We contacted Cuadras Fence for the installation of two gates. We are so impressed with the look of the gates and even more impressed with the quality. Hard wood was used, and the steel frame is a thick gauge. We're now in the works to plan out a run of fencing at our home and Cuadras Fence is at the top of our list to carryout the project. We contacted Efrain and talked about the process. After the call, I sent him the style of gate we wanted, a couple of pictures of where they would go, and some rough measurements. I had a similar positive experience as others have reported here. I had a 50 foot run of wooden fence that broke away from it's posts in very strong winds. I called the guy who put it up, but he wanted 3500 to put it all back together-a lot. Efrain arrived when he said he would, and sent me a quote for just slightly under $1300, which, being the cheap bastard I am, I immediately agreed to and scheduled a day to begin. On the day of work, Efrain arrived with another truck carrying a few workers. Efrain explained again what they were planning to do, and made sure I was ok with the plan. Efrain went to another job site, and told me to text him if there were any issues. When they stopped to let some cement set up, Efrain texted to let me know what they were doing. It took less than a day to reset a cinder block in the retaining wall, create extra holds and support, physically lift the fence a couple of feet off the ground, attach it all, and correct the yard gate so it is aligned with it's locking mechanism. They even put caps on the metal poles sunk in the ground - something I saw every day and never thought was amiss for 9 years! My only issue is that they used a fence board that broke in the fall for jointing the sistered beams of the fence. It works, and was a thrifty solution, but it doesn't look super good that way. Not a big deal, I bought some metal braces from the hardware store and will replace them when the sun is out a bit longer than it is now. Overall, great experience. It's rare to find a five star business on Yelp that actually lives up to it, but these guys totally do!
