I spoke with Chrissy Liptrot through email and she assured me that she could make me a vegan cake that was also coconut and nut free. She was great with communication and I was able to pick up the cake early the day that I needed it. Although it wouldn't have been an issue, no deposit was needed and I paid cash upon pickup! With my daughter having different food sensitivities, I was happy I was able to find a place in the area to make her a birthday cake! She seemed to really enjoy it! I ordered a vegan cake for my boyfriends birthday on short notice (1 1/2 day in advance) and WOW did Chrissy deliver! The two layer vanilla cake with chocolate frosting was so soft and fluffy! Even after keeping it in the fridge for hours! Even though most of his friends aren't vegan they all loved it! A 15 person cake was eaten by 7 guys in one sitting! I was so happy to find a vegan bakery in the Westchester area for a friend's birthday - the ordering process was easy, as was pick-up. I ordered a vegan Birthday cake and I couldn't be happier. It was absolutely delicious!!! The cake wasn't dry or dense like some vegan cakes can be. It was fluffy and moist. The frosting was yummy. It can be hit or miss with vegan baked goods but this was spot on. Add to that the great customer service Chrissy provided was superb. This will be my new go to for yummy vegan treats.
