I had the finger steaks and fries and I must say, I think they're the best in town. Tender and breaded just right. My husband loved the wing zings so much we went back again today. We came pretty early so we were able to sit in the bar. The bartender was our server today. He was busy multitasking so it did take a minute for him to get to us. Drinks and food were ordered pretty quickly after he took care of us. Besides the wings we also ordered some mozzarella sticks. I also grabbed a soup of the day which was chicken tortilla. Everything came out at the same time. The wing were good as usual. The mozzarella sticks were nice and crunchy on the outside! The cheese pull on the baby was great! Unfortunately I didn't really care for the soup of the day. It had a lot going on. It was the taste for me. Locally owned and a gem of a spot for solid burgers and fries. An added plus is that they do a homemade soup every day and I had the chicken and rice. It was absolutely delicious. There are many TVs for sports fans too. Our server, Thor, was great and hugely helpful to a couple of first timers, and we had a chance to meet the owner,Terry, who was delightful. My family has been avid supporters of B & B for decades, even since they were on Broadway. The last 4 times we've been to lunch, I continue to try either the BLTA or Club (which were our favorites) and all those times the bread was toasted earlier in the day, and it was very dry and cold, which ruined the sandwiches. The chef needs to go back to the "old school" way of toasting it as they make the sandwiches, or start grilling the bread to order. We won't be ordering our standbys as they have changed, which is unfortunate ... I've tried enough. Do better B & B as you know better .. you're just lazy. read more

When the customer comes in you did an amazing job of getting me to a table but no one came to help me till I was packing my things to leave. Then when you take my order if the server could be anywhere on the floor at anytime, would be killer. When adding bacon to a burger try to not let it hang over the plate. I played on the Burger and Brew co ed team for a couple years and ate/drank here every Sunday during softball season. Never had a bad experience EVER. Last Sunday after paddle boarding all day my girlfriends said let's go to B&B. I said HECK YA!! I ordered my all time favorite , finger steaks and house salad with ranch. My girlfriends ordered the stroganoff burger and Russian burger. We shared and everything is excellent!! Worth every cent. Ambience is good, it's kinda rowdy. The guys behind us were having some spirits and laughing loudly. Didn't bother us but could bother those sensitive to noise. Our server Krista, is excellent! Very attentive and professional. She helped me find something gluten free as she sat down next to me in the booth seat. My boss got a hamburger, no tomatoes, and a beer. I got a salad with steak. Also a starter of calamari. When the calamari came out I was expecting something a bit different. That's what you get coming from Washington and end up in a land locked state. Overall it was ok. Nothing special. We decided to go to burger and brew. Being im born and raised in boise i find the food is consistent and i live down the rd so i see it is usually fairley busy. We picked up the order to go i didnt check it before i left and i got home to my finger steaks in the same box as my salad all mixed up to boot. Mixed up or not i called to ask why and got hung up on then i called back and thd guy said we always serve the fingersteaks with salad in a cardboard box. I had to ask if that made sense to serve cold and hot together in a steamy box he said that is how we do it and asked if there is anything else And hung up. There's a guy named Jeff who works there who is probably the friendliest person ever. Our waitress was amazing! And we will definitely be back. Food: get those bam bam shrimp tacos on Friday after 5!! Their prices are some of the best in the valley for food, the portions are generous. They pour their drinks well! My husband can be a pretty picky eater and he loves it when we go here for all their more traditional meat diner fare. This place is a Boise classic (from a Boise Native) in if you haven't been there you should get there soon! I ordered the fish and chips which were great, but the restaurant smelled like urine and the booth was broken and when you sit down it went into places a booth shouldn't touch you. Great spot for brunch and football. The staff is very friendly and really try and make sure your visit is a great one! The food is consistently very good and the portion sizes are always enough for leftovers. This is my neighbor spot. Love the drink prices, the friendly and attentive staff, and the food is always consistent. I've been coming here for years. The soups are awesome, and the Friday night specials are great but they sell out fast so get there early. They get pretty busy during happy hour or when there are softball tournaments at Willow but don't let the full parking lot scare you off, this place staffs accordingly and they're really efficient. My favorite items are the pork and seeds (when they're on the menu), the finger steaks with cocktail sauce, the club on a hoagie roll (I don't like the toasted bread), and the burger with grilled mushrooms and onion.
