I'm convinced more than half of you 1 star reviewers are snobby tourists. It's a Bar for fucks sake and a decent one at that. Pretzel bites and Mac and cheese bites were great. The gouda is bold and fondue isnt too bad either. Prices are damn reasonable for a place like this where a structure is charging a flat rate of $100. I'll admit service was a bit slow but they are obviously busy all the time since they are located next to the aquarium. I don't usually leave reviews, but our experience at Sly McFly's was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. From the start, we were not greeted at the door and just stood there as staff walked around us. After several minutes, someone greeted us and said we'd have to wait. Even though there were lots of open tables, we stood in the doorway for about 10 minutes. Service was disorganized and inattentive. Our server barely checked on our table, and it took forever just to get basic things like water refills, ketchup (got it myself), utensils, etc. When our food finally started arriving, one person's soup was cold. After waiting 10 minutes for a hotter soup, we cancelled it because the rest of the table was finished eating and the server said she would have the manager remove it from the bill. While we waited for the check, the (hot) soup came out anyway, and the waitress said they would only deduct 50%. But then, upon looking at it, there was a hair in it! Absolutely unacceptable. (We did get it fully deducted from the bill.) Lastly, I LOVE dogs, but they allowed a non-service dog inside the restaurant - and got the dog water when our table didn't get any! As if that weren't enough, when I checked my credit card statement later, I found that the server had charged a higher tip amount than what I wrote down on the receipt. It's incredibly dishonest and left a terrible impression. Between the bad service, poor food handling, and shady billing practices, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

The calamari tasted like rubber and was served on a bed of cabbage (??) The server noted we didn't eat most of it but didn't offer to replace it. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with slaw on the side. Instead, I received pulled pork atop a mass of undressed cabbage (what's with all the cabbage -- were they just trying to get rid of it??) The floor staff was nice and the food was really good! But the BAR was terrible. I ordered and espresso martini when I got it, it was bubbly no beans on top I still decided to drink it and on my first sip A SHORT THICK BLONDE/BROWN HAIR. When I notified the waitress she took the hair immediately because it belonged to the bartender we literally locked eyes. As she was speaking to him he did this sort of pick and fling motion with his hand. Like showing her a joke on how it got there. Buddy and I stopped here for a fish and chips. I had already had clam chowder at Crabby Jims beforehand and was gratefully still full. Buddy's fish apparently didn't taste too good and it seemed like such a long time waiting for it. It was delivered without slaw which was supposed to come with the meal. I'm giving this rating a four star just based on our waiter. He was the only one working beside the bartender. Seemed like he was doing everything, checking people in and cleaning up. We got seated pretty fast as it was basically not that busy and you seat yourself. Menu was good, they had everything for people taste. We didn't want anything major as dinner was in a few hour. But still managed to over order. The drinks on the other hand. Bloody Mary was ok, complemented with the olives and pickles green beans. That was a plus but the margaritas. That was a skimp. It was basically ice, two sip and it was gone. Full glass of ice. Food, had the pretzel ball and fondue. That was good. A bowl of the chowder, it was ok but SO salty. The club was good, good portion of the bacon and avocado which was a plus. Overall, it was ok for a quick stop. Service was ok, the main waiter was busting his butt off as he was the only one working. So four star for that. 3.5 stars. Came here to watch the niners game while waiting for my room to become available. It was no wait, the atmosphere was energetic. Service was on point, we had a beyond burger(sly style), sly signature burger, chicken wings, crusty bread and whipped and chicken sandwich. The pineapple margarita was delicious! Came here before dinner for my mom's 60th birthday to have a couple of cocktails and had the best bartender (Martin). We walked in with a party of 8 and they were very accommodating. Martin told us that they would have live music playing 80's and 90's later that night so we decided to come back. We had the best time! Martin took great care of us and the band was awesome! My husband and I went last night for a burger. As we were staying at the Intercontinental nearby. The service was horrible. The fries were soaked with grease. My bacon cheeseburger was cold in the middle and the cheese wasn't even melted. Neither of us finished our burgers, we ate about half. We were hungry and it was late so tried to eat what we could of it. We both ended up with heartburn and diarrhea. We paid $54 to be sick the rest of the night and some of this morning. We weren't successful pinning down a reservation during our last visit 2 months ago back in September. There was a very long wait for dinner so ended up going elsewhere. This time we got lucky during lunch and got seated immediately. Totally not busy w just a handful of tables being occupied. 2 servers working efficiently and were attentive to our needs; filling our water glass and providing extra dipping sauces when requested. I ordered the burger w onion rings and bacon. It was huge, juicy and towering delicious! I had to take out one onion ring just so I can take a bite. Even that wasn't enough to take all of it w one bite from top to bottom. Finally fell apart at the end just because handling it made it difficult. We also had tacos served on a metal rack to help keep it together. Not the best tacos but it was still delicious. Salsa and chips included. The best I guess was the clam chowder bread bowl. I'm assuming it was great cuz mom ate it all; even half the bread bowl after I told her that it was ok to eat it too. Great corner location w views to activities at open public courtyard. Came back for lunch today and Edgar mentioned they added new items to the menu. They had loaded nachos, The salmon dish. (Forgot the full dish) and the lobster roll which was my choice. It was good, the bread looked like a folded white sandwich bread lol. But the taste was good.
