I would give this company a 10! We had our new balcony railing installed today. And I am beyond pleased. We we're getting quotes from other rail companies. Our first quote was $11,000. With a 16 week wait time. Our Contractor found the Company E&E on Yelp. Because they had such good reviews, we called them. They scheduled and came out within the week. Called to confirm our appointment then called an hour before they were to arrive to let us know their ETA! From a picture we gave them they gave us a quote that was 1/2 of what the first quote from the other company. They use the highest grade of materials and the bid included paint and install. The best part is it took 3 weeks to completion, instead of 16! Once our project was completed, and ready to install, They arrived on time. Again confirming the day before. ***UPDATE 9/14/2019*** Still 5 stars with Ed! The concrete posts that were done by another contractor started to shift on both sides causing the gate doors to get stuck. I called less than 24 hours ago and asked if he could come take a look. He literally stopped by this afternoon and made adjustments FREE OF CHARGE. I was seriously expecting to pay out of pocket since the issue didn't involve his scope of work but him and his team literally took 15 minutes to realign and adjust the doors to accommodate the shift. I'm still amazed with his work and service. Just a little background - I spent over 2 months searching for a RELIABLE and competitively priced iron work company. I capitalized reliable because I worked with two previous companies in which one took my deposit and never showed up or answered my calls and the other tried to change the price on me last minute. I spoke with Ed and it took less than 40 minutes from our phone call for him to show up and visit me. I was originally looking for something premade and cost effective but after speaking with Ed, he let me know that custom work wasn't too much more expensive. I ended up getting three custom fit gates that were the styles that I chose, powder coated (not krylon canned) and had them delivered and installed within the 4 week timeframe promised. Eddie does excellent work. He's done work for my mother in-law and work at our old and new house. He made a great chandelier just from a description we gave him that we saw in a magazine. It's the big chandelier in the photo. He also made smaller ones for our kitchen. We've used him for custom drapery rods and outdoor gates. There are no limits to what he's capable of creating. He's a real artisan. Prices are reasonable especially given the level of craftsmanship. He's a real pleasure to do business with. Always pleasant and accommodating. I needed a security door, and Ed made exactly what I wanted. He explained the difference between store bought and handmade, AND without me asking, he gave me a discount as a returning customer. The price difference wasn't all that great between Ed's product and buying a security door at a big-box store and having it installed. Also, I would've had to wait months for the store to even get the door in stock. Once I understood the weaknesses of the store-bought door and Ed's door, it wasn't even an issue.
