These days it can be challenging finding a great plumber, electrician, or locksmith and when you find one--you hang on to them for dear life and hope they never retire. We have used German's locksmith services on several occasions with our properties and he is always without fail --- super reliable, professional and friendly. One of our patio doors wouldn't lock and German squeezed us in the same day we called. He is a true journeyman-- skilled and experienced, knows his craft inside out. He solved our problem with efficiency and ease and was a gentleman to boot. He may not be the cheapest around but the adage holds true here--you get what you pay for. I highly recommend German for all your locksmith needs. read more

German has been the most reliable locksmith I can find. I have two buildings and my home for which he has serviced multiple times. He isn't always on time, but he is always communicative with his ETA. I have also learned that those that do the best work are sometimes late. Simply because there is a high demand for someone as trustworthy and skilled as he is. You have a customer for life here. read more

He saved the day! That's all I can say, thank you so much! We lock our 1 YO daughter's room at night and my wife misplaced the key. Baby girl woke up crying and we couldn't find the key. We called the locksmith and within 10 min he came to save the day! He unlocked it right away. He even felt bad for us and gave us a discount and advised us on buying easier locks incase this happens again. We are so grateful for your help and thank you so much! Highly recommend this locksmith! read more

German does car lockouts too. Excellent service for sure, he's honest, informative, and respectful. My car key broke off in the vehicle as I was getting out last night and I didn't notice and I don't have a spare. I live in Rosemead. I got pricing and arrival time over the phone, and he was right on time in 25 minutes which is crucial because I needed to go to work. He was done in 15 minutes. If anyone has used a locksmith before, you'll know German's got the best price. Make sure you can prove its your car though, because he won't just open anyone's car for anybody lol. I showed him my insurance and ID so he could verify the VIN. Hopefully I'll never need him again, but I'm calling German every time I do. read more

I just got my lock fixed by Herman few minutes ago and can't wait to write this review. He is very knowledgeable, reliable, honest and did the job with great care and speed! I am so grateful that he was able to squeeze me in to fix the problem. He also saved my hundreds of dollars by trying to repair instead of replacing the lock which can easily be close to a thousand. Herman is so friendly and his daughter Heidi is very sweet as well. It's a pleasant experience and he took care of my problem very quickly. Absolutely recommend this company and will be his lifetime customer!!! read more

Germán has been doing this for 20 years, and he's wonderful at it! Make sure to call ahead to make sure he's in because he's the only one working and sometimes he's fixing keys out and about (not in the shop). I got lucky today and stopped by while he was in! I needed 2 copies of my key and the total was $4.93! What a steal! And he finished in like 1 minute, I swear it was so fast!! Thanks a lot, Germán! read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! He has old obsoletes tools, he was banging at the lock with a screwdriver and I brought I up to him. I said wait wait... I had this done before and it was done in few seconds, his answer was, so WHY YOU DIDN'T CALL HIM! And he kept banging at the lock with the screwdriver, I was afraid he was going to ruin it; so I suggested that maybe it was easier to unlock the front door... Unfortunately my husband is out of town to had dealt with him. From the beginning, he said send me a picture and he told me I might have to drill the lock and that's when I told him for the first time that if he had the tools, he'll be able to open it because we had this done before... So rude, unprofessional, obsolete tools. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES AT ALL. NOT WITH THAT ATTITUDE AND WITHOUT THE RIGHT TOOLS! And he wasn't cheap either. He charged me $100 hat it had to be cash, otherwise, if you want to pay with credit card he'll charge you additional $3. THIS IN REFERENCE TO YOUR REPLIED. Unless you have a twin brother that uses the same phone number you referred in your message, the one you used to call and we communicate with, and unless you have a twin brother who handed me )because I requested), a receipt with all your business credentials, same information you provided here... it was you now trying to pretend it was someone else. This has been crystal clear and you kept the white copy of the receipt with you and gave me the yellow copy so you can't pretend that it could had been someone else. And trying to offer a discount... what a joke. THIS PROVES AGAIN THIS IS MORE THAN UNPROFESSIONAL! read more

Owner showed up at my house on time. Friendly and respectful of my time. Went to work right away rekeying 2 doors - $85 total. Kind and efficient and affordable. As a minor side note...he did not stink, did not yammer on his phone while working, did not smell like cigarette smoke, and did not seem shady....so unlike other sleazy lock people where I feel that they may come back and rob me. Such a relief. read more

He showed up on schedule and was very friendly while working, His work is neat, clean, and fast.

German Jr came relatively quickly to my phone call and was actually able to just pick my lock so we didn't need to drill. He set up replacements. It was all very fast and efficient and I have a new set of keys that work now. However, the second time German Sr came and he tried to quote me a price 25% more expensive for the same type of lock and situation. Fortunately, I called many other places to compare prices and it was easy to get someone else to do the same work for market price. read more
