The place actually has decent pizza, pasta and garlic knots. Place is new, clean and even has outdoor seating. The pizza is served new york style, but they also have stuffed crust. The reason I can't give it 4 stars is that the vegetable pizzas come out a bit wet. They need to figure a way to get the moisture out before so they do not leak onto the pizza. Pizza here is tasty. Very oily, but i suppose that goes with any pizza. The only reason they got 4 instead of 5 is because in order to get a slice, you can only get what they have already made. It would have taken over an hour to get a slice of Chicago style pepperoni. I understand you can only get what is available, but they didn't have much variety ready. read more

Love the fact that you can buy by the slice! One way to please everyone on the family. I had the Chicago style with pepperoni and sausage. It want exactly the Chicago pizza I'm used to but I was happy with it! It's warm when I got it and hit the spot. They offer plenty of different options for slice only or you can order a whole pie. They also have garlic knots and salads. Salad had lettuce, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes and an olive. Pretty good for a side salad! read more

Really good pizza. In house preparation totally. By the pie or slice. Their crust is hand tossed and made fresh in house. This is what pizza crust is supposed to be people...They have several other offerings that we certainly plan to partake of in the future. I also had the daily special of chicken Marsala, very very good chicken dish that I was served, but there wasn't a hint of Marsala in the dish. More like a cacciatore but boneless. None the less, it was fresh and delicious regardless. Skip the Cesar salad.... I may have went five stars if it were a true Marsala and a fresh salad. Its old school order at the register also. Stopped in for dinner on Friday night. The moment I walked i was questioning my choice. Went to order pizza by the slice and my wife asked for mushroom and pepperoni they said we don't have it and are to busy to make more. So we just got pepperoni slices anD garlic nots. Food was terrible, the pizza tasted like just cheese no sauce or flavor. THe garlic nots were worthless. It was just dinner rolls with garlic seasoning on top. The lady at the register was super rude and not helpful at all. Will not go back and I do not recommend this joke of a pizza place. read more

Very dissapointed. Called in at 9:06 and girl answered and right away said we are closing now. They are open until 9:30pm ( saturday labor day weekend ) who does that on a holiday weekend??? I usually always get pizza from here but not this week. Found another lizza place open until 11pm and will give them a shot. read more

My wife and I went for it and got a cheese steak (extra cheese), slices of cheese and natural gourmet (amazing) pizza, Italian Sausage roll, and a side salad. All of it was great and we recommend trying all of these yourself! The staff was also very helpful and helped us pick out all of these tasty items. The food was cooked quickly and was very hot. The only thing to mention is that it's a little small inside. They have an outside eating area, but it can get a little squeezed in there. But, all in all it adds to the charm and 'hole in the wall' feel. Great place! read more

Visiting from out of town, hotel recommended Slice. I called, and the woman who answered was clearly in a foul mood. I told her the name of the (major) hotel where we were staying, and stated to provide the address, which she interrupted with, "I need a PRECISE street address!" which is what I was giving her. I gave it to her again, and then, "What do you wanna order?" I ordered a white pizza with broccoli and sausage;, pizza arrived without sausage. I'd paid cash on delivery, so wasn't expecting any money back, but did want to provide feedback that due to their poor customer service on the phone, they'd gotten the order wrong. They should do better. I did expect an apology. Instead, the young lady on the phone - the same one I'd placed my order with - proceeded to argue, yelling "I read it back, I read it back to you!" Which she hadn't, actually she was far too curt on my initial call to read anything back. She was just plain rude, and management should know that she is having a negative impact on their business. A quick apology would have gone a long way. read more

Good pizza, but get it to go! They can seat 8 people inside and if it is raining don't count on it being you and your family. Multiple tables outside with umbrellas, so still a good choice on clear days. Would give it 4-5 stars if it wasn't geared more for to go orders. Not a fan of eating in the hotel. read more

I admittedly am a NY pizza snob so when I ate here I was expecting an ok slice. Holy moly, I was impressed. I actually asked who the owner was, turns out he is from Brooklyn. Pizza is so so. Nothing great. Of course, finding good pizza on the outer banks is about as hard as finding a great seafood house. Go figure. There are 5 bar stools and 4 small tables with 4 seats each--unless you care to sit outside. That's not an option with little kids and grandma when it's July/august and 99 degrees. Slack-jawed teen behind the counter is too busy to get my son a plate as he is busy folding pizza boxes. These people must write their own reviews. read more

I have been to Slice many, many times. I have been there when it is super busy and in the off season. One thing is always the same... it is ALWAYS good! Seating is limited even with the additional outdoor area. Service is friendly. We prefer to make Italian dishes at home, so we mostly stick with ordering pizza at Slice. Swung by here on Black Friday after humoring my wife at the outlets. I got two slices of Natural Guormet and my wife got a slice of meat lovers pizza. Excellent pizza. Flavorful crunchy crust, plenty of toppings, and the best fresh mozzarella I think I've ever had on a pizza. We will definately be back! read more
