What a great experience to have in your time of need a company that cares about its customers. Nobody wants to have to call an electrician, but am I glad I did. Bobby was the best, he explained everything before, during, and at the end which I really appreciated. Such quality work at a fair price is unheard of these days, but Power Spot Electric delivered. If I could give ten stars I would, check them out if you need electrical work done you won't be sorry. read more

If you need it done right, this is the electrician you want. They have an office manager/dispatcher (Kati) who is prompt and responsive with communication, unlike so many contractors. Brian and Ty are absolute pros at doing the work. They do top-flight quality work. This company was recommended to me by a very close personal friend-- who happens to be a high-end contractor himself-- and HE had these guys wire HIS OWN house when he built it. So these guys are who the pros use. read more

Electrical problem left me with no dishwasher, no garbage disposal and a sink filled with Mother's Day plates, pots & pans. I was referred to Power Spot by another electrician. I called and explained, my quandary to Gina who was booked tight... but she promised to try to get someone out today. She was able to schedule the repair and Brian showed up to save the day. Service from dispatch to repair was VERY personable and professional. Brian was friendly and knowledgeable. Power Spot is my new go to electric service. read more

They don't return calls. They don't return texts. There is zero customer service present within this company. Such a shame.

The products they installed were of the worst quality and failed within two years of use. We have tried to contact them several time with no returned calls. read more

We moved to Simi Valley four years ago and have called on a number of electricians to help us with necessary home repairs. We feel very fortunate to have now found Power Spot Electric, who have proven to be extremely knowledgeable and competent while very fair and reasonable in their pricing. We really appreciated the fact that they wanted to perform a home electrical audit to make sure that all our systems were working properly without any potential issues. Bobby located a number of unknown problems, estimated the cost to repair and remedied them. They took the time to explain what needed to be done, provided us easily understood estimates and always were on time (keeping us up to date via text as to their ETA). We have a number of additional projects that we will be hiring them to do this year and they have gone out of their way by providing additional contractor names and references. I believe the best way to describe this company (as compared to the others that I have hired) is extremely ethical, consumer friendly and incredibly conscientious. Power Spot Electric has now been added to our permanent "go to" list for electrical home repairs. read more

Power Spot Electric was quick in responding to my request to replace a bathroom fan that had gone out. Bobby discovered that my unit was custom for my old house and spent time researching the right unit to fit in the space provided with no damage to my ceiling. Had a bunch of projects lined up and called Power Spot based on their Yelp reviews. They were as advertised. Quoted out a free estimate for 4 jobs. I only went with 3 of the 4 but Bobby (with the help of Kati) took care of adding an outdoor outlet, fixing an indoor outlet and installing a fan in my office (with conduit). All around pleasant experience. Everything is working fine (Love how quiet the fan is which comes down to a great install) and they were incredibly tidy. Would definitely hire again. read more

My power is out again but I'm running the whole house off of my backup using the transfer switch that Bobby installed. I'm so happy to have power right now without running extension cords all over the house. Bobby is always great to work with and answered all of my questions, even staying to help me start the generator so I'd be ready for the next outage. Oh, did I mention he helped me pick out a generator too? Power Spot is the company to use. You can't go wrong. read more

POWERSPOT electric was 5 star from the very start. I originally was referred about them through Facebook and then looked at their Yelp page to ensure they were top notch. Which they are. Bobby Martinez is the best! It's tough finding trustworthy contractors for parents. My elderly parents live alone. They wanted professional help with a newly purchased generator and have it properly set up to run their home during power outages. Bobby wasted no time with the installation and patiently went through each step, so now they can operate the generator for their home. Bobby is every bit of a professional. He's dependable, on time, honest, kind, patient, and trustworthy! read more

I was referred to Powers Spot electric by our plumber Pablo at Barcena Plumbing. Bobby Martinez and Katy were very responsive to my needs to install an additional electrical outlet in a bathroom wall. He cut the drywall, fished the new Romex wire down and had the electrical outlet installed in no time at all. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and charged a very reasonable price. If you need an electrician, this is the place to call. They are efficient, conscientious, prompt, reliable, professional, CLEAN and above all, EXCEPTIONALLY KIND. And when you're a stay at home mom with three young kids at home with you, having people you can trust in the home and around your kids is a big plus. This is the third time we've used Power Spot Electric. The first time we had garage lights put in. The second time they added recessed lights to our kitchen and this third time we had recessed lights put into our living room, dining room, hallway and entrance way. This last time, they installed 13 canned lights in one day. It was a big project, but they got in done between 8am-4pm. And when they left, there wasn't a single speck of dust on my floors, counters, tables, etc!! They covered all the furniture, vacuumed before leaving, and wiped down any smudges on all the outlet switches. The only thing they left behind was the gorgeous lighting! This staff goes above and beyond. Kati, the receptionist, is super responsive with texts, emails, and phone calls. I love that all of the invoices and estimates are emailed so I have an electronic copy and can easily look them up again in my email when I need another job done. Bobby, Brian, and Frank did the work and estimates for our house and they were all very communicative throughout the process so we knew what was going on. And like I said, it was a huge plus that they were friendly with my kids, husband and I. Trusting others to work on your home isn't easy, but the staff at Power Spot Electric were so knowledgeable and thoughtful that trusting them came easily. We will for sure hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done. read more
