I did not have a good experience with this company. Our project kept delaying over two months from initial deposit. I wish they would check in the first place if every piece was in stock before asking for a deposit. We had to chase them each month via phone or email to ask for an update. I know partly was the manufacturing vendor fault for not having some of our pieces, but the company did not take any type of ownership for our frustration, we asked for some type of concession but they said no. I felt I didn't have a good customer service as time went by. The initial meeting was great and that was why we decided to hire them because they were very knowledgeable. Finally after waiting two months with still no real status, we asked for our deposit back and they were not apologetic over the phone. read more

I purchased and paid for the installation of an aluminum gate at my brand new home. The pre-installation part of the process went well. Hrach's communication was up to par at this point. Due to that, I was optimistic that I'd receive the same stand-up attitude when I brought to his attention an incident that occurred at my home during the installation process. The installer cracked my concrete in the area that he was installing the gate. This lead to even bigger damage on my stairs. Hrach did not field my inquiring objectively as I had hoped, but rather shifted accountability to the "quality" of my concrete. I used 4000 spi concrete on my stairs, but of course he did not know that and again, the stairs are less than a year old. I had higher hopes for a resolution, but of course was disappointed. I would have happily eaten the cost of repair with a more object approach ear from him, but we are in zero accountability world these days. read more

The vinyl fence itself is of good quality and reasonably priced. However, I cannot recommend their gate installation services. I had issues with the lock not being correctly installed--anyone can literally pull the steel rod out all the way and just dispose of it. And despite following up multiple times, they never came back to fix it. I waited twice for Harach, he never showed up. Unfortunately I haven't heard from them since. While the fence was solid, their lack of professionalism in following through is disappointing. read more

Hrach came out to the property to assess the area and give a detailed quote with the dimensions of the proposed pedestrian access door and sliding gate. His team brought the premade panels, laid concrete, and installed the fence in one day. A few things we would recommend for future clients is to consider your existing dimensions of your gate/door may change with the size of the posts. Our new pedestrian gate door width is narrower and now we cannot move our trash cans through it. Also, looking at the vinyl pieces used to make the gate, we noticed many scratches and scuff marks which we did not anticipate to have given this is supposed to be brand new. Not sure if pieces were damaged during transportation or installation. Overall minor areas that could be improved. 4/5 read more

We compared 3 other aggressive bids (in cost), but once we learned about Practic, Hrach quickly turned around our highly custom estimate which came out equal and much better than some. Combined with a flexible and kind manner, it that made all the difference in the whole process from beginning to end. Communication: direct line and always had professional, quick response. Materials: offer Duramax or their preferred SUV vinyl Scheduling: Extremely fast, and willing to work with our overlapping schedule with our other building painting project. Demo day: faster than expected, efficient, and although demo is usually loud and messy, they were mindful of all property lines/existing connections. For construction work, the team worked surprisingly quietly meaning no tossing items or unnecessary noises. It showed that the team was respectful to our neighboring buildings and our property. Design: We just wanted to replace what we had, but to my delight, they ended up building more height and improved overall design. Our old building's angles and shapes were scribed perfectly for privacy between units. They truly care about a beautiful outcome for the job. Cleanliness: Job site was cleaned and tidy at the end of the work day. Workmanship: top notch. The engineer and his team came out during the estimate and the building to create all the details, custom shapes, filler panels we asked for around our spanish style exterior. I was blown away with what they delivered, and happy everyday I see my privacy fence. Customer service: Best in the business- they made it work with our painters in a tight space, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions, which I did, but they always delivered with a smile! Recently had three vinyl fences installed at my residence in studio City. Spoke with Mike on the phone and told him how important it was to have the installation done as quickly as possible since we are in the process of prepping the front house of the property to be rented for the first time. Typically, it can take about 4 weeks from the time you schedule a job until the day the installation takes place, but Mike tried his best to help me out and not only accelerated the job to within three days of the date that I was hoping for, but he also was extremely competitive with pricing and managed to beat a couple other quotes we had gotten by several hundred dollars. When the workers arrived (punctually at 8am sharp) they handled the demoition and hauling off of two old chain-link fences that were going to be replaced, and got all three fences up in under 9 hours. There were four workers in total and they were very respectful. And to say that we were incredibly happy with the finished product would actually be a understatement:) Their work and attention to detail was excellent, and the quality of the vinyl and pvc used wasn't at all like the types you'd find at a place like home depot, for example. It was excellent quality (very thick and solid), and they went approx 3 feet thru our concrete ground in the yard and driveway to put the rebar for the posts so that durability would never be an issue. The workers did speak very limited English (they might have been of israeli descent... But i apologize if I'm mistaken) and the youngest one, Eric, (who looked to be around 20) spoke for the group, including his father who apparently was one of the workers on-site, if not the "lead". They made a commendable effort cleaning up as well and that's always appreciated-- We just couldn't be happier! The quality of their fencing coupled with their excellent workmanship has now greatly improved the entire look of the property. And the main fence they erected (a privacy fence enclosing a patio for our new would-be tenants looks phenomenal, and was the centerpiece/main job they had). But two other fences (one smaller one near the rear of the residence to enclose a smallyard), and one located near the front of the residence to hide the driveway and area where we normally out out trashcans, came out looking equally impressive. We now feel even more confident that the home will not just be rented (we live in a cozy neighborhood between Colfax and Tujunga Aves in Valley Village/studio City so "if" we'd find tenants was never the concern.... However, getting top-dollar for it appears to be that much more on the horizon for us bc of the incredible job that Practic Vinyl did. I wish i could give more stars:) I don't Yelp often, but when they asked if i would I made it a point of posting this review for them bc we were that impressed with their work. They gave us a 5-year warranty on labor and a lifetime warranty for the parts(which is comparable among other vinyl places). But i don't think you'll find a business that from start to finish will satisfy the way that they did, and do. Great price! Great quality! Great work! You can't ask for anything more than that. If your shopping around please trust me and give them a call. In fact, I called one evening just before they were due to close for the day(literally 10 minutes before). But i was helped and never felt rushed. In fact i felt as though my business mattered and that's important. Sometimes you know when people just want to get home but that wasn't the case here. So, I explained the scope of the job and gave an estimate of the measurements for the total fencing that would be needed, and not only was Mike over in a couple days, but we had the best price too (which didn't even include the demo and haul-off of the previous fences which a lot of places will assess an additional charge for doing). Yup- you honestly won't be disappointed. We are going to have them back to do a fence for our front yard sometime next year too and i will recommend them for anyone who is looking to have fencing done. That's a definite! Thanks again guys! 6 stars (if i could)and all-around A+rating from me, Nick Santoni in farmdale. AND, my mom loved it too...And she can be hard to please (which isn't an exaggeration lol).
