The sauce here is totally boss! Not to salty and just the right type of tangy. Highly recommend slim chickens (ranch). read more

Slim Chickens - The aftermath - Chicken Wings Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

Had been to this place before so I was in Amarillo and thought I'd stop, but Wow what a mistake...very unfriendly staff don't think I ever saw a smile, cold chicken, not the amount that I even asked for. So ya you get the point, don't think I will be gracing them with my presence anytime in the near future... read more

I came and I order to go since it was pretty busy. Everyone had a mask on but one manager woman who you could tell she was not in a good mood had her mask in her neck the entire time. Everyone else was very friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time I wasn't sure what to get and they were pretty patient. The chicken was good, French fries were not my favorite but my girls liked them. I order the waffle with chicken, waffle was big and thick and it has the figure of Texas state which was pretty cool. The sauces for the chicken were pretty good, my favorite was the spicy barbecue. Bathrooms were very clean and they have a terraza which was nice. I was going to get my drink and they actually serve it for you. I think the only reason why I will give a 4 stars is because of that woman manager not wearing her face mask and showing that she was not in a good mood. Everyone else was great! read more

Delivery is not a good option, items were substituted without asking my permission. Slim chicken's blamed the delivery service and delivery service blamed the restaruant. The management at slim chicken's handled problam horribly and eventually hung up on me read more

New Favorite place to eat!! I've heard the owner is from Pampa, Tx... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING SLIM CHICKENS TO PAMPA!!! Great food, fun atmosphere, kid friendly, helfpul and kind staff. Slim Chickens - Love this - Chicken Wings Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

We waited over 20 minutes for our food. Normally wouldn't have been a problem, but when we received our dinner, everything was either lukewarm, cold, or soggy! Didn't make sense to wait over 20 minutes just for our food to come out and not be fresh. Our cashier also wasn't in the best mood or just didn't want to be at the restaurant. When bringing our food, she tossed and slid our plates across the table, no syrup for the waffles, utensils for our salads, and didn't even apologize for the wait. Customer service could've been better, food could've been better, just overall an eh experience. read more

Was in here 2 days ago price was reasonable peach tea was good chicken tenders were small and still had feather pieces so I couldn't finish I'll stick with chicken express and their excellent sweet tea. Texas toast blah. Nothing to write home about not impressed at all read more

We used to love this place and frequent it often. The last 4 or 5 times have been less than satisfactory. Every time we go we wait at least 20 minutes and our food is cold. The chicken and fries taste like they have been sitting out for hours and are stale and soggy. The time before last they completely forgot our order while in the drive through. Staff isn't very friendly. We have decided to stop giving them chances and won't be eating there anymore. Might as well go down the street to Buffalo Wild Wings - at least they serve hot food. read more

Ordered two Slims salads with grilled chicken. Salad greens were fresh and crispy and the chicken was delicious. Great salads at a reasonable price. Customer service was on point too. read more

Place is trashy, the workers are rude, cleaning/ putting up 2 and a half hours before they close. Sweeping next to customers feet as they're eating meals. Place just feels dirty. read more

Just went and ordered the largest strip meal that they had, and was disappointed I didn't get any of the Texas toast that was advertised or get to try any of the sauces, as they left the two that I chose out of the mea.l I wasn't able to go back and there's no phone number on the receipt to call. The chicken and fries tasted good, but they advertise so many different sauces that you can try I feel jilted. Hopefully we can just mark this up to grand opening issues, and it won't happen again. At least I hope not. read more

My husband and I got takeout from Slim Chickens two weeks ago. We were very excited to try it out! However, my meal was wrong and both our meals were very cold. We don't live far from them so weren't too thrilled about the cold food. I reached out to corporate to let them know and I never heard back. I wanted to be fair as I always try to be but ignoring my teaching out, we will not be going back. My husband really prefers Raising Canes so we will go there. read more

The food is very good the service is very good but on rainy days or snow days you don't want to drive through the drops of water right into your vehicle not good read more

Fast service friendly staff didn't complain about it being almost closing time if we're ever back in Texas will definitely stop again

This was a pleasant stop for lunch. The service was outstanding. Numerous employees seen serving and busing tables, keeping the busy restaurant clean. The manager was noticeably visible behind the counter and making rounds in the dining area. The food itself was good. The fries were average, the tenders were fresh and crisp, all in all what you'd expect from a fast casual chicken restaurant. I would certainly stop in again, try some different sauces, and leave satisfied. Thank you for the lunch, Slim Chickens! read more

Ordered a salad and asked for the fried chicken and no tomatoes with ranch. They didn't give me any chicken in my salad, It was full of tomatoes (which i'm allergic too) and didn't have any ranch either. On top of that they didn't give me the right drinks I ordered either. It was delivered and there phones were busy so I couldn't get it fixed. Don't order food from here ‍ you'd think they would be able to do a basic request especially for an allergy. read more

Wonderful food- surprisingly good for being "fast food." This did not taste like fast food at all. We ordered pick up and the manager actually called us when our order was ready to make sure we were coming to pick up our food fresh. Great chicken tenders, wonderful buffalo salad and unbeatable customer service! read more

My husband and I went the day after they opened. They were super packed but got us in and ordered fairly quickly. They have a pretty big variety of chicken and have about 8-12 sauces (I don't remember the exact number) but the chipotle ranch and the honey bbq was delicious. The Slims sauce they had was okay, very different. The employees were walking around taking everyone's trash and asking if we needed refills. The restaurant almost has a jazz feel to it. Very nice inside. Very worth checking out! read more

The 3 stars are for the food. The service has been ok the 2 times I ate there. I get no one wants to work right now. This second time I ended up sitting where I could see the kitchen. Not one person wearing a hairnet. A young man with long greasy hair kept slinging his head to shake the hair from his eyes while handling food in the kitchen. Girl at register was handling money, people's food, eating at the counter by people's food, touching her nose and face without washing hands or gloves. Long hair in a messy ponytail. The employees look unclean and need traing. read more

It was my first visit so I asked the cashier which sauces she recommended and she said ketchup. Goodness, this place is known for their sauces so it was disappointing that the cashier wasn't familiar with her own menu and tastings. The place was kept quiet cold so when my food was brought out, it was immediately made cold as well because of the environment. I will try it again in hopes that it was just an off day. read more

Not horrible. Their customer service is decent and the chicken is fresh. The fries could have been as fresh as the chicken but that's rare in the fast food industry. I mean, you're making me wait 15 minutes for my wings, which is understandable, you can at least give me fresh fries. Lost a few stars because we encountered, on our first visit, a rude person in the drive through window. We were then each stiffed a wing. We paid for 8 and each got 7 which is odd and since it happened to both of us it seems to be on purpose. Count your wings, people. read more

Really good food and good service. Glad to have stopped here when we were hungry from driving all day. The food was very filling and worth stopping by. read more

My first visit and it was really good. The chicken has great flavor and the fries were good. I like the large choice but of dipping sauces. I will return and recommend this a a big chicken eater myself. The restaurant is clean and has a nice layout and the employees are super friendly and helpful since I had never been to this restaurant before. read more

Great food, even better service. Highly recommend, but the food is made to order so be prepared to wait a few extra minutes.

Not impressed. Got the 3 wing 3 tender meal w/Mac 'n cheese and a medium drink. Wings were tasteless (ordered them plain so I could try different sauces) and dry, tenders a tad undercooked. Best part of the meal was the Mac 'n cheese. Hardly worth $10. One and done! read more

Received food poisoning from the food. Do NOT eat here! I know this is what made me sick because it is all I ate that day before I became sick. read more

This place is going downhill and fast...... This is the second time in a row that we didn't have the right dipping sauces. And today we didn't even get our toast. took a long time to get my food about 15 minutes... then I open it when I get home I have a toast that looks like this and 1 wing that was naked... I mean the wing was fine still but this bread looks like someone picked pieces off of it... read more

Slim Chickens - the toast I got in my meal looks like someone was picking at it... - Chicken Wings Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

Been waiting 25min for a chicken sandwich. Not sure where they're broken, but they need some management oversight.

All i can say they are better than raising cains and chicken express there chicken n waffles are amazing

The person who served us was really rude and apparently he didn't even want to sell us

The food was bland. I like the idea and the design of the menu and restaurant, but the actual food is undesirable. The employees were ok nothing special , no exceptional service. read more

Love their Waffles and Chicken but was sorely disappointed yesterday. While food was good the establishment was filthy. None of the tables had been cleaned after previous customers, drink bar was dirty and tea canisters were empty, trash bin had food spills all around, floor dirty-literally everywhere you looked was disgusting. I hope management steps up as this used to be a family friendly place. read more

The chicken strips taste like they were fried in a skillet just like grandma used to.

My real rating is zero. After the last fiasco with this place I said that I would never go there again but they were having a chicken and waffles special and my wife likes chicken and waffles so I gave them another try. Put my on-line order in 45 minutes before pickup time. Got there and no order. Endured 4 separate people asking me my name, spelling my name, showing the order on the phone, pointing to my name on the phone and no action and finally got tired of it. Got the manager out of her office and supposedly will get a refund in 7-10 days. Worst part of this was it is obvious that no one there cares about the customer at all or that they didn't have my order. Just like last time 10-12 people standing around BSing or sitting in the dining room and eating (maybe that's what happended to my order). I can't emphacize enough- STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! read more

This is one of the best chicken places in Amarillo. I got the garlic parm shaken tenders and they were actually amazing. 10/10 would get again. But the second time that I went I thought I'd try something new AKA the fried pickles. The pickles were okay at first but I soon realized they were WAYY WAYY too salty. I'd recommend adding less salt to the fried pickle batter before I order them again. Honestly this probably the best premier fast food chicken place in Amarillo, I go very often, and definitely recommend if you some chicken! read more

This was ridiculous. I was literally the only one in the restaurant and it took them almost half an hour to give me 1 meal. They only had 3/12 sides available which is really irritating. I mean what fried chicken place doesn't have fries? The bathrooms were disgusting. The lady serving me was very rude. I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star. read more

We showed up at 9:45pm and they told us we had to take it to go because the dining area closed at 10pm. In the food industry, if a customer shows up 5 minutes before you close then tough. Honestly, the times we picked up in drive thru, the chicken seemed undercooked. It had a weird texture to it, almost rubbery. We dont even bother with this place anymore. read more

First visit to Slim Chickens and we had a terrible experience. The food literally took 19 minutes to get to our table and the fries were still not fresh. The table next to us came in after us, ate and left before we were served our food. The owners of the restaurant need to fire Brendan the manager and hire someone that knows how to run a restaurant. They close at 10pm and at 9:45 they had the chairs pushed aside and they were running the loud floor cleaning machine. They had the beverage center closed down, so no more lemonade, and when I spoke with the cashier she said they are trying to get out early. Hire people that want to work and serve customers for the operating hours or change your hours. I'm not going back. read more

Refused service because I did not have a mask, I have a medical reason, they don't care, absolutely ridiculous. Will never go back
