I contacted Dani again to instal a couple of dimmer switches but ended up asking him for a price quote on recessed lighting in all 3 of our bathrooms and throughout our garage and it was so affordable we planned that as well as switching out electric plugs that were 2 to 4 but the next day when he scheduled the guys to come out I asked him 10 minutes before if they instal bathroom fans thinking maybe we would do it at a later day but on the way over he had his guys buy and instal a ceiling fan so quickly and easily. This has got to be one of the most unprofessional estimates I've ever received. While he contacted me quickly from a Yelp referral, he sent to young guys who looked like they were still in high school to do the estimate. They got out of a car, not even a company truck. No business cards, nothing. One guy put on a baseball cap, backwards as he walked up to the house. They also didn't wear masks while we're still in the Covid pandemic. I took them around and showed them everything I needed done, they didn't write a single thing down. The main thing I was looking for was to have all the knob and tube wiring replaced, which is a HUGE job. They left and said they'd tell their boss everything they saw and he'd give me an estimate within the hour...which he did. However, he didn't even estimate the knob & tube replacement at all. That's what you get for not seeing the job yourself. Electrical has a million things that can go wrong, I would never use a company like this on a 107 year old historic home. Never. read more

However, because I needed to paint the parts prior to installation and he required full payment in advance before he delivered the parts, I attempted to make a reasonable and fair ask. I simply suggested, I'd buy the parts on my own and pay him/them for labor only (knowing they would likely charge a bit more for labor only. His/their response was, regardless of if I buy the parts or they do, they would still charge me the full cost both parts and labor. I just moved to Ventura a few days ago and my new place had no ceiling lights in the rooms and I needed my 55" Flat-panel TV (90lbs) wall-mounted. I went through Yelp to find electricians and everyone else either had no availability or couldn't do multiple jobs. I had just got an estimate from another local electrician company and they came to my new home and quoted $900 for 4 straightforward ceiling light installations and the TV wall mount job. Dani responded immediately after reaching out to them and suggested it might be easier for me to send some photos before coming out. I send them photos and they gave me a quote of only $300! WOW! That's 1/3 of what another electrician quoted me. They offered to do the work that same day and said it would take 2 hours. This was perfect because I already had been trying to get the jobs done for almost a week with no luck. Roy and Andy texted me before they arrived and they showed up 20 mins early and got the work done in 1 1/2 hours (when they said it would take 2 hours!) Wow! I wish I had these guys when I lived in my previous home in the Palm Springs area. They were immediate in response, knew what they were doing, did a clean job, showed up early, and even cleaned up after themselves when the work was done. For two of them there was attic access and the other two had to have holes cut, but it was kept to a minimum and they closed the holes and cleaned up.
