Local fav! Natural gourmet pizza is the best on the beach! Yum!

Pizza is so so. Nothing great. Of course, finding good pizza on the outer banks is about as hard as finding a great seafood house. Go figure. There are 5 bar stools and 4 small tables with 4 seats each--unless you care to sit outside. That's not an option with little kids and grandma when it's July/august and 99 degrees. Slack-jawed teen behind the counter is too busy to get my son a plate as he is busy folding pizza boxes. These people must write their own reviews. read more

I have been to Slice many, many times. I have been there when it is super busy and in the off season. One thing is always the same... it is ALWAYS good! Seating is limited even with the additional outdoor area. Service is friendly. We prefer to make Italian dishes at home, so we mostly stick with ordering pizza at Slice. Swung by here on Black Friday after humoring my wife at the outlets. I got two slices of Natural Guormet and my wife got a slice of meat lovers pizza. Excellent pizza. Flavorful crunchy crust, plenty of toppings, and the best fresh mozzarella I think I've ever had on a pizza. We will definately be back! read more

Hands down the best pizza on the outer banks. Try to get the Sausage-roasted red pepper pizza as often as I can. Bummed they stopped the BOGO offer on Wednesdays but Monday's dollar slice deal is good too read more

Ate there in June while down in the banks. Me and my wife split the magherita pizza. It was hands down one of the best pizzas I have ever had. They have a large variety of specialty pizzas, a friendly staff and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. When I picked up the pizza it was slammed so I had to wait a little to get my pizza, but it was well worth the wait. I would highly recommend Slice to anyone. read more

Amazing!! I'm from Buffalo, NY and live in FL and never can find good Pizza anymore, this was top notch!! We ordered a large, extra pepperoni 'NY Style' Pizza. It was super greasy, tons of pepperoni, and cooked just right! When you walk in (we were there at 11:20am) there are tons of different pizzas and knots that you can order individually. They also have a really nice outside area you can sit and enjoy your food. Everything else looked amazing and I'm sure it is! Great Price, perfect amounts and great food! read more

My fiancé and I were having trouble finding places to eat in Nags Head, but we came across this little joint. We come from a beach town ourselves, so we try to avoid all touristy restaurants. However, this felt so genuine and laid back. The service was prompt, and the pizza was amazing! Between the two of us, we got three pizza slices and a salad. It was all well-worth the value! The only complaint I have is the little amount of seating space available. However, they still try to accommodate this by providing seating outside. Pizza was ready when they said it would be for carry out. 1 medium cheese and 1 medium pepperoni. Both had slightly burned crust :(. Went to pay and they didn't accept American Express as a form of payment. Had to dig through my wallet and find my business check card that luckily I had with me. I moved down here from NJ and finding good pizza was hard to come by. We tried a few places in the area and they were okay, but nothing special, until we tried Slice. I love the variety of pizzas to choose from and their sauce is on point. The grandma pie is one of my favorites, but to be honest, there is anything I've tried that I didn't like. Great food and selection. This gem is located next to Duck Donuts KDH and offers a large variety of pizza by the slice, pasta and subs. The crust for is amazingly soft, airy and crispy. We sampled the Chicago style and the regular crust and both came out perfectly. This is our new go to place for a quick meal. read more

Pizza wasn't that bad. Apparently we came on a bad day for the staff. We were greeting at the door by a loud "shut the door" as our family of 7 worked their way in. The 2 employees seemed overwhelmed by our family along with another group of 10 that walked in at the same time. Hopefully the customer service improves to at least the quality of the food. read more

Came in tonight 1/16/20 around 6:30. Havent even gotten to the cottage to eat the food but I'm LIVID that my boyfriend and I were just accused of stealing a freaking 2 liter sprite. My boyfriend and I ordered out food and after we realized that we didnt have drinks in our airbnb so he got back in the line and ordered a second order, only a 2 liter sprite. When our food came out my boyfriend went to the register to get our sprite we had ordered. The same boy who rang my boyfriend up BOTH TIMES swore we didnt order the sprite and they werent going to give it to us because they supposedly couldnt find the receipt on the register. I asked the kid if he remembered talking to my boyfriend the second time and he said yeah but he didnt remember the sprite. The lady obviously running the shift just gave us the sprite. The guy didnt even charge my boyfriend the right menu price for the sprite, on the menu its 2.50, change wouldve been 2.50. My boyfriend only got charged for 2.00 so 3 dollars change. When he came up to the register to get the sprite the boy told him the total would be 2.70 so he gave him the menu price. LOL I work in restaurant management and if i didnt know any better about slick employees Id say he pocketed an easy 5 dollar from a cash order and gave us our change. Someone needs to check the cameras because it was also very embarrassing being called a liar when I watched my boyfriend buy the drink. Dont know how the food will be but just ask for a receipt if you ever order food. read more

Don't bother ordering a salad. The cesar salad I had was meh. Not bad. But not excellent. This is a pizzeria. So just order the pizza! My mother ordered 2 slices of pizza that had fresh spinach, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, oregano. It was tasty indeed. My husband had a slice of deep dish that he really enjoyed. And my son, loyal to the plain cheese, really enjoyed his slice as well. Seating is a little tight inside. But they do have outdoor seating as well. And they will bring you your food after you order it inside. They have beer too! It was a nice little place to take the family where everyone can get their own slice of whatever they want because they have plenty of options to choose from! read more

Yummy! They do the standard pizzas fantastically (pepperoni, cheese, supreme, etc....) but you definitely need to try the Natural Gourmet. Your tummy will thank you :) read more

This place is Pricey. 20 bucks for a large pepperoni pizza (30 for a large meat lovers), but it's well worth it to me. PLUS, they have a white pizza that is to die for! I have never eaten in only ordered take-out, but the take-out guy was friendly and fast. They told me it'd be over an hour and it only took 30 mins! Awesome. I'll definitely be back. read more

Wanted a place that sold pizza by the slice and found this location on our hotel card. I'm pretty glad we went here, I only got two slices of Margherita pizza but boy was it good. Good NY Style pizza. A little pricey in comparison to the chain pizza, but much better. 2 specialty 16'' pies will cost you cost to $50.

Could have given it 4.5 but there was no dining room to speak of. There were some seats but we had to sit outside because there were 9 of us. Now that the complaining is done...the pizza was very good. Also had some Garlic knots which made for good dippin'. All of us had all sorts of slices and all were very happy. I had the meat lovers and supreme slices. With a garlic knot and that was quite enough. The dippin' sauce was very good too. Pizza was a 5 but the dining arrangements was 2-3. I'm torn, one visit it will taste like NY-style pizza and the next visit it really doesn't. I think the crust gets too thick and not cooked enough sometimes when they are really pushing the pizzas out. The place has a great selection of gourmet pizzas...but I just don't think they get cooked enough sometimes...and/or there is too much moisture in the sauce or dough. The toppings need to be cooked a little more too. With that being said, it's worth a visit. Certainly better than most pizza places in OBX, with the exception of the Pizza Stop in Kitty Hawk at the bypass... read more

Pizza was OK, great selection of slices. Garlic knots were good and the chicago style pizza. Go when it is warm so you can eat outside or take it to go. The inside is cramped and loud, very limited seating, biggest table is for 4 people. read more
