Beef brisket rice noodles not spicy
    Michelle S.

No wait at lunchtime in a Wednesday work day which us nice. You order and pay for your meal then sit. I asked and she recommended the signature rice noodles or noodles with soup & fried skewers. I chose the beef brisket rice noodles not spicy. Loved the peanuts in the noodles. The brisket was tender and flavourful. Not a lot of brisket but it was just $10.99 plus tax. It looks i could add add-ons which ranged in price from $1.50-$3.00. Overall decent lunch for under $12.

Classic fried rice noodles and beef skewers together

Filling noodles and skewers at a great value! The place is more like a takeout style where you pay first. Tried the classic fried rice noodle and was pretty impressed! Freshly cooked as it was steaming hot, the noodles were very bouncy and had a mild spice (spicy version). Has some bok choy, bean sprouts and chicken (I think) pieces mixed in between. A solid portion that can easily be shared! Only downside was it was a bit oily which some might not like. Was $13.99 which was fair for the portion. Skewers were two for $3.99 which is pretty good value. A great side dish, taste was great but the meat was not separated well so some pieces were hard to get off the skewer. Would have also liked some water to be offered for dine in. Otherwise was a filling and great meal overall, interested in trying the other menu options! Not a lot of seating inside if you're planning to go with a large group.

This is a small and new Chinese Noodle restaurant. It opened 2022-12-12. There are 4 tables with chairs; 2 tables for 4 and 2 tables for 2. During meal times, because there are many takeout and delivery orders,  it could get quite crowded; eg during 17:30-18:30. We ordered the following: B3. Braised Beef Brisket Rice Noodle Soup ($12.99). C6. Bone Broth Pork Dumpling ($10.99). E3. Pork Ear with Chili Sauce ($6.99). The brisket was good but there should have been more pieces. The broth, bok choy, pickled vegetables, and peanuts were good. We asked for non-spicy. The pork dumplings were large and tasty. The bone broth was good. This dish is never spicy. The Pork Ear (pig ears) were good but medium spicy. They accept cash, debit, and credit cards. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood parking and a few parking garages nearby. Review 2023-090

I didn't particularly enjoy this restaurant. I was actually trying to find another place with a very similar name and ended up at the wrong one. On the positive side, the prices were under $10, but the dish I ordered was nothing special. I even paid extra to add some green beans and barely got any. I was also the only customer there, and most of the people sitting in the restaurant were delivery drivers. So, I guess this place is more popular for delivery than dine-in. There are better places to eat along the street. I won't come back.

If you're looking for big food portions at a decent price in downtown, this is the spot to check out. I tried their classic fried noodles with beef, which were good though a bit low on the beef. I also tried my friend's sauerkraut fish rice noodle soup, which was delicious and something I should have ordered instead (we live and we learn). It was much more flavourful and diverse in its ingredients, with more of a spicy kick. The service was also good and efficient.

I liked the toppings though having an option of heat level would have been nice. Service was so so. The host greeted us and when we asked for a table along the back she very reluctantly gave us one saying they are saved for the dinner rush. We were there at 6:30pm so would think we are part of that "rush". When we left an hour later there were only a few her diners and two single diners were given Seats along the wall. So much for that dinner rush. Also no one ever came to check on us. Had to flag down for anything even the check. Though servers were grouped together on the side talking most of the time. Though the food is good, the service makes me wary of returning.

Our waitress tried her best and was very pleasant. We did have to ask for things twice, but it was a busy Saturday evening. I ordered the chilled tsukemen which I really enjoyed. I liked that it came with an egg and the pork was very tender and had a nice smoky flavour to it. I also thought the portion size at this location was pretty big. I was really full after eating my ramen. I had a pleasant dining experience and would definitely come back to this location.

Sansotei Ramen Review…read more Order: Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen Ambience: Sansotei at union station is more like a quick takeout /food court ramen spot than a sit-down restaurant. It's great if you're grabbing something fast, but the seating area wasn't the cleanest and I had to look around for a table that had been wiped down, which wasn't ideal if I am paying 21$ for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. Food: I tried the black tonkotsu ramen and it was definitely rich and filling. I liked that you can choose between thick or thin noodles, which is a nice touch. That said, the broth was a bit too rich and salty for my taste and could use something to balance it out, maybe an order or Diet Coke. The meat was good but not as tender as I would like. Sides and Pairing Tip: I'd recommend getting a side of gyoza or even a Diet Coke to help cut through how rich, heavy and salty the ramen feels. Value for Money: It's a good option for a quick meal, but it does feel a little expensive for the experience you're getting for that price. Overall: Great for a fast ramen fix when you're on the go, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking for a more comfortable dine-in experience, or more value for money. 3/5

The weather in Toronto this week has been in the 20's and 30's! The restaurant does serve the dodgers when they are in town! If it's good enough for them... I ordered a Canadian whiskey to start off. It was very nice and smooth. I think it was a Sleeman and sons? Not positive but I really liked it! Then the food. I ordered the first roll from every section.
