We found Slice on our first day at the beach. I had two slices of the margherita and my daughter had a slice of pepperoni. A little expensive but tasty. She went back for more slices later in the week. Seating inside but a bit small. It got crowded but no one seemed to mind. We didn't. There is also outdoor seating on a side patio. Every year that my family vacations here we try to find a pizza place and usually leave disappointed but Slice changed our minds! Five of us stopped by for dinner, sat outside and ordered five house salads, garlic knots and their Endless Summer pizza. The salads were OK. A bit watery and the ranch dressing was kinda bland. The garlic knots were delicious but the pizza was the star of this meal. The endless summer is a 16' pizza with five toppings of your choice. With five grown adults eating, we still took a slice or two home with us. The crust was hand tossed and was perfectly cooked. it wasn't greasy like you get at some other places. Another plus to this place is that everything is fresh and handmade in the store! The only downside was the cost. For our meal it was around $60. but then again, when you are on vacation you are allowed to splurge, right? read more

This place would get 5 stars anywhere in my book! Great prices, awesome food, family owned... clean - air conditioned... and the selection is phenomenal. Every time i go to OBX - i stop here. you should too - if you want good pizza... in fact theres a donut shop next door.. show up early - eat donuts while you wait for them to open! We had delivery to our rental beach house one night from Slice. They quoted an hour and a half delivery time so I was pleasantly surprised when the pizza arrived 45 minutes later. First, let me say I'm a really picky pizza eater of the New York persuasion. I like my pizza a little more thinner and not so doughy and saucy but this was hot and tasty nontheless. A solid 3 1/2 stars. The wings and greek salad were good too. My favorite pizzeria in the OBX is Cosmos so this didn't quite measure up but it was good. read more

I've been coming to the Outer Banks for over 25 years and have had pizza from Corolla to Ocracoke, and this is the best I've ever had ! The other pizzas I've tried taste like ketchup on cardboard compared to Slice ! Love the sauce, the toppings are very generous, and the staff there, especially the delivery guys, is friendly, helpful, and polite. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than the other places, but I'd prefer to pay 10-20% more and LOVE what I'm eating rather than taking the cheaper route and ending up with what tastes like a frozen Tony's pizza ! All their pizza is good but get the Grandma Pie. Trust me...it's what you want. IT'S AMAZING!!! This is my must have when I'm on the OBX. Fantastic Pizza! Pizza is not my go to food item of choice, however when traveling with a ten year old, it is easy. We were told by the hotel staff to check out Slice, and what a great recommendation. The dough was perfect, sauce was moderate an the toppings were deliciously fresh. We own a home very close to this pizza place and have been coming the outer banks for 39 years. Slice pizzeria is the closest thing to New York pizza in the entire outer banks. A classic no friils pizza slice joint. We were there for Monday madness this past week and had cheese slices for $1 each. The kids start talking about slice when we cross the bridge. read more

Good, not great. Their virtue is that you can order pizza by the slice, selecting from one of the pies on display. You pay, get your drink, and sit down in the very small dining area and wait for your slices to be delivered. The wait isn't long. They have thick Chicago-style pies, as well as thin crust, which is what we had. The pizza is good, but not earth-shaking. It's better than most beach pizza -- I'm beginning to despair about really good beach food. There are several tables outside, which are probably better options than having people waiting to order hovering by your inside table. read more

I liked the pizza at Pizza Stop more --- less crust and cheaper. But all and all, good solid NY style pizza. Sauce and cheese were good. Spinach roll was meh -- wouldn't order it again. Wings were good -- decent size, mild was actually mild. read more

Friendly and fast service. Pizza was great, I recommend the "Natural Gourmet." Seating is limited inside, but there is some bar/counter seating and lots of seating on the patio outside. Perfect for eating with your kids, you can order by the slice (huge slices) and then everyone is happy. Slice Pizzeria is also very clean, including the restrooms. Travelled to OBX from Maryland. After looking for pizza spots we came across this one. Ordered the Chicago style pizza and it was delicious. The toppings tasted great. We couldn't finish the pie because the portions are huge. The pizza still tastes as good reheated. There was some confusion about my order, but the staff handled it well beyond my expectations. The ownership of this location instill great values and it shows in their product. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to OBX! read more

The second we crossed the NC state line, my boyfriend started talking about "beach pizza." Beach pizza? "You know," he said. "Pizza just tastes better at the beach." I didn't know that, actually... Great variety of pizza. The deep dish is deep with a crisp crust. Stuffed Meat pizza is huge, yet not cooked all way through two times we ordered, bottom was doughy-will skip for the price. Order by the slice but be prepared to wait. We stopped in at one in the afternoon and the line was long, and never seemed to get shorter. We finally ordered and then waited a fair bit to get our pizza- it was being warmed. This location has a small selection of tables and we sat by the door- the fan over top of the door kept going on every time Someone walked in or out- it was not super pleasant. The pizza itself was ok, there was a good selection to choose from including these bun type things stuffed with spinach, cheese, etc. Just ok. I can't speak much to the NY style pizza as I will probably NEVER agree that anyone makes a NY pizza as good as a true NY pizzeria. I will say that those of you complaining that the pizza is "too greasy", have obviously NEVER had a true NY slice. Those from NYC, blot slices or hold them down to "drain" the oil off of them. That said, I truly enjoyed, Slice Pizzeria on our family's recent vacation to the OBX this past weekend. Our family used the wonderful Yelp friends we have to choose our dinner on our first night in KDH. We opted for dining in and, luckily for us, there was a table that sat four right near the pizza display. We ordered a caesar salad, large Chicago style pizza, 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni, onion and jalapeño, two drinks and two kid's drinks which came in a souvenir cup. The service was courteous and efficient. The caesar salad was your typical fare, but if it were bad I would've remembered so I wasn't disappointed. I doubt you would be either. The cook came out to ask us if we'd like it cut to accommodate our family which I truly appreciated. The Chicago style pizza was great! The crust was was crisp on the bottom and cooked all the way through. We ALL really enjoyed the pizza and dinner as a whole. The food aside, the music was really rocking. I had a hard time managing my table manners and not singing along. The place was clean, the food was great, relatively inexpensive. What more could you ask for? read more
