This small bakery is a gem!…read more The desserts are delicious and reasonably priced, though the cakes can be a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for. They can make any dream cake come to life, no matter how elaborate. The shop is small but cute, and they offer cake classes for kids, which I think is such a unique and fun idea. My favorites to try are the carrot cake slice, cookies (every flavor), and their cannolis, which are always fresh. The hispanic owner is a sweetheart and very accommodating. Definitely recommend!

And immediately I knew God is awesome!! I was stranded in the auto zone across the street waiting for a tow truck for over 4 hrs in the blazing scorching heat and When finally I left to walk home. Heaven opened up its doors and all I saw was " there should always be cake" their prices are ridiculous reasonable. I feel like they need to up $ the prices of their delicious desserts and drinks. Cost of living is up. Their beautiful dessertsand DELICIOUS COLd coffee blend. Yummmmm!! Worth every penny. For whaat its worth I felt amazing sitting here indulging while listening to my favorite christian songs. The establishment feels like its a tiny gem from a lifetime movie and I am here for this !! Super clean. Did I mention super cute seating area. Please don't come and eat all the desserts leave me some. Show some love and support to this bakery. Its adorable.

I was initially lured in by the good Yelp reviews. I liked that I could do everything online, I had a particular vision for what I wanted my birthday cake to look like and they communicated with me via email that could make my vision come true. I had a birthday celebration at a restaurant, which I asked The Evercake to have delivered directly to the restaurant. The delivery was smooth and the restaurant had the cake before I even got there. The cake was very cute and did look like what I had pictured. But...what I majorly disliked was the actual taste of the cake and being misled about what the contents of the cake would be. I selected the strawberry shortcake option for my cake and what I got was not what I thought it would be. I think it's quite normal for a strawberry shortcake to have like...real strawberries in between the layers. My cake didn't really have that, and if it did it was hidden in all the strawberry jam that there instead. I was not a fan of the cake texture too and the cream outside of the cake. Overall I felt so sad that I was feeding this to my friends and I told them that they didn't have to finish it because I wasn't going to either. So embarrassing :( Would you believe that this flop of a cake was nearly $200? And that's after the 10% coupon. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it wasn't completely bad, but the cake not tasting good was the biggest thing for me. I would have preferred it the other way around at least, like if the service was so bad but the cake tasted amazing, but unfortunately that was not the case for me. After digging through the reviews some more, I found that this happened to another customer as well. I wish I had seen their review before ordering a "strawberry" shortcake from here lol dang

The cakes here are delicious. They are known for the Boston Cream pie but everything is great…read more The workers are courteous & professional. In a part of Morris Park that's changed, Conti's is a great asset. My constructive criticism on Conti's. I ordered 2 cakes online. Paid in full for both last week. They gave me a pickup window 9AM. I show up early & there's a big line. I ask a worker & she says there's 1 line. She states there's 1 line for picking up a cake paid in full, ordering a new cake, getting coffee, getting pastries. Guys NO GOOD! Why pay in full & order a week prior? You should have 2/3 lines. 1 line picking up cakes paid in full only. 1 bread line only. 1 line for new orders. I mean this criticism as constructive

I remember when Conties would price the specialty cheesecakes to $30-$35 max. a 12inch pistatchio cheesecake is $46???? i know for a fact the employees dont get paid enough for the price of a cheesecake to increase that dramatically. one of the girls said the pies/cakes are made a week before they're sold, so the price on soon to expire pastries is insane. for $46 dollars I can get a larger and better quality cheesecake in Manhattan. The ladies behind the counter look unhappy and find every request to be inconvenient. this place is definitely ripping you off. UPDATE: I opened the box of cookies for my friend, she reached for the first cookie and as soon as she took a bite, she pulled out a blond hair from the cookie. $22 dollars for cookies full of hair. I'm never going back.
