Ordered through the drive thru during lunch time, took about 20 minutes to get my food. Very busy during that time and the drive thru is kind of crazy. Hopefully and I'm sure that'll die down, everyone just wants to try it (including me!). Food was fresh and hot when I took it back home. I ordered the gravy instead of another sauce. I thought it would have come with 2 different sauces but since I ordered just the 3 tender they only let you choose 1. The gravy is good but on the thinner side. Thought we'd try this place for lunch after we left Costco. Chicken salad ordered. Lettuce was wilted due to the enclosed lid with no vent and heat of chicken made it soggy. Inedible. Chicken sandwich. Bun Burnt. Chicken, thickness wise, was half the size of Popeyes or Chick Fil A. Fried pickles were soggy. Totally limp. I would not recommend this place. Maybe to my enemy but not to anyone else. Very disappointing. Next time we'll just get a Costco Chicken Bake. Just incredibly horrible food. We were on the go and did not have the time to return for better made food. A hint to mgmt. customers don't like to be called "boss" when they're ordering. Drive thru is a joke. Worker went to take the other cars order before ours and they had been 3 cars behind us. One star given instead of zero only because their soda was good. * I see other bad reviews. Well, this place did not disappoint. I had been following their opening and couldn't wait to try it. I visited on a Sunday afternoon. The drive thru was 10 cars deep, so I went inside. Cool environment, some community tables, booths, tables. I am not a big eater. Looked at the menu, but didn't want a "meal". Asked if you can order just some tenders, and yes, you can order 1, 3, or 5 chicken tenders alone. 3 tenders was $5.79 +tax. I did not find a dipping sauce that spoke to me, but the tender alone was SO DELICIOUS! I walked in to a pumpin' crowd, but only one person in front of me to order. Ordered To-Go. Friendly employee. Paid, was given a number, took a seat. My order came out in 3 minutes! I got it ToGo, but ate the first strip in the restaurant. Well, it was definitely fresh. I burned the roof of my mouth with my first bite! But so good, so juicy, no specific flavor beside "good", tasted fresh as they advertised. It was $6 for 3 strips, I felt that was a fair price. They were delicious, ate another one on the drive home. So many "chicken places" opening nearby. This one was just really good. Chicken sandwich is $5. I will definitely be back. I live a block away and I will never go here again! 1 finger at Dave's Hot Chicken is soo much better than the 3 tenders I received here. I am so pissed off after sitting in the drive thru for over an hour(twice) and getting sub par food! Chick fil a is 5 times better and Dave's Hot Chicken is 15x better!! What a damn embarrassment!!! I got a free spicy chicken sandwich in the app for downloading it. I thought I'd try it out. Was unable to order online today so headed over. I had to go to Costco anyway! The line inside the door went all the way to the door. So I tried the drive through instead. There were a dozen cars ahead of me and it took about 25 minutes. Plus some idiot in a white Sentra that was two cars behind me cut ahead somehow. Still my sandwich was excellent. Hot, spicy, and filling. There was hardly any of the onion strings and barely a small lettuce leaf on it. It should have had more like the picture. They could also use a tomato slice or two. But the pickles were fresh tasting and the chicken was excellent. Actually worth the $5.99 price. They only have tenders and wings (chicken tenders on sandwiches and chicken/waffles and salads). I have always been a fan of chicken tenders. Time to put Slims Chicken to the test Parking: the parking area was adequate and will be great once the "new" dies down. Luckily, there is an overflow area not too far. I counted four accessible parking areas available. The Drive-thru has two lanes. They had people working the drive, so that I couldn't test the intercom system. Something different: Their sauce collection is HUGE. Seventeen flavors to choose from, and every meal allows you to try 2. I also admire that they have gravy. The southern part of me jumped for joy. I opted for Honey Mustard and BBQ; more about that later. Outside eating is an option with 6 ( 4 seater) tables!! Though I wish there were a bit more shade, they did have umbrellas. -Southern hospitality: The place was quick but had a noticeable professionalism about the workers. Food: I ordered the Slim's meal to-go. This came with five tenders, fries, toast, and a drink. The meal was HUGE! The fries were the least desirable. They were soggy. I should note that I took the food home and ate. No taste, and I dislike limp, non-crisp fries. Next time I will be substituting for a different side. Fret not. This was the ONLY issue I had. I upscaled the drink for a large Dr. Pepper. The plastic cup that it came in was a decent size and was refillable. The toast was nice and toasty. Adequate amount of butter to toast ratio. I opted for honey mustard and bbq for the dipping sauce. They both were divine. I am a sauce gal, and both had a decent amount of sauce. The barbecue sauce was tangy and not thick. The back note of the tang kept me wanting to back for more. The honey mustard was also good. Notes of mustard and sweet. Not overly sweet and not overly mustard. The real star of the show was the chicken tenders. The first bite was delivered with a pact full of crunch, seasoning, and freshness. Hallelujah! The chicken tenders were on point! I was over the moon not to get a rubbery, cold, and old chicken tender; they were cooked to perfection. The batter had an adequate amount of seasoning. That nice crisp crunch left my mouth watering for more. Price: The price point was on par with some of its competitors, Chick-Fil-A, and thank goodness, not AS expensive as Daves' Chicken. Overall: I WILL be back. I give it a solid 4.5 stars (.5 for soggy fries). I'm telling you guys that Chick-Fil-A better watch out. There's a new game in town. read more

They gave us half of our order...waitress said she would bring the rest...10 minutes later as we saw that she had forgotten us, I went up and asked the cashier about the rest of our meal. He was able to get it for us. I blame this on the fact that this is their first week, so understandable. Wings were tiny and had decent flavor (Korean), but wete salty. Tenders were more breading than meat, and very salty. Sandwich chicken was also very salty. We just weren't really impressed with the flavor of the food, and likely will not be back. read more

We were all very pleasantly surprised with our experience and with our food! We got crispy chicken sandwiches, the club sandwich and tenders. Would highly recommend tossing your sandwich or tenders in a sauce! We finally tried this place after a Costco run because there wasn't a long line. I had the Chicks meal and the tenders was hot and fresh, the fries was good but a little salty and the bread was perfectly toasted and buttered. My husband had the slim wrap and he enjoyed it. Been there a few times and my second time going was a little bit of a problem but one that was thankfully taken care of by Peter the manager. He was helpful and explained how it happened and provided me with a refund and a surprise for my next meal. The food is good for fast food, but I wish the chicken was less salty. The fries and dessert jars would have to be my favorite things I've gotten there, but I will keep checking back and giving them a chance, as I'm not one to hold grudges for human mistakes. I was hesitant cause I don't care too much for chicken. However, this place is so good. My kid is autistic and eating is hard for all of us. The manager was extremely nice telling us no problem bring in other food for him. No issue. I know some places are particular about bringing in outside food. So that was nice. And I got the 5 strip meal and I didn't care for them being plain so they cashier told me to have them tossed in whatever sauce I wanted. Man that was sooo good. This is the spot for sure. Had a horrible drive through experience! Got to the restaurant around 8:15pm and entered the drive thru. I immediately became trapped with people behind me. It's one of those once you enter you can't get out kind of situations. I then became aware (too late) that the line was barely moving. Eventually a worker came up to tell me they were down to one fryer and the wait was going to be awhile. He told me if I ordered I would have at least another 30 min wait. I waited over 40 minutes to get out of the drive thru hell and ended up leaving with out ordering and no food. There was no compensation offered for the inconvenience and clearly no contingency plan for this type of situation. I won't be back!!!!! read more

Every time we eat here, we are greeted by friendly people and see others who are always cleaning. The first time we visited, the employee taking our order explained the menu and pointed out the sauce options. For the additional visits, the employees are great about making sure we know the sauce options and the rewards app. The service is consistently excellent. One employee, Robbin, stands out for her exceptional customer service and personable manner. You can tell that the manager cares about their people and customers by how well the employees get along, how attentive they are, and how consistent and delicious the food is.
