Ugh, I've been so disappointed in the last couple trips I've been here! The service has been terrible and the food was far from the quality it used to be! I ate at the restaurant and I don't mind waiting assuming it'll be fresh... only to find overly greasy chicken and and stale fries that seemed like the last of the batch before they had to make more! Normally I would have said something but it was a situation where I was starving and hadn't had anything to eat so I was looking forward to this only to get disappointed! As well as when you get to choose your sauce, one of the ones I picked was gravy, which seemed like it was sitting all day... nasty and coagulated! The first few times I was here it was awesome, though the last few times I've had experiences like I stated above, really all stemming from poor experiences with employees and mediocre chicken! We have stopped in here several times this month due to the kids eat free coupon their website. Great choice, I've eaten pretty much everything in the menu, all tasted fabulous, played games, watched sporting events, had a great time with friends, and left full every time. The chicken tenders looked good but has a fatty, unchewable pieces inside each one. Never again.

First timer at Slim Chickens!! I went through the drive thru and was pleased to be greeted by the Manager, who was nice enough to come say hi and make sure I didn't have any questions. The chicken tenders aren't caked on with tons of batter, which I really liked! The cayenne ranch is one of the best parts of the meal! Definitely recommend that sauce over the slim sauce. The slim sauce was good but the cayenne ranch had that nice kick! I ordered the garlic Parmesan as my wing sauce. The wing sauce was delicious! I really like that slim chickens uses actual Parmesan and not dusty/fake Parmesan powder that some places use for wings. Overall a great experience at slim chickens!! read more

This place is pretty good and I actually like it better than Cane's. My chicken fingers and fries were fresh and hot and well seasoned. The Texas toast was tasty and had the perfect amount of butter. The only disappointment was the cookie I ordered which was honestly pretty disgusting. My bad for ordering a cookie from here though. Overall, when I want chicken fingers I will definitely be back because the food is good! read more

First time going here and it probably was my last. I was excited to eat here as I love chicken tenders and fries. Ordered the classic basket. Waited 15 minutes and was served. Upon picking up my first tender, the bottom side was mushy and wet. I looked at the other 3 and they were all the same. Slimy and wet. I took them up to the counter and they replaced my basket politely. The second round was barely better than the first and the chicken had too much fat/tendon for a tender. I ate 2 1/2 and tossed the rest. There are so many other options out there, I don't see why I'd come back here. read more

A must try!! I don't even like chicken that much, but this place impressed me!! I ordered the "3&3" which is 3 tenders and three wings!! Served with French fries and toast. My friends took me to this place for the first time. This place is amazing! Best fast food chicken I have ever had. I was shocked at how delicious the food was. This was my first experience at any Slim Chickens. I arrived before my husband which was a good thing so I could tell him he needed to turn in at Panda Express to be able to reach the parking lot. Right now there isn't a direct entrance from the service road of 635 to their parking lot. I didn't want him to miss the entrance and then have to circle around. This is of no fault or reflect about the restaurant. More of a tip. When we got there an employee greeted us and made us feel very welcomed as well as explaining the menu. We opted to order 5 grilled tenders with coleslaw instead of fries and the cayenne ranch chicken sandwich. We also got 2 dipping sauces (mango habanero and slims sauce). We split everything to be able to try a little more. The tenders--I felt that they were seasoned well. You didn't "have to have" a sauce to eat them. They were tender and not dry. The sandwich--We felt that it needed a bit more spice and got up to get some hot sauce. We loved how lightly breaded the chicken was. In general it was good. The slaw. We were not a fan of this. The cabbage was fine but it was swimming in sauce. I would eat her again and try other things. read more

Have tried this place twice now, not impressed. The "slim sauce" is very bland, virtually tasteless. The breading on the chicken fingers is chewy not crunchy, and the Texas toast is dry thin slices of bread. I went here the other day for lunch. This was my first time trying the restaurant, so I walked in to look at the menu instead of going through the drive thru. I placed my order, but I asked for more fries instead of the texas toast it comes with. The two cashiers were confused and did not know how to handle the order. They asked their mgr I guess, and he went on to lecture me on how they don't normally substitute fries for the bread, yada yada... I did not realize it took an act of Congress to get a side substituted, especially since if I did get the texas toast, I would just throw it away without taking a bite of it. I'm crazy in that I do not like wasting food and besides, I thought the customer was always right. This was too much of a hassle, so I decided to walk out and go to a place that would get me the type of food I wanted to eat and not pay for any waste. I will never go here again. I've had this place twice but the second time really sealed the deal. If you like wings this is not the place to go - they are not cooked to order, sitting around back there somewhere for a while. On both visits the person behind the counter had no idea about the spice levels of their various wing sauces, and 3 people behind the register barely acknowledged me for half a minute after I stepped up. Back at the office I accidentally knocked my open container of blue cheese over onto the table and... none of it spilled out, its more like flavored mayo or something. No exaggeration, their hottest sauce would barely be medium at other places. This place needs quality control and a better product all around. read more

Go to spot for something quick and easy. There was a time in which the chicken wasn't cook correctly but lately everything seems to be on point. I recommend the chicken tenders shaken in honey bbq. Also if you get chicken and waffles, you should ask for the waffle to be crispy, otherwise it's a chewy soggy mess. Customer service here is great and employees are very polite. read more

Skip it and go to Raising Cane's as it's far better! Had a to go order and chicken was not crispy and part of it tasted dry. The Texas toast was nothing more than white bread cut into triangle shape and mine was flat as a pancake...folks, that is NOT what Texas toast is supposed to be like. The 'slim sauce' was absolutely awful as well as the garlic parmesan sauce. The fries were not seasoned and sadly after I had eaten a few, I found a hair embedded in the fries (long/dark hair). Tenders don't have a ton of breading but stay very tender and have good flavor. Lots of variety with the side options and dipping sauces. Clean restaurant and friendly faces. We'll definitely be back; glad this place opened so close to us! read more

Just tried this place for the 1st time tonight. Chicken fingers, Texas toast, side of Mac and Cheese. Price was reasonable. I got 5 fingers with just enough breading to have some texture but not so much that you couldn't taste the chicken. Cayenne Ranch dipping sauce was great! Mac and cheese was white cheddar - a nice surprise! Beat part, I don't have that overly full feeling. Good fresh food that will definitely bring me back! read more

First time here. Just want to say, I will be back to try something different. I ordered the wings plate - Buffalo Wings w/Fries, dipping sauce and a drink. Not a bad price. However I was disappointed with the wings. If you have ever had the naked wings from the deli at Walmart, you will find a very similar taste. Almost seemed like someone took my wings out of the box and filled it with Wamart Deli wings. I was expecting something of a higher level maybe something similar or better than Wingstop.
