I've been meaning to write an update, whenever I need to use the dang car key, I remember, then when I get back home, it's far from my mind. So, this update is long overdue! The stupid key doesn't work well, NOT AT ALL. At first we thought it was the battery, so we replaced it, but NOPE! The replacement key just doesn't work well, you cannot hit the unlock button and have the car unlock, you have to use the physical key. I recently lost my keys so I went here on 4/3/23 in the afternoon around 2:30pm to get a replacement car keys with remote and the staff was super friendly and attentive. I called ahead of time to ask for the pricing and they were quick to text/call me back an amount. I ended up driving there right after and there was no wait time around the time I went which was great since I had to get to school later on. I had originally requested to get a remote with my car keys but for some reason the remote just did not work with my car even after my locksmith was trying for some time so I ended up just getting the keys without the remote and was content to receive the keys with the remote even if the remote may not work. I haven't posted a review yet!! This is overdue! I locked myself out of my apartment on accident. My apartment is pretty old but my door self locks, so if I don't bring my keys out with me and I close my door, my door locks automatically. I believe I locked myself out at 7:00 AM, which is pretty early. The real lock and key opening hours start at 9:00 AM, but I really wanted their help since they had great yelp reviews. I gave them a call and hoped for the best. I was greeted on the phone by a nice lady, who told me not to worry and that the locksmith would be there in 20 minutes, for a reasonable fee. And in 20 mins, I was saved! The locksmith opened my door in another 15 mins. The woman and the locksmith were so sweet and great to work with. I wish I would have asked for the names of the locksmiths who came out to help me this morning. I am new to my building with autolock doors and I locked myself out when walking my dogs. Overall: highly recommend! They saved me while I was in a pinch and did it graciously making the experience as pleasant and streamlined as possible. Not sure how premium their prices are but for the convenience and peace of mind, I'd call them again if I needed to. Situation: My electronic lock failed me in the middle of a busy workday and things were grim. I'm locked out on a hot day with my dog and had another dog locked inside. I made 2 calls: Call 1) the locksmith put me on hold for 5mins, said they'll take 40mins to come out, and the price range is: "the technician will tell you the price depending on the lock you have." Call 2) I called this place - they picked up within the 2nd ring, told me a technician can reach my place in 20mins, and there's a flat fee to open my lock. Experience: The technician that came out was timely, friendly, and professional. He was able to pick my lock within 5-10mins and spent a while to rekey it. Overall, a good experience. Pricing: I don't know how competitive their rates are, but to come out was $75 + addl rekeying fees. They said electronic locks cost more to rekey. read more

Thanks to Real Lock and Key for the assistance with our house door, as we had an old deadbolt lock that came loose and unusable, and we weren't able to put it back together. I gave Real Lock and Key a call, and Sadi was able to come in 30 minutes as per what the representative told me over the phone. Sadi was very patient with our questions as we eventually decided to change out a new lock, and also took the time to adjust and file down the side of our door so that it could close more easily, since our door was a little deformed over the years. WOW!! I was a dummy and locked myself out in the middle of running errands and cleaning.
