My wife and I made the trip from Queens to the Bronx specifically to try Conti's Boston Cream Pie,…read moreand it was absolutely worth the ride! The cake was incredibly fresh and truly delicious. The sponge was wonderfully light and moist--exactly what you want in a Boston Cream Pie. What makes Conti's version a little different, and very special, is the filling. Most Boston Cream Pies I've had use a thicker, denser vanilla custard. Conti's filling is much lighter, almost like a vanilla mousse, which pairs beautifully with the delicate sponge and rich chocolate topping. It's their own spin on this classic dessert, and it works! Everything was fresh, light and delicious without being overly heavy or sweet. If you love Boston Cream Pie, making the trip to the Bronx for Conti's version is a well-worth-it excursion. We certainly will be back!

They have things ranging from "classic" candies, to homemade vegan (as well as non-vegan) options. Personally, my favorite that I'd recommend to anyone that stops by, are their homemade vegan options; like their vegan chocolate chip icecream made with rice milk. Delicious! I'm looking forward to seeing what more vegan options they offer. Seeing as how the neighborhood doesn't have many vegan friendly businesses, this is greatly appreciated. You can also tell the careful attention to detail they have in their work.

As a newcomer to Yonkers, I was especially happy to learn what's in my area. I decided to stop in on a Saturday afternoon to check it out. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted warmly by a woman whom I assume is the owner. The shop is small but filled with a variety of treats and almost anything you can think of - ice cream, candy bars, lollipops, candy themed gifts, and drinks, as well as baked treats like cupcakes. I specifically wanted to try the cupcakes because they claimed to have a #1 best selling blue velvet cake. I ended up purchasing 2 lollipops and 2 cupcakes (blue velvet and vanilla). The blue velvet cupcake was just OK, in my opinion. The cake was soft with a nice buttercream frosting, but nothing that blew me away or stood out to me as THE best I've ever had. I did not end up eating the vanilla cupcake due to an unrelated illness later that weekend. Nonetheless, it was nice to finally try this establishment out. In terms of service, the woman who helped me was super sweet and kind. She also thanked me and wished me well upon leaving. The store itself appeared clean and organized and I really liked the variety of offerings. Some of my favorite childhood candies were readily available and overall pricing was fair. I'd return in the future for their candy selections but I don't think it would be my go-to for baked goods. Highly recommended otherwise!

My lil ladies were shocked because if it's not some kind of coffee flavor or a flavor without any kind of nuts, then it's a no for me. This ice cream was smooth and creamy with lil minis of caramel pieces blended in. Not too overly sweet, just a tad bit of salty notes. Absolutely no freezer burn pieces of ice, a lot of other ice cream shops be having this issue, but this was so good I brought a pint to take home along with a waffle bowl. I will be back to visit for plenty spring and warm summer nights. Two thumbs up! Happy Yelping!
