Very interesting to see all the good reviews on Next Level Electric. That however is not what I experienced in dealing with them. Originally in 2003 I had a Leviton lighting system installed in my house and two years ago I contacted John from Next Level Electric to remove that Leviton lighting system and install an updated LUTRON system. John originally working for a another electrical contractor helped install the Leviton lighting system. John told me that he was not competent or could not do all of the work on the LUTRON system so he subcontracted out with another contractor of his choice to work together on the $82,000 job. John could just not understand that he would be the main contractor and whoever he partnered with to do the technical part of the job I did not know who they were, so I wanted to deal exclusively through John. That is just a concept that John could not understand. So when I gave John a check, against my better judgment, as the job drew to a close, he just packed up walked away and left me hanging with his subcontractor , who actually turned out to be a pretty good guy. That is extremely unprofessional to walk away from a job like that. Well John the job is finished and Anthony did a great job and is extremely honorable to work with. I called at least 5 electricians found on Yelp and 3 of them never got back to me. The remaining electricians was either overpriced or too far away from me. On estimate day - John was prompt and courteous. My appointment was scheduled from 12p-2p. He was at my house at 12p! I was actually late to meet him since I did not expect him to be on time. After looking at the scope of the work needed, we agreed on price. Price was very fair and reasonable! On work day - John sent Jake and another guy to install my NEMA 14-50 outlet. Not many people get to say they were the very first customer of Next Level Electric but I can. I called John the day he started his own business. He was recommended to me by his former employer who was recommended by my realtor. I've had John and his crew do everything from isolating and labeling my fuse box to dedicating an outlet for my Toto toilet. They came quickly when my office light ballast melted. Note: you cannot replace regular fluorescent lights with LED fluorescent lights without replacing the ballast. They crawled under my house when I installed a garage and needed the electrical brought to the main. (They had to use the skinny guy because my house was built in 1926.) John always answers my text messages within hours. He even knows when to talk me out of a wild idea after I cut the ridiculous cost of Uverse cord and I went through BRAVO TV withdrawal. You'll have to ask him yourself what the thing to do is. I will say that I have more channels than I EVER had with Uverse. For a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend Next Level Electric.
