After yelping for a reliable automotive locksmith, I stumbled upon this place--Good Lock and Key. I needed to program and to cut for my new smartkey, and this place got it. The owner, I believe, was super nice! He offered me drinks, while I was waiting for him to work on my key. For cutting and programming my smartkey for 2018 Nissan Sentra, it was supposed to be $65, but he gave me a discount for checking in with Yelp, which totaled to be $60. My husband and I were so excited for for our Saturday "date day" that we waltz'ed right out of our apartment and made it out to the car before we realized neither of us had brought our keys... just our luck that our building manager was on vacation, and so was the maintenance man! Let me start by saying the guy had no F... Clue of what he was doing , he basically destroy the lock before he was able to open it , the lock you might thing was very difficult and expensive ... Well no, it's the cheapest and easiest probable on the market , then I find out its $85 per service which in my opinion it's a lot of money for a single lock! So do yourself a favor and buy you're own drill and destroy it yourself in the end at least you will have one drill and the nice experience of destroy a lock! read more

We recently had a roommate move out and wasn't sure if he handed any copies out and had some stuff still stored in the house. We didn't want anyone in the house while we were gone or have someone unexpectedly come in so we decided to get the locks changed. We used a different company when we first moved in to change the locks and they were cheaper but had us waiting around all day to come do the job. These guys were only about $30 more and came within an hour (we weren't too far from their office) and asked how many keys we needed and we're happy to supply extra copies. In and out quick and easy! I had asked for them to email me a quote via email but he said they would do it at the house before the work was done. I didn't want any unexpected charges. Stayed true to their word!
