    As an Interior Designer Lamps Plus has consistently given excellent service to me and my clients…read morethrough the years. What sets them apart is their in store service. Their products are in the mid price point but if you want something more higher end/ artisan / designer and find it online from another vendor, they will order it for you at the same or better price and have it shipped directly to your home. Ordering lighting online can be tricky if you haven't seen it in person and having to return a light fixture by shipping it is a hassle. It's comforting to know that anything I order from Lamps Plus can be returned directly to their store in the rare case I need to return something. Lamps Plus cares about their customers .

    Our exterior lighting was problematic and we found Dale via the internet. He was prompt and super…read morehelpful in envisioning what our front exterior could be with proper lighting. He set up an elaborate display with portable lights to demonstrate the effect of new lights. It was spectacular! Though the install took a bit longer than initially expected, the result was fabulous. Thereafter, Dale suggested that one entire area along the street could also use lighting. We had never even thought of that before, and he was 100% correct. Again, he set up a demonstration and it was wonderful. Now when we enter our home at night, it's a showcase! Dale was respectful and warm-hearted. We highly recommend him.

That never occurred. Weeks went by and emails and calls went unanswered. Phone staff were evasive, illusive and somewhat unprofessional. Still, I gave him the benefit of the doubt BECAUSE of the referral he had received and our initial positive conversation. After almost a month of no forward progress Dale came out and walked my property. Again, he promised a written bid and then followed up with NOTHING. Overall, I was promised booking/ bid/information on at least four separate occasions after turning in all of my paperwork promptly with no follow-through. Seven weeks later and ABSOLUTELY nothing has even been received to date. It sure would have been much more professional and easier for everyone if you just said you didn't want the job! In my professional industry, word of mouth and follow-through are essential!
