I hired Image Outdoor to install a gate and pavers on the side of my house -- about a 10-foot gate area and approximately 25 x 7 feet of pavers. If you don't mind constantly following up, correcting mistakes, and holding a company accountable while paying high prices, this company may work for you. They present themselves as a high-end service and mentioned my project was considered small for them. Unfortunately, there were issues at nearly every phase of the project. Communication between the sales team and the workers seemed inconsistent. Important details we discussed were repeatedly missed or forgotten. The quote was very high, and when I asked several times for it to be explained or revised, the conversations were postponed and the final quote ultimately remained the same. In the end, they did provide a small discount after I raised multiple concerns during the project. Despite measuring, reviewing samples, photos, and confirming my selections, several mistakes occurred: * The wrong color pavers were installed (later corrected). * The gates were built in a different size configuration than requested. * I specifically asked that the side I use to enter be the larger gate so I could roll my trash cans through it, but they installed the gates reversed. * I asked for the gates to open inward into my yard, but they were installed to open outward. * I purchased the exact lock they recommended, yet it was still installed incorrectly. * Pavers were initially not installed inside one of the gates, which created a safety issue when stepping through the entrance. They did eventually come back and agree to fix the missing pavers, but it took several months and multiple reminders. When the repair was finally done, the wrong color pavers were installed again. At that point I decided not to continue pursuing additional corrections and later hired a handyman to fix the gate lock. In the end, the finished product does look good -- the gates are beautiful and the pavers themselves look nice. However, getting there involved a long series of mistakes, corrections, and follow-ups that made the process far more stressful than it should have been for a $23,500 project. read more

Had exterior work done such as patio, driveway fencing, lighting in yard, and more. Quality of work is just decent; looks nice but doesn't last. Many issues that followed. Patio for example, was not waterproofed correctly 3x; had to keep asking and urge Yuval to send someone out, and that's after arguing to remind him of promised "high quality and 1 year warranty or guarantee" services to be provided. Lighting kept burning out in the yard, 2 times now within only a few months of each other, but he tries to charge extra few hundred dollars to send someone instead of being part of warranty or guaranteed quality of work. Basically, poor service, quality of work decent at best, late all the time (if he said 11am; he literally says it means he can come 2-3 before or after that... might as well give a range instead of scheduling a specific time). Terrible communication, this is an issue too (he has attitude problems and even has unprofessional comments at times; I have text evidence), there were many issues throughout the entire process, not smooth, he hired random manual workers instead of people very skilled/experts in each aspect of the job. I decided to go with Image Doors and Gates for a couple of reasons. The first reason was that Yuval spent the time asking questions and talking me through the options. I find those initial conversation at the start of any project very important, I am being asked, what do I want and I am asking, what do you offer and suggest. We had Yuval and his company install 2 side gates for us about 10 months ago. His pricing was competitive and service wasn't bad either - their installers were professional and did the install job quickly. Yuval is also a really nice guy and fairly easy to work with. That said, he's much more responsive on the front end getting the sale booked, and afterward, there were some pretty long delays. I don't want to sound negative because it wasn't a bad experience working with him but below is the actual timeline for our gate install. I hope this helps to manage your expectations when working with this company. 9/23/22 - first visit, inspect the old gate, spec out new gate to provide quote. We discuss and finalize pricing over next couple of weeks 10/19/22 - I received invoice, paid ~30% deposit to start the work 10/20/22 - they took measurements, confirmed materials, wood color with us 10/24/22 - Yuval ordered materials 11/24/22 - materials arrive, installer crew (sub contractors) show up on Thanksgiving day unannounced. The materials are wrong color and the plank dimensions are incorrect *Between 11/24 and 12/8, a bunch of back and forth around when my gate materials would arrive and when we can schedule the install. 12/8/22 - new materials arrive, installer crew comes back, finishes the install quickly (I forget but it was only 1 or 2 days) 12/11/22 - Yuval comes back for final inspection and I pay the balance ... 1/10/23 - One new gate starts to gets stuck badly and doesn't open or close well. We asked them to fix and they were responsive but took awhile to come back 1/24/23 - they fix the gate. We identify dozens of sticky paint beads forming on the finish for both gates. The wood needs to be refinished 1/29/23 - their painter refinishes wood and he sees the metal is rusting already after it rained. He recommends that we get the metal refinished. Yuval tells me he'll repaint the metal frame but rust is generally not covered by his warranty (even after 1.5 months?) 2/13/23 - painter comes back and repaints steel frame for rust While our new gates work fine, it's only been 9 months after the painter refinished the wood and the stain is rapidly fading. See pictures attached. At this point, given all the back and forth, I'm hesitant to re-engage with Yuval to fix the finish. Nothing against him, I just don't want more stress involving these gates. We'll just wait another year and let the finish get worse before we hire a painter to refinish. read more

The wall corner was patched, painted and you can barely tell it had been cracked now. He also attached the fence to my garage for more stability to prevent further damage. He also sanded and re-stained the wood panels after he had a replace a few boards that were damaged by the previous work that had been done. My fiancé and I recently had Image Doors & Gates complete some work for us. They built and installed a motorized 7' swing gate in our driveway to give us some added privacy. All communication with Ron, Yuval and their teams was clear and timely. The quote we received was easy to read and broke down each step in the process so we knew exactly what work was going to be performed. They were able to share pictures of work they had done in the past which gave us confidence that the work would be completed well and gave us ideas as to how we wanted to customize the work. Once we issued the go-ahead, they promptly got started with procuring all material. The physical installation of the gate happened within 2 weeks of signing the contract. Installation of the metal post that holds the gate up, installation/construction of the gate itself and installation of the motor occurred on 3 separate days. Each day, the team arrived on time, worked quickly and totally cleaned up once they were done. The team that installed the motor also programmed the remote to control both the gate motor and my garage which was great. Within a couple of days of using the gate, we realized that the gate receiver didn't have great range and you had to be right next to it in order for the remote to work. I learned that you can install a stronger antenna to boost the signal. We called Ron and Yuval around 9 in the morning to let them know of the problem and possible solution. By 10:15, the team was onsite adding the antenna and by 10:30 it was installed and the range was 5x better. Excellent customer service!
