Stopped in to grab a quick treat and was so glad that I did! The owner was very nice and recommended the banana pudding. The storefront is located in mt. Vernon and metered street parking is available. The store is small, clean and has glass display cases with freshly made goods. There were not a lot of items available due to most of the sweet treats having been sold because of Mother's Day. We grabbed a six pack of beautifully decorated cupcakes which included red velvet, Dubai style, banana and chocolate. The cupcakes were moist and flavorful. I also picked up a small banana pudding which was so good with layers of fresh bananas and vanilla wafers. The venue also has a cupcake food truck which is available for parties and events. I visited the shop before ordering, I was able to taste two cupcakes for the flavor of the cake before deciding on which flavors to choose. The ordering process was super easy, I sent a few pictures of the concept I wanted to go with and they delivered the perfect cake. The flavor was delicious our top layer was vanilla cake with buttercream and the bottom layer was a pineapple coconut cake with fresh pineapple, it was delicious. Or more specifically, let's discuss Vegan brownies, because these babies I got at Cupcake Cutie in New Rochelle are my favorite: they're moist, dark cocoaey and rich (ate one while driving). Rundown? Without fail- Cupcake Cutie always carries Vegan brownies. As far as Vegan cupcakes or pies, those you do need to give these ladies ample time (I think 2 or 3 days) for making them. Want to point out even when I asked about offering Vegan items on a daily, Edwina(?) explained they don't because it's not a quick turn-around- and I can see that. I looked on their menu, which desperately needs updating for prices, and found that they had some awesome red velvet cupcakes. I waited until they opened the next day and called. They said that no one checked messaged at the business and they would also look into their website issues.
