so they gave me two different sizes based on the lock barrel that I brought, and told me to bring the one that I don't use back. They did this without asking for a receipt or anything. Lo and behold a friend made me realize that I don't need a lock with key, I can just use thumb locks (the ones where you twist them open) since I don't need to lock it up at the office (there's no money in it, etc). I tried the smaller barrel before I got the thumb locks and it didn't work and I somehow lost the other barrel (it was the holidays and things got crazy). I brought the one bag back and they only charged me for the one I lost, telling me if I brought it back I can get a full refund, which was absolutely fair since it was my fault. Their level of trust in a customer and willingness to go above and beyond to help a customer out is rare these days. I will come back to get my locks and keys when I need them again. read more

Great fast and friendly service. Parking is street side. It says I need 85 more characters so here they are.

Awesome local business been here 87 years. Got keys copied for $3 each vs $10 at the keyme machine

I contacted Antrims to have a new installation of a Schlage Smart Lock on my front door, I had the lock just needed the drilling and install. They were able to schedule an appointment within two days of my call. Dan arrived as promised and looked at the door and the lock to determine what was needed. He was professional, very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. He didn't leave until he was satisfied that the install was correct and the lock was operating properly. I highly recommend Dan and Antrims. I will call them in the future. read more

Always professional and so helpful. Highly recommend. Everything from a key to be made or a big problem lock, they can fix it.

Clara the owner is a so much fun to talk to. You would think as a key maker they have very little to say or just being brief and speak only "key words"! (Get the joke?!) No seriously, I've been never disappointed whenever I patronize their place they can do Magic!! I wish that they would stock a little more lockbox. I bought the one and only lockbox there. They're such great players in the business community because they did not mind referring customers (whenever they get overwhelmed) to another locksmith in the Pasadena area. That's what I call great "Key-manship!" read more

Look no further, this team is great. I have a home that has lots of locks including Kwikset Smart locks and Schlage and they all needed to be rekeyed. Some were old and needed new cylinders, some were dirty and all in all it was a difficult and timely job. I stopped by Antrim's office with pictures of the locks and spoke to Carla about the job. She gave me a rough estimate (the high and low) and scheduled the job for the following morning. Ryan called me the following morning before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. Ryan showed up as expected, we went over the job and he started the work. The job took a good part of the day and another Antrim's locksmith arrived to assist. They worked tirelessly to get the job done and did everything I asked for. I was charged exactly what Carla quoted me and I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting it to be much more. I am very happy and would highly recommend you contact them if you are in need of a professional locksmith that sticks to their quoted price and performs exceptional work. SUPER good service! We got home from vacation and were unable to open the wall safe in which we had stashed all of our car keys.
